Location, price & room amentities
Arrived late from Cebu via Oceanjet Fastcraft & was served promptly. Security & front office staff were polite & indeed put me in a better mood after the 2 hours asscracking fastcraft ride.. My family room was in the basement & had no windows, 2 beds , Good airconditioning, bathroom & a TV with cable channels. Wifi was only available at the ground level but i didn't use it since i left pretty quickly for a night walk around town.. this hotel was well located in the town area & convenient. I returned late at 1am after some drinks at local bar & Security & Front office staff were alert & welcoming as well. Good choice for a stay in Tagbilaran. I left the following morning for Panglao & will certainly recommend this mid-range place. Only improvement area will be wifi for all rooms instead of the ground floor only.

Well Maintained hostel...
1. Clean, 2, Not expensive, 3. Not noisy
Stayed two nights with a wife and two children. Clean but no balcony. wifi connection only in the lobby. A nice Chinese restaurant nearby but it's not close to the shopping mall to walk with children. And the breakfast is just basic...

Reasonable
Cost performance is good. Only the downside is the internet connection. The internet is available only in the lobby.

Fine
Near malls and port.. accessible & not expensive
It was okay.. would have been better if they served breakfast earlier and that they accept credit card payments for rooms worth less than 1000pesos..

Great Value for money, accessible location
Courteous staff, clean, affordable
I stayed in Sun Avenue on September 4-6, 2015. I checked around 2:30 pm since they charge for early check-in of guest(before 2pm). First thing I noticed is the cleanliness of the lobby area and the prim-ness of the receptionist(s). Everything seems clean and organized. Wifi is only available in the lobby, though. The check-in process was smooth. The room's spacious and all things were quite new and clean. Bedsheet is clean. Floor is clean. The rest room wall tiles, though, had soap/shampoo dried residue that stick on the wall (they should scrub it often). Room was generally quite beyond what I expected for a budget hotel. I really appreciate the staff. When I ask for a towel, they gladly complied in no time. The cafe personnel were also very nice and accomodating. Everybody greets and smiles when they see you. Rule is always be nice to them so they will also treat you with respect. The café is quaint and practical and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is ok. Nothing fancy. The hotel is a short distance from the city center. Downtown is just in the corner. Very accessible. I definitely got more than my money's value. If you're into staying for the night/couple of nights (without pool amenity), this certainly fits your list. #recommended
