Staff performance, location, quiet room
It's a nice enough place to stay in Cebu with an excellent location close to the business district and adjacent to Ayala mall. The staff is by far the best thing about this hotel. Otherwise it's kind of a 'tired' property and not up to the usual Marriott standards as far as the property goes. The rooms are fine, comfortable bed, and the cleaning staff does a nice job. It's certainly not a 5 star hotel but a solid 4 star.

Excellent Staff
The staff, the location next to Ayala mall, the staff.
Overall the stay was fine. The rooms are comfortable and the staff puts forth maximum effort. The room service food leaves something to be desired - fairly bland and often delivered luke-warm. There's also a strong smell of mold throughout the hotel despite the air fresheners but that's fairly common in tropical SE Asia. It's not a 5 star hotel - 4 at the max and barely that. But it has a prime location next to the mall and fairly easy access to the airport. And really, the staff are terrific and make up for many of the shortfalls of the hotel.

Stayed there for weeks felt like a local. Always something happening at the Ayala mall and plenty of restaurants and bars to go to. Nice!!

The staff is very attentive and thoughtful, located next to Ayala Mall, decent room size.
It's a nice hotel by Philippine standards but short of 5 star. Smoking is allowed just about everywhere which is very annoying. The pool is on the small size and could use additional furniture especially on busy weekends. Loud music and endless emcee chatter (at FULL VOLUME) from private corporate pool-side parties is allowed until late at night - very sleep disruptive. The staff is sweet and tries hard which is always appreciated.

Best location for shopping, dining, business trips
Strategic location, staff who are very courteous and can speak English fluently and you get your money's worth, especially if you have an access to its Executive Lounge
It was a very pleasant experience. The staff are very courteous, respectful and hospitable. The rooms, bed linens, towels, and its facilities are very clean. You feel very secured of your stay in the hotel because of its strict security policy. With the price that you pay, you get your money's worth.
