Bang for the buck”

The room is clean, has relaxing lighting, large window to let natural light in in the morning, with ample amenities, has lots of space (can possibly accommodate a small family), and the best of all, the room we got has a bathtub. There's free first-come, first-serve garage parking and lots of parking outside the hotel. The staff are very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. The hotel's location is in the middle of the Subic Freeport Area, which is basically minutes away from the beaches of the north and the forest reserves to the south. It's also a couple of blocks away from two major malls like Harbor Point and SM. This is very accessible to guests with their own vehicles. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and will definitely stay in this hotel again if ever we visit Subic again.

2nd timer”

It's been my second time to visit mango valley hotel 1 but this time with my office mates and their family. And they are wowed by the service and value for money of the hotel. Very accommodating and helpful with our activity in Subic. Keep it up guys!

Money well spent!”

Me and my wife stayed 2 days for christmas the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. The location was also near the entrance of the freeport, just 10mins walk from the entrance. Near a lot restaurants. The staff were polite and very helpful. I will definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and comeback if we ever visit subic.

Staff were helpful. Big room. Hot shower, wifi, and aircon working. Recommend to put in their signage Mango Valley Hotel 1, 2 and 3. Have a hard time finding Mango Valley Hotel 1. Overall Excellent stay. Will definitely come back to this hotel.

Consistent delightful buffet breakfast ”

The Mango Valley1 breakfast is great compared to other 04 stars hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and relaxing, complete with basic things a traveler might need. The staff are courteous and their supervisor Marilyn is accommodating, has a heart of a real hotelier. Thanks Mango Valley 1 and we will keep on coming back, great value for money.

Great hotel”

The location of the "Mango Valley Hotel 1" is very good. We were with everything (room, breakfast, cleanliness, friendliness) very satisfied. 2 negative Points: No € is changed, only US $. There is no pool, which is a pity. We'll be back.

Excellent location, very spacious rooms, and value for money”

The size of the rooms really surprised us. With 2 adults and 1 kid for each room (we had 3 rooms), there was more than enough space. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the beachfront, where you can take leisurely walks and find a variety of restaurants. Other dining options are also within walking distance. Royal Duty Free supermarket is a few minutes away by foot. Their breakfast buffet offers a good selection - bread, pancakes, soup, rice, noodles, and meat & vegetable dishes. The drawback is that they were slow to replenish and on the 2nd and 3rd day, they ran out of jam, bread, and pancakes. When asked, the staff said they weren't adding more, and it was only 9 AM (breakfast is from 6-10AM). One thing that can be improved - the shower curtain in some rooms as the edges had some mildew. Will stay again if we visit Subic in the future.

Value for money”

The breakfast buffet is good and it delivers variety! Get some! Location is nice. It's a short walk from the busy and noisy boardwalk where hotel rooms are more expensive and basically offer the same size room as Mango. Internet is fast. One issue was that I couldn't figure out how to take a shower with the bathtub faucet. I don't think it was working or I just couldn't figure out which knob or lever needed to be used to take a shower... but I touched all of them... Mango is close to a KTV, disco, restaurants and what looks like an SBMA medical dispensary - not sure if this was for the public though. You can walk to a nearby cafe or to the Harborpoint mall. Taxi vehicles are ubiquitous, as there is always one driving in front of the hotel. This is a nice hotel to come back to.

Big rooms”

They have big rooms, nice wood floors and a couch that can still be used as a bed. No views outside your windows. Easily accessible to malls inside SBMA. Walking distance to a grocery store selling imported goods. My biggest con was that they charged me for 2 extra people (P750 each) because I booked thru Agoda with 2 pax only. I've stayed in tons of other 3-5star hotels and I've never been charged for extra person in rooms. They dont even care if I fit 6 people in a Family room. So why would Mango charge me? But I just shrugged it off. Lol Would not recommend it here because of that experience. I can definitely stay in other hotels for the same price with better facilities and food.

Clean but noisy”

Reasonable value. A few blocks from beach as well as Harbour Point Mall and Subic main gate. New and clean. However, very noisy. Staff and other guests can be easily heard in hallway early in morning. Also, nearby club starts blaring music about 8am each morning.

Nice place and great value for your money”

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed at 1st level and the room is big. The location is near the bay which you can enjoy the great scenery. It is also near Royal duty free. The staff are polite and courteous. We also enjoyed the food, breakfast buffet. Aside from those, we have also received 15% discount to zoobic safari. What a great deal! Will definitely recommend the place to friends and families. Kudos and see you till our next visit!

Best value for money”

It would have been nicer should there had been a pool or a play area for kids. Nonetheless the bath tub compensated for it, my daughter was extatic, used it twice. The room is complete with all the basic things you'll need. Coffee maker, slippers etc. It even has a blower I knew that breakfast would be good (from reviews i read beforehand) but upon seeing the menu, i was really pleasantly surprised. They don't offer your 'usual hotel breakfast' Of all hotels i've stayed in, this has the best value for money so far.

They Charge You for Blood Stained Sheet.”

Mango Valley 1, Subic, charged me Php 3,600 on a blood stained sheet due to my period. It is a health issue that I have due to my endometriosis. They reasoned out it is a "stain". But blood can be removed, and doesn't stain. But they insisted on me paying for their imported bed sheet. And so, my family and I are never going to check-in this hotel again. Also, their staff in the buffet area is selective of their hospitality, some of them are only nice to foreigners.

Mango Valley 1 stay”

Stayed at Mango Valley 1 for 3 nights. Was given one of the oldest rooms. The room was spacious enough but, that's the only plus. It's old and needs renovation. The toilet is very noisy when flushed, the shower pressure is very low, hot water is limited the noise from the nearby main road is terrible. The only plus for the money we paid is the included breakfast. The items were limited but, the food was good. he staff was helpful and attentive.

Exceeded expectations”

I wasn't enthusiastic about this hotel before the trip as the hotel i first chose was fully booked, but as soon as we got there, they never stopped pleasing me. Room was big, part of wall was bricks, narra floor and furniture, high quality interior, the bathroom has spacious tub, fixtures were good quality. And the breakfast buffet spread had a lot of choices. Location is great too, short walk to Royal duty free, SBMA beach, Harbor Point mall, Texas Joe's and other landmarks.
