Place is convenient and easily accessible. A few cheap eating places nearby and MRT station is at its basement.

near perfect stay at most convenient hotel
V Hotel Lavender remains the most convenient hotel in Singapore because of its location and the nearby food establishments; the staff were friendly and we got checked in and out in no time. My only concern is that the hotel doesn't offer currency exchange. (Yes, there is a money changer right outside the hotel. But in this particular instance, we had to take a cab to the airport at 4 a.m. The money changer was closed.)

No frills budget hotel
Very convenient location above an MRT station on the green EW line that connects to the airport, and it's highly affordable compared to other Singapore hotels. However, the rooms are tiny and not cleaned very thoroughly (possibly because the cleaners have difficulty moving in the tight spaces). The buffet breakfast is adequate, although there are a number of other options around the hotel.
