A comveniently located small hotel
Location & price
Even taxi drivers are not able to locate it. Better to get there by subway, get out of exit 7. It won't take you more than 10 min to walk there with a big suitcase.

Nice and convenient located hotel
Convenient located hotel within the city centre.
Convenient located hotel and easily accessible by taxi and metro train.Staff are friendly. hotel room is reasonably big and clean and value for money eventhough there is no breakfast provided. One can easily walk to the metro station and visit all the interesting places. Food are easily available around the vicinity of the hotel.

Great hotel in the city!
Close to everything in the middle of Seoul
Find the hotel can be a little bit confusing because one can get confused between Hotel Irene City and Hotel Irene. My overall stay for the weekend was great. We booked a triple and an extra double for the public viewing of the Olympics between Japan and Korea for soccer. The hotel is close to Myeongdong and City Hall, making it a perfect location to just get a bit of rest when needed. The only advice I have for guests is that females should be aware of walking back to the hotel alone or without males in the group. The area around the hotel has many 'nightclubs' which could be dangerous when a bunch of drunk men are around walking the streets. Other than that, there we're friendly staff and you get a bang for your buck.

opposite mundaemun, eazy to go to shopping
small room but it'ok. the hotel hard to find because it's locate in the small street. you should to drop off at city hall station. and walk to hotel irene first, then go to find Gs25 shop at the corner, the hotel irene city locate in that street. you can go to chk in at 4th floor. Reception was really helpful and friendly. you can ask for more tourist informations over there. totally i enjoy to stay in this hotel. it's worth with the money that you have pay.

Nice stop-over hotel
Service is nice
The location is quite convenient, juz hear Myeongdong and Nam daemun. It is easy to go to Lotte Department Store. And right next to the hotel, you can find a convenient store there! Serivice is nice but room is a bit small. Not enough space for a big luggage

japanese style in the japanese area of seoul
many 24 resturants near by - good for an overnight business trip
there are actually two hotel irene on the same strip. the one by the main road across the street of Hoehyeon entrance is hotel irene. i went there and they pointed me to irene city. same company owns both... this hotel to me is gear to the Japanese tourists, there are no windows. but you can still smoke. its looks and feels like a Japanese business hotel. you get the rooms you need to swipe you room key in the elevator to get to your floor. it was confusing at first. tv has alotta Japanese channels. for the price i pay it was worth the stay. with out getting extreme claustiphobia

Lovely hotel and great location
Great location, friendly staff, convenience
loated near to the city hall subway station where city hall station just one station away from seoul station (seoul station is a main station where all the metro meet, ktx, metro to air port, korail...) less than 10 min walk to the hotel. lotte duty free shop, lotte world by metro only 30 min. most famous shopping paradise, myeong dong just within walking distance, can reach by walk underground. isadong(korean traditional market) also just few station away from city hall station. some sightseeing attraction just located beside the city hall. the only things to be concerned is irene city hotel entrance lacated at the back of the street, it is quite unsafe to back too late. some compliment, the hotel try to upgrade our room from standard to triple room foc. although we did not take it, but we appreciate such arrangement.

Very Convenient Hotel
Close to City Hall and Central Station as well as major shopping area
Very convenient place and close to the shopping area... It is very nice if you like to do shopping in Korea... Particularly when it is under X'mas Sales.. This hotel is very clean and easy to access. But the room is very small and no place to true around... but for shopping and short stay.. It is a good choice.

Nice & Tidy Hotel, but small
Location
the hotel is located in buk chang dong, which is located just next to city hall. all the gourmet restaurant is located near the hotel. however, the area at night time, the bars and clubs located and attract the people, so is not good for the familly travellers. the room is little bit small, but pretty new and clean.
