value for money stay
location is near the MRT and See Men Ting shoping district
The room is old. toilet not very clean. The good point is the location is near the MRT station and see meng ting shopping district. Breakfast if ok not fantastic.Staff is ok . there is wireless internet provided. The carpet is old. The light bulb blow off in the middle of the night. The air con not working too well as the fresh air intake not enough. however, it price is quite reasonable. I think this hotel badly need to uprade its hardware and facilities as all items in the hotel look old.

Strategic location
Polite and helpful reception staff
although located at a small lane off main road, this hotel is easy to find. ximen station exit 6 is less than 50 m away. its best assets are the reception staff who are polite and helpful when answering queries about moving around in taipei. lighting in room was a bit dim and there were mosquitoes too during the last 2 days of my stay. stay was pleasant and would recommend this hotel for those travelling on shoestring budget.

Friendly staff
can leave extra luggage with hotel when moving on to other city
room upgraded. but facing main street and highway, so quite noisy though at 10th floor (hotel has only 12 floors). about 10min walk to Taipei Main station or Ximen metro (mostly sheltered, which is good for rainy days.
