Going downhill
I've stayed at this hotel many times as it's close to the airport and has a shuttle service. I have to say that the shuttle service is not what it used to be. There seems to be no coordination between the hotel and their agent at the airport. Last 2 stays it required at least calls to the hotel to get picked up. There is no consistency. Some times you have to go outside to find the van, other times they tell you to wait at Door 4. Took over one hour to get to the hotel (50 minutes waiting and a couple of calls) this last trip. I'm going to try some of the other hotels in the future as there are more competitors now. Also no lift and the water pressure drops as you go to higher floors.

No quite a good choice
This hotel is strictly for someone who has to catch a flight while the Airport BTS link doesn't operate and doesn't want to spend time at airport. Because it's at a faraway and of Bangkok with old rooms and noisy air-conditioners. It is better just book another hotel next to a BTS station and reach the airport from there. Taxi from this hotel to airport is 200THB so you have to add that to the room price when considering.

Reasonably priced hotel good for transit stay
I always use Convenient Resort when I just need to transit through Bangkok and need a basic place to stay. Nothing fancy, but quite acceptable for the price. Attached open air restaurant has good tom kha gai. Only ten minutes from airport. Be sure to pick the room plus airport transfer option. New travellers may have some difficulty finding hotel representative, because there is no sign held up. But if you ask among the cheap hotel reps, you will find the right person, and the shuttle bus will be there to pick you up in a few minutes.

Convenient Resort is very convenient.
Clean, basic rooms w/ aircon 5 minutes from BKK. Electric hot water shower. Very quiet, excellent price, free shuttle to/from BKK when you spend a little extra for a bigger room. I payed around $26us, April2016. 1 and 1/4 kilometer walk to Skytrain. 150M to main road eating and shopping. Good restaurant just across main road. Free wifi. No issues w/ connecting. Average sig. I stay here every year when I visit Thailand. Comfortable, simple, cheap.

convenient
location, room sizes convenience
Stayed here many times, does not change except price, a good choice for an overnight stay between flights or late arrival, only complaint is no elec.jug in room, have to go downstairs with supplied thermos also may be starting to become borderline economically, however being so close the airport still a good choice.
