"The whole property is great. It is a brand new place & looks exactly like the pictures posted above. Location is great, away from the hustle of Sukhumvit. Really near BTS Nana, a walk away from Terminal 21 & loads to eateries around. Staffs are friendly. It being a new hotel, the house phone was not installed yet so if you require any assistance you would have to go down to the lobby. Room is spacious & clean, bed is comfortable and the size great for family. Would definitely come back here!"

"I decided to stay here for one night using my Agoda cash, even I stayed for free, I wouldn't mind to pay to stay at your hotel. I don't know the name of the front lady staff at the main building who upgraded our room, but I'd like to thank her for this upgrading. Even it was just a night, we had a great time. The room was clean. For breakfast, there was variety of choices and there were delicious. Especially omelet. It was one of the best omelets I ever had. If someone asks me to recommend a hotel in Sukhumvit area, Rembrandt Hotel will be one of those hotels."

"Nestled away down a peaceful side street of ThongLor yet amongst the centre of Bangkok's best neighbourhood. The design & quality of fittings is that which you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. It's so peaceful here with sound proofing walls. The staff from receptionist to the security, house keeping & manager all conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism. To say it's a bargain would be a vast understatement."

"We stayed at the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit Hotel for two nights and three days as part of our honeymoon. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at but compared to the three other 4-5 star hotels we tried, this was by far the best. We stayed in an Executive Club Room which was as good if not better than the photos on this website. Very impressive rooms and the most comfortable beds and pillows! Great service, English, and coffee! Breakfast could have been a better range of things, but what they did have was still impressive and good quality. This was the only hotel to give us a real latte, so the coffee is fantastic. Staff are apparently trained overseas in the spa and we had a great massage at 50% discount with a voucher they gave us on arrival. We found the cocktail hour and afternoon tea in the Executive Club Room a great bonus to this hotel, and note that kids aren't allowed in this room (which I found good actually). The pool was also fantastic, and would be great for kids as they have a shallow area with some water coming down a wall for them to play in. The location was also convenient, to get to nearby shopping malls such as the MBK Centre, the skytrain is also only a short three-minute walk from the hotel, and reception staff will provide you with a map and good directions. They will also call a meter taxi for you which are very cheap. Ask them how much to expect to pay and how long, they provided us with very good information."

"Nice hotel in a quiet side street off of Sukhumvit Soi 11. Excellent location, with BTS Nana just a 2 minute walk away. I booked just the standard room (303) but it was quite large. Being the low season, maybe it was upgraded. The room had a big comfy double bed; Bathroom with glass fronted shower; Loads of storage space.; In room safe; Mini fridge; LCD TV; Air Conditioner; Window which opened and looked over the street; Two lifts; Also there's a free coffee machine to use in the lobby. The only problem was that the bathroom floor got wet after a shower. As the water would leak under the shower door and could not drain away due to the drain hole being the other side of the toilet. Also the shower rack came loose and the shower bottles smashing on the floor, but it was repaired. They tried to charge me the 500 bht deposit, but I insisted it was a maintenance fault so it was refunded. Overall a good choice with a couple of issues, which did get resolved. So I would recommend it"

In and around Sukhumvit

More about Sukhumvit

Sukhumvit is Bangkok’s all-star shopping district, serviced by a spread of transport hubs, restaurants and entertainment complexes. Slick and modern, this district takes its name from Sukhumvit Road, essentially the backbone of Bangkok. It may not have many historic sites, but it more than makes up for this with cosmopolitan polish.

Sukhumvit certainly has something for everyone. Business travelers gravitate to five-star hotels around Queen Sirikit National Convention Center; tourists peruse back-alley bazaars and street cafés; while shoppers can pass entire days in the air-conditioned comfort of Sukhumvit’s huge shopping malls.

Most of the hotels in Sukhumvit are to the west around Robinson shopping center and several Skytrain (BTS) and subway (MRT) stations. To the east are shopping hubs like Emporium, the trendy J Avenue and Ekkamai Major shopping centers. The latter is next door to Bangkok's Eastern Bus Terminal. All of this is due north of a major bend in the Chao Phraya River, where express shuttles ply from one pier to the next.

Sukhumvit is a great place to be based because local transport lines head out to every major district in Bangkok. Sukhumvit itself branches off into countless side streets (sois), some of which can be explored on foot. Sois 4 and 21 (21/1 is called Soi Cowboy) light up at night with a tempting array of go-go bars and nightclubs.

There’s an art to exploring Bangkok, and first-time visitors are easily overwhelmed by the scope and sprawl of this city. The best experiences await those who narrow the field to one or two neighborhoods. Booking hotels in Sukhumvit puts tourists in a prime position to enjoy Bangkok’s cosmopolitan side, without giving up access to historic attractions.
