Affordable Hotel with Great Service
Fast and efficient service from hotel staffs
This isn't a new hotel with a grand entrance. Their elevator's are small and old but the rooms are still in good shape. Best of all when you order something, it will be delivered into your room in less than 5 minutes which is not the case of most other hotels I've been into.

Great Place to Stay
Near everything
So close to the night market and skytrain. Had great time. Catch a skytrain to Chakuchak Market, heaps of great shopping. Hotel is fine - not too basic - free wifi and coffee/tea in your room. Showers are good, and everything is airconditioned. Staff were generally very good, only one poor experience with a maid, and the hotel sent up some flowers and fruit to apologize, so what more could anyone ask for?

Good service and good food
Breakfast spread and proximity to Silom
Within walking distance of the major shopping and night life areas in Silom. Rooms are large enough not to feel over-crowded but the extra bed in a standard room is not advised as there isn't enough space to put one even if it is allowed by Agoda. The hotel decor and designs are dated and in need of updating.

Good value hotel with excellent location
price, breakfast, location
The Narai was excellently located in Silom Road within easy reach of restaurants, shops and the Chong Nonsi skytrain station. It is a no-nonsense place with decent service and good rooms. It is not luxury - e.g. the toiletries are not great - but for the price it is a great deal.

Lot's going for it...
location is good....rooms are nice too
I expected this to be a classic older-style Thai-Chinese hotel with the reception and common areas inevitably being in better shape than the rooms, but no...nice surprise...common areas are tired but the rooms are good. Aircon not too load and works well without freezing you to sleep. Wi-fi is fast with a good signal (I also think it was free, but I could be wrong). Beds huge and maybe a touch hard but lovely superfine sheets. Thundering shower and plenty of hot water. We had a room at the back and could stay on a low floor (I don't use lifts in Thailand) without any noise issues. Front desk staff not great but bellboys excellent...

My Favourite hotel in BKK
Centrally situated
As always an enjoyable stay in a comfortable hotel in the centre of BKK. I always stay here as the staff are friendly and the whole experience is comfortable and easy. Hoghly recommended to anyone visiting BKK.

Hotel not 4 stars in my opinion
Christmas decorations were nice
Booked a superior room (double bed) with breakfast. When arrived room was downgraded, given 2 single beds. Asked to be put in room of quality asked/booked for. Moved to the 10th floor at back of hotel. No bathrobes and no mini bar as per booking. When questioned staff were rude and told us to contact booking agency as their advert was wrong. Staff very unhelpful when asking for directions out of hotel. Breakfast starts early enough but lift to 2nd floor switched off meaning you have to use stairs to restaraunt and either leave cases at reception or carry upstairs Bad location for shopping and very seedy of a night time

Good hotel, centrally located
Good breakfast and smack right in the shopping area.
Overall, a good place to stay, hotel near the BTS Chong Nongsi station. It is also walking distance to the Siloam Plaza which is about 15 minutes walk away. If you like to walk, you can also do so at Lumpini park. Take the BTS from Chong Nongsi Station and alight at Sala Deng Station. Take a short walk to Lumpini park for your exercise. Will come again.
