recommended, valuable, nice ”
the hotel is run by the second Chinese generation, which is just next to the central train station and China town. Even the hotel is quite old, as now the management is the second generation already, but on the other hand, everything inside the hotel is very classic. you can have a very nice view at the balcony, something really about Bangkok. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we left our backpack there for a whole week, and they even have a scale for us to check the weight of our bags, what a amazing. if you look for a luxury and very brand new hotel, Krungkasem Srikrung Hotel is not the one, but at least, comfortable, clean, budget those kind of elements, this hotel all has.

Quaint, Comfortable, Accessible, Good service, ”
It was a comfortable stay at Krungkasem Srikrung hotel. We love the fact that it's just a stone throw away and walking distance from the majestic Hualamphong Train Station, MRT and even a bus stop. So, access to a lot of areas and districts was very easy. Room was spacious, with a good view of the city from the room's balcony. Bed foam was firm, but it was food for my back, after a long tiring day of walking. Staff, especially the ladies at the front desk are very friendly and helpful, and speak good English well. Free Continental breakfast was somehow filling too. However, we wish that this hotel could consider having some makeover to update and modernize it a bit from its sort of 70s-80s era look and ambiance. Nevertheless, all in all, it was a good, safe and convenient stay at Srikrung hotel.

Old style service”
I booked this hotel only as it was close to a friends hotel that was booked out... so kinda last choice as it looked rather cheap and cheerful. But to my amazement the place grew on me. I booked 3 nights and after getting there ... thought to myself “what the”. Anyways.... the guy on the door was on the ball.... the ladies behind the counter were all switched on and spoke English. From the start it was good old fashioned service. The rooms were dated but everything was clean and worked. Bed was comfortable and a modern tv. Breakfast was included also in there low price. It was a small smorgasbord.... but ticked the boxes for me.... eggs toast and thai dishes, cereal etc.....unfortunately if you like bacon.... I didn’t see any.... you really don’t need it anyways. I did not go to china town to shop or site see.... so I can not comment on the location to things like that. It’s right across from the railway stations... so easy access to other places in Bangkok. recommended

Wonderful stay at the Krungkasen Hotel”
We needed to fly into Bangkok in order to take the train up to Chiang Mai so we wanted a hotel that would be close to the train station. This hotel is located in China Town and a short walk from the train station which was great for our needs. We found the outside of the hotel to be a little rough but the insides were really nicely kept and the rooms were super clean. Our morning breakfast was really good and there were a number of options available for breakfast. The price for this hotel was only $30 a night so it was great value for a clean hotel close to the train station. We would recommend this hotel if convenience to train station is important to you.

Old hotel that has stood the test of time ”
This hotel must have been around for decades. There’s nothing about the interior decor to shout about. But I had a good stay n would recommend it. My Thai friend told me it’s a well known budget hotel among local businessmen. The location is great — just a short walk to hua lamphong MRT n not too far to walk and explore the area as you make your way to China town yaowarat area. The room is large, nothing fanciful but comfortable and very clean with very functional aircon n bathroom/shower. Breakfast was buffet style n more than adequate, with juices, toasts with jam n butter, hot beverages, cornflakes, porridge, ham, sausages, fried eggs .... more than you can eat. For the low room rates charged, they’ve provided well enough. Definitely will stay here again if I want to be in an old part of Bangkok which, if you take your time to explore on foot you’ll discover popular eateries among locals which hv been around for a long time.

Great Location , Amazing View!”
Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. At the price, it was a fantastic deal. Agoda's booking system was fantastic. Received immediate confirmation and got very good discount on the room tariff. The hotel is located right opposite Hua Lampong Train Station and MRT station. We could take train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and walk across the canal to the hotel without any problem. Also, could easy take the morning train to Ayutthaya. The MRT gate is located right outside the station and it was very convenient travelling across the city. The hotel has a restaurant and room service options too. Breakfast was quite filling. Room overlooking the station was clean but basic. The view of city in the early morning and night was amazing!! We are totally satisfied and we intend to stay here again in the future.

Srikrung good value for the money”
This hotel was top of the line 30 years ago. Today it is an aging facility but one that fits my needs. I arrived in Bangkok on the train walk across the street and check in. From the hotel, I can visit Chinatown easily or take the nearby subway to other parts of the city. The room at the Srikrung is clean and usually very quiet. Breakfast is basic, eggs, toast, hot dogs and sandwich ham and coffee. The restaurant in the evenings will fix you just about any basic Thai meal.

Great hotel, especially for the price”
Everything is fine. Maybe it's not the newest hotel, but it is clean and has everything as advertised. The location is great, just a few minutes walking distance to China Town and right next to the train station and a subway station. I personally missed cheese for breakfast, but I understand that this is a hotel in Thailand with lots of Chinese customers and that European breakfast cannot be expected. They had lots of other breakfast options though.

Don't judge it from the outside”
I was a bit sceptical when i arrived. From the outside this hotel was unappealing. The loby and room look like the 50-s. However, it was super clean. For the money i paid it was totally worth it.right infront of Hua Lamphong train station. And you can walk to China Town

Great location by train station and MRT (underground)”
Best location for train riders. You cross a street and cross a pedestrian bridge over a canal and you are at the front door of the hotel. The MRT ends in the train station. The hotel is old, true, but they keep it very clean. Mini bar, soap in the shower, flat screen TV (I wish it had a USB port so I could watch movies), hot water pot, balcony. They let you choose a room facing the trains or the front side. I've only stayed on the train side. THe A/C is very cold, the shower is very hot, good pressure. It was quiet inside and out. Breakfast (starts at 6:30) is selected from a small menu, Western style or Asian. I had scrambled eggs, ham, toast, juice, tea - the last 3 you can have more. Staff are friendly but at night English is limited. WIFI was up the whole time, fast enough to download a movie and upload photos. I did not use the trains this time but stayed here as I came from Don Muang airport on the MRT, and I used the MRT to go eat and shop. I will stay again.

酒店位置很好,挨着火车站、地铁站,距离唐人街也就15分钟左右的步行时间。卫生也很不错”
This is a quite comfortable hotel I've never seen before. It boasts a very good location which is around 100 meters away from the train station and metro, and you just need approximate a quarter hour walking to the China Town. By the way, the housekeeping team is very friendly and always ready to help guests although housekeeping team members cannot speak fluent English.

Great location, helpful staff and awesome breakfast”
Near Chinatown where you can eat sumptuous seafood meals, near the bus stop going to grand Palace. Ride bus route 53 at Treemitr road near a buddhist temple and pay 16 baht to reach Grand Palace. Near Hua Lamphong train station where you can ride to go to ride a train going to Ayutthaya or if you are a big group at most 10 person you can ask some people there to rent a van that will tour you to different attractions in Ayutthaya for just 500 baht per person. If yoo have questions just ask the hotel staff and they would be happy to help you. Will stay here next time I go to Bangkok and it’s highly recommended. We left the hotel at 5am and they had our breakfast packed which allows us to bring it to the airport. just make sure you drink the fresh milk, juice and water alon with the sandwich before going to the immigration since they won’t allow you to bring liquids which are more than 100 ml inside the gate.

Nice clean hotel good value for money”
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, great location near train and metro station and walking distance to China Town food streets. Excellent value for the price. The main drawback is the complicated wifi system with daily cupons, breaks, max. 2 devices allowance and not easy to be connected (although the staff was very helpful trying solving this situation).

Excellent choice for location”
Stayed 2 times. It's a perfect match for the location and service provided. Just a step away from railway station and MTR. Hotel isn't new, but renovated. Nothing exceptionally luxurious, but all the amenities are working, cleaninnes is maintained well. Decent size rooms with LCD TVs, new aircons, good showers. Furniture is practical, not new, but newly painted. Many rooms have balconies. Big fridge and kettle with complimentary coffee and water provided. I definitely will stay there again. For the price of a guesthouse you can get a really good room in a real hotel with (good) English (Chinese, Japanese) speaking staff. Very good value for money.
