Nice location, pool, helpful staff and dinner at the beach. That's it!”

White sand beach has truely the best fine sand and is the most crowded beach of the island. The hotel is located just at the middle of the beach. It offers the best beach pool of the area. There are mostly families in this hotel. If you want to explore all of the beaches on Koh Chang stay in this hotel for White Sand beach. But don't expect too much in term of the room facilty and cleaness or comfort. It is worth to stay for 2-3 nights not more.

Cannot faulte the place”

Staff very good, check in smooth. Room is ok if not a little dated but clean no problems here. Facilities very good. Excellent pool, right on the beach and good swimming in the sea. Right on White Sand beach entertainment with very nice restaurants near by. Really enjoy staying their and look forward to the nesx time.

Great beach location”

Enjoyed my stay, that is, after I dispatched with a few unwanted visitors. The first visitor, a prehistoric cockroach, challenged me in the bathroom. We stood face to face like a couple of gunslingers, but I drew the faster shoe! His brother undoubtedly sought his revenge, and confronted me in the bedroom. Again, my six-shoeter was quicker. The word must have been spread by the town's roaches that I wasn't to be messed with, and my remaining days were peaceful and clean. The breakfast was average, except for the made-to-order omelets. Quit tasty, and there was a bottle of Tabasco sauce on every table to my joy! White Sands beach is not very long and some sections were rocky, but not at this hotel. Soft sand, and a calm sea made the days relaxing. The pool is nice, but full of noisy kids, but kids will be kids. About the food, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that food vendors occupied a section of the road at night. You don't need to spend much in the restaurants, when you can sample all types of treasures from Thailand. Although not a Thai food, I especially found the kebobs to be excellent. Plenty of souvenir shops, convenience stores, etc. One of my highlights was renting a motorbike (250 baht) for a day and traveling all the way down to Lonely Beach. A fun ride with hills and curved thrills. I would stay again.

Superb”

We loved this hotel. Perfect location for us, great rooms, and friendly staff. there's a little hut/bar just by the beach, with the best barman you could hope for (Jeep I think his name was). Koh Chang is a beautiful place, and we'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely holiday”

Arrived initially for 7 days and enjoyed the hotel and the White Sand beach so much we extended for another 4 days. Regardless of the rain a lovely stay. Look forward to going back.

Very goog hotel”

It was our first visit Koh Chang island. I'm very like the island. Nice hotel, beautiful beach,very good location, good breakfast. We are not very prejudicer for the hotel, because we always have a good mood, when we go to beach vacation. I can not remember negative impressions from the hotel.

Good value for money”

Koh Chang Lagoon Resort is locate on the beach with a swiming pool close to the beach, nice and quiet. Locatet in the heart of white sand beach with bars and resturantes behind the reasort and beach in the front of resort. Good value for money.

Good room, big and clean. The hotel location is very good. Central to all on White Sand Beach. Swimming pool excellent. Right on the beach. Very peacefull enviornment. Look forward to staying there again soom.

Very nice hotel right on the beach and in the centre of the White Sands Beach area.Very good buffet breakfast.

Great Location”

This Hotel has rooms located on the beach side of the main road and our room was on the beach and nice and clean, the hotel its self was in the centre of the White Sandy Beach entertainment area but it was not noisy at night time, there is a little bar just across the road and a little to the right called Oudies that has live music on most nights of the week and is a good place to finish your night off.

Great location, old facilities”

This resort has a great location in the heart of White Sand Beach. The beach area in front of the resort is fantastic, with great restaurants (Cookies but NOT MAC) and a great bar (Sabay) adjacent to the resort. The recently redone pool is also quite nice, though some local Thai kids seem to spend every afternoon there and can be a BIT tiresome. Nothing against local kids playing about, but these two were a bit energetic and seemed to negatively impact on the playtime of the visiting guests' children. The main drawback about the resort is the state of the rooms. To be honest, they look like they haven't been remodeled since the resort opened 15 or 20 years ago. Complicated shower set up meant we needed someone to come around and explain how to turn on/off the shower, and lighting in the room went beyond "mood lighting" at night. Also the only option seemed to be two twin beds, and sliding them together didn't really equal a queen/king bed as the beds are on VERY roll-y wheels. In-bathroom toiletries were awful. Bring your own shampoo/soap/body wash. Wifi was good in lobby but very poor in-room. We stayed at the Gajapuri a few years ago but chose this place because we were paying for another couple and wanted to save a bit of money. However, I think we will go back to Gajapuri and take the extra hit to the wallet because the two places are really worlds apart. Breakfast buffet was decent but not extraordinary. Certainly enough on offer to keep us going through lunch, but it's the same fare every day. Also, pancakes have arrived, but syrup has not. Little thing, but for me important. Admittedly we were there after the peak season, but the hotel is NOT noisy at night. We were very pleased that most nights sound from the beach died down by 10pm.

Perfect Location”

For the third time we have stayed at Koh Chang lagoon resort and finally had the chance to book the honeymoon villa. The location of this villa is perfect, sitting on the balcony you are 5 meters away from the water of the beach. The inside of the villa although was a little bit dissapointing. It seems that these villas are not kept in new condition and the bed was not the bed i expected in the honneymoon villa. Overall the location really made up for eveything. For the rest, the service, the food, the maintenance and everything else was as very good. This is the reason why we keep coming back every time. Recommended!!

whites and beach is amazing, pool was nice”

Based on the other resorts we saw on white sand beach, this seemed like one of the better ones (aside from Kacha and KC which are above our price range but awesome). Our cabana on the beach was perfect. The pool was fun. However, the breakfast was mediocre and my whole family got food poisoning from the restaurant lunch. We mostly dined elsewhere. The staff is somewhat helpful but they still don't even have a system for charging things to the room.

Pretty good”

The resort is in a prime location. Right in the middle of white sand beach. It has a great pool and breakfast. It's only problem is the reception man at night. He was rude and inconsiderate as we were checking out. It took a little bit of yelling at him for him to start moving with a sense of urgency as we were in a big hurry to get to the first ferry of the day. In his defense it was 530 in the morning. The rooms are decently furnished and cleaned but it's nothing special. I wouldn't recommend the resort if it wasnt in such a great location along one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I can't even begin to explain how beautiful it is.

Highly recommended ”

If you visit ko chang look no further than to stay here. It has it all. Right on the beach, great pool, great restaurant and nearby to shops and nightlife. The rooms are very clean, with coffee provided. Day trips can be organised from right next door to the hotel. Just book it!! You will not regret it.

Great location”

Chech in very smooth. Car parking available. Room was a bit old and well used. Pool is excellent being right on the beach. Hotel location is right on White Sand beach. Look foreward to staying again but will upgrade to a better room.

Great location right on White Sand Beach. Room was good with balcony. Only problem no "Wi-Fi". Very quiet as it is offseason. Nice in the pool and along the beach.

Nice, peaceful hotel; comfortable rooms”

The hotel was idyllic. The rush of waves outside, no blaring music. In fact, no music at all. Candlelit tables on the sand for dinner. Comfortable beds, warm, nicely appointed room. Excellent service.
