Nice resort on nice beach ”

Aow Khoi Kwai is a ice beach on Phyam island . Calm and quiet . Good place to relax . I upgrade to a bungalow on beach front which is almost double price from room in building . Nice and comfy . . Only no hot shower set up yet and make me can't shower with cold water . But resort said it should set up soon. Thai desert , banana in coconut milk is awesome .

I loved it here. At first I stayed in another bungalow but are and spent my days at the sun. When I came backa few days later I booked a room here. I will visit again....

I stayed here for one night. The hotel staff was very helpful for me. It has a very quiet, calm and beautiful beach which is a little isolated from other area and do not have a lot of people. When you stay that hotel, I think you had better rent a motorcycle at pier to go around island.

We were very happy with our stay here. Ao Kwai (Buffalo Bay) is a beautiful and relaxed beach. The staff were friendly and the service was good. BONUS: you can see lots of hornbills feeding in the morning! The only drawback is that this place has no beachfront rooms or bungalows, but there are lounge chairs at the beach and the restaurant has great views.

Pros: Set on a beautiful bay, food very good(according to the Thai's I was with). Staff very friendly and helpful. Totally relaxing! Cons: Beds a little too firm. Water not hot in the shower. Mosquitos can be pesky if there is no wind. For me, the pros defintely outweighed the cons. If you want to explore the island, you will need a motor scooter. Get one when you arrive at the pier. Very cheap. We paid 150 thb per day

The main advantage this hotel of air conditioning in the rooms. But in these rooms is poor sound insulation and noisy of neighbors rooms. I'd prefer to stay in a bungalow.

booked fan only room a bit expensive for this island helpful and nice staff clean room, quiet cozy place. worst element is the food... it is suited for western customer. Thai food is not genuine for example. Although I admit that on this side of the island most clients are westerns.

Hatten ein neueres Bungalow mit Klimaanlage. Kann man über Agoda gar nich buchen. Super Laage ,auch mit grosser Dachterrasse . Das Personal ist super freundlich. Das Restaurant hat eine sehr grosse Dachterrasse, mit einem wundervollen Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Der Strandabschnitt ist wirklich wunder schön und bestens geeignet zum baden. Wir kommen wieder!!

Lage 1a , schön ruhig soweit alles Ok aber, man muss schon Abstriche machen. Keine Zimmerreinigung keine frischen Handtücher, keine Standtücher, keine Schirme kaum Liegen. Für den Preis den sie verlagen bieten sie bis auf die Lage nicht wirklich viel, aber schön war es trotzdem.

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, konnten leider nicht verlängern”

Wir waren ein paar Tage im Resort und konnten nicht verlängern, weil alles ausgebucht war. Die Zimmer im Haupthaus sind toll, auch wenn einmal eine Maus den Weg hinein gefunden hatte (über den Balkon). Jeden Abend toller Sonnenuntergang, nebenan sind Bars, alles was man braucht. Das Restaurant lädt zum Verweilen ein - die Hornbills werden dort gefüttert und man kann sie von ganz nah betrachten. Ein Moped zu haben empfiehlt sich. Wir würden wiederkommen, auch wenn uns 1200 Baht für Koh Phayam etwas teuer erscheinen, aber das liegt daran, dass wir das letzte Mal vor vielen Jahren hier waren, als es nur 1/3 der heutigen Unterkünfte gab. DIe Zeiten ändern sich eben.

Ten eerste had ik persoonlijk email contact met the sun al een halfjaar voor we daar zouden zijn. Ik wou graag een beachfront bungalow. Geen probleem. Eprobeerd een aanbetaling te doen dat lukte niet omdat het rekening nummer niet klopte hier veel over en weer gemaild..Uiteindelijk maar een bungalow geboekt via Agoda dit was niet de gene die we zouden krijgen, maar geen probleem zo ter plaatse geregeld worden en het verschil zouden we daar betalen. Daar aangekomen wist men van niks terwijl ik regelmatig hier over gemaild had. Op de kamer aangekomen geen tv en WiFi wat wel in de beschrijving stond. WiFi voor 150 bath per dag moeten kopen. Ook geen strandhanddoeken voorhanden. Slechte service. Veel loslopende honden. Ook de pick up service die beloofd was ....was er niet..... positief uitzicht en het eten..... Voor mij nooit meer.
