Diamond Beach the best location on Walking Street”

I have been staying at Diamond Beach for years it is not the cleanest hotel however they have renovated the back wing within the past few years and it is much nicer then it used to be. The hotel is in the best location if you are looking to take in the attractions of Walking Street. The staff is attentive and security is good. Book this hotel for the location not the attractiveness of the rooms.

Location can't be better, just seconds from walking street Rooms clean and decent but not great But prices are very good Great for guys wanting to enjoy the nightlife in pattaya Good for sleeping and entertaining guests But if you're looking for a five star hotel with great service and luxury not for you No guest fees Nice view from steps in front of hotel for watching people Close to everything around walking street Short walking distance to anything you need

This is my 3rd time staying at Diamond beach hotel...the staff are very kind and was always very helpful. I'm sure I'll go back when I'm in pattaya...

Very good stay”

The hotel is in the middle of walking street, with loads of bars just outside the hotel doors. The reception-staff har a good attitude, and there was no hassle. There is a pool inside, which no-one uses, and there is a Jacuzzi the roof. It looks ok, and has a good view. My superior room was ok and there was little noise from the streets. The shower could have been better, though. I will use this hotel next time I come for nightlife in Pattaya.

Housekeeping was on point, i liked the fact that they provided security boxes for storing valuable items such as passport, money and jewelry. The downstairs cafe provided a robust menu whuch included an American style breakfast. Laundry service was quick, i had some clothes dropped off in the am and returned that same day before noon. Location of hotel was amazing, right near the middle of walking street. Clubs and resteraunts in either direction and a 7-11 just around the corner for added convenience.

Perfect night life”

Hotel is very suitable for people who arrived to Pattaya to have fun, to party at night, meet girls, etc. Rooms are actually old and worn out, but, taking into consideration the price for room, i would say it's fairly acceptable.

Nice & centrally located in Walking Street. Sea View. Internet is not accessable in the rooms. Only in the lobby. Staff at the counter is not friendlier at all. I have been staying in this hotel for almost 20 times in these 5 years and every time he speaks to all the guest in a roughly manner only. But only value for money & located in Walking street, dont have any other option than choosing this hotel. Service staff are all very friendlier.

Great location”

The hotel is an older hotel but what I appreciated about it is its location. You just can't beat being able to walk to Walking Street in 2 minutes. Also, I must say that the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location for night life and bars”

It was a comfortable room and very quiet once your in your room, we just needed to walk outside to be right in the middle of the night life so it was great and took us minutes to get home after a goon night out! One thing that was not so good was trying to get to the hotel, there is parking at the hotel but not at night time as the road is closed so you have to park in the street and walk in! Was a bit frustrating.....

Excellent stay without hassles”

Location was excellent right on Walking Street . Breakfast was very good. Staff was very amiable and spoke good English . Found the Hotel to be girl-friendly. Overall a nice stay.Would recommend to all.

Cheap Hotel right in the middle of Walking Street”

This hotel is located in the middle of Walking Street. The hotel is surrounded by strip clubs, bars, and a few mediocre restaurants. Google "walking street pattaya" and you'll understand what I'm talking about. The staff was mediocre at best. They were very nice, but had no idea how they should truly act as hotel staff. Their English was poor, but it wasn't a huge problem. They are weird about some things: only 2 towels per room for example. The pool was pretty sad. Breakfast was also pretty sad. There is only one elevator that is old and constantly in use. The room wasn't too bad. Our AC stopped working during our trip so that was annoying. Also, there were a lot of tiny ants around the sink area in the bathroom of our room. We paid 50 bucks a night so I really cant complain about anything.

Near walk street and all nightlife but quiet.Even small indoor pool..Some taxis don't go all way there.Need some renovation but comphortable I like bathtub and clean.

Location is good”

The best thing about this hotel was the location, it is right in the middle of walking street. I was on the 8th floor and I didn't have much of an issue with the noise from the clubs. The hotel is old and could do with some work, some fresh paint, general tidy up, but the room was comfortable for what I wanted and it was ok. I just needed a bed while I checked out some of Pattaya and walking street.

Noisy and tiring. The walls are too thin.”

The fact that this hotel is located centrally on Walking Street you would think it would be more suited to people wanting to go out at night. But from early am it is really hard to sleep in the hotel. The walls are thin and the maids are loud along with other customers. I struggled to get any real sleep from 7/8am onwards and for me personally that kind of ruined my stay. If your going to party probably choose elsewhere. If your going to just relax or sight-see and sleep regular hours this hotel is more than adequate and reasonably priced.

Average Hotel, Awesome Location”

The hotel was pretty much what I expected. It was right in the middle of walking street and surrounded by bars. Trying to get an early night is pretty much impossible... although you can buy ear plugs from the nearby Boots chemist. My floor felt a bit like being in the Middle East, with a lot of Middle Easterners hanging around the hallway most of the time, with their room doors open, chatting to each other. The hallways themselves need some real maintenance, with the suspended ceiling looking like it was about to collapse. The downstairs pool did not appear to be used at all... I even queried whether it actually was a pool or just a large fountain and pond.

You can go and come to and from WS within 7 minutes walk. On the way you can feel Pattayaness, that is, local life. Although there is no wifi (should be, anyway), you can have a breakfast service.

Resonably priced hotel in the heart of the action”

Yet another pleasant stay at the diamond hotel. the staff was friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was nothing special. the air conditioner was old and noisy but not so bad that I complained to staff. The location in the middle of the nightlife area can't be beat.
