Basic hotel with poor response to guest needs
Location shopping and beach
Main problem was lack of positive response to guest needs. Wanted extra bed in room for son and this was denied without reasonable response. As such will not stay at this establishment again.

Basic hotel that meet the requirements.
Centrally located, 3 minutes to beach, swimming pool
Open hallways, free wifi lobby only, nice pool, parking, basic hotel, no air conditioning in public areas, strangely, none of the local Pattaya TV channels are available, no safe in room

Nice boutique hotel by W, the international chain
Very attentive staff and personalized service, great rooms, relaxing rooftop pool area.
Nice amenities like a rooftop pool, nice gym, lounge areas, internet… A lot of hotels in Bangkok do not have that western feeling or small touches like a few western TV channels, and this hotel does. It may not be something you want when traveling Asia or in a foreign country, but when you want it, this boutique hotel provides. There are dramatically cheaper hotels nearby that are clean and decent but not with the service, style and quality that you will find at Aloft. I was the bit surprised to see so many families with kids in a boutique hotel, but Thailand is a family holiday destination. Soi 11 is centrally located with easy access to public transportation system and nice shopping malls so any hotel on the street checks that block. The Hotel has a very popular dance club as well as being located on one of the most popular nightlife and activity streets in Bangkok. Surprisingly, no toiletries are provided i.e. toothbrush, shower cap, etc. Hand held shower heads to spray around the body are fairly standard or expected in Asia, but are not available. Nice small gym with bikes and treadmills for light weight lifting only.

Not bad, not great, somewhere in-between.
close to beach, nightlife & central festival mall..
Nice hotel, was there 10 days, kinda of a 'you get what you pay for' hotel. pillows were rather hard, so whas the bed, A/C works but kinda loud...if your looking for a good cheap stay and you will spend alot of time outside, this is for you... guest friendly.. rooms clean, hot water good..but if your seeking a quiet time, not the place, on 7th floor and still heard the noise of pattaya, but close to the mall, beaches and clubs on soi 8. If your on a budget, stay here, I will stay again while on a budget, lots of russians, rude as usual...

very good with exception of extremley rude female
breakfeast. rooms very clean and location
the hotel generally is very good, with very clean rooms, good buffet breakfeast.the hotel is in the main entertaiment area as eastiny hotel puts it,however for most people it would be classed as the sleeze area. we have two issues with this hotel, one minor and one major. firstly the hotel should provide some comfortable seats for the balconies. our major issue is with the reception staff, they tend to be very rude and abrupt.they certainly have had no customer training and dealing with them can be very unpleasent. strongly reccomend eastiny management to look into this problem

Averageservice as far as room and dining room but
Location,location and location.
I experienced worst ever treatment by the reception stuff in my 50 years travel history at any hotel. With a rough treatment they nearly destroyed my passport and young lady was talking to me like a sadistic prison guard to a prisoner on my arrival....

price, confort
prettty good. They could use a new tv and more channels. it was hard to internet in the room. they should give free internet in rooms. They should serve fresh fruit juice for breakfast instead of those fruit drink which were watered down.
