Poor - avoid
Good price and location, but everything else was poor
Central and convenient location in North Pattaya. as hotels in Pattaya during high season can fill up quickly. Anyway this place seemed to offer good value in the right area. Area is good, but this hotel is shabby. Surly, unhelpful staff, poor rooms (clean but in need of redecoration and upgrade). From the comings and goings I witnessed the hotel seems to be favoured by 'short-time customers'. It's probably OK for an one hour stay, but best avoided for anything longer. Many, many better options nearby....

Definitely not palatial
Five minutes walk to beach, shops and bars
The staff's attitude was so bad at this hotel I thought there must be hidden cameras recording guests' reaction for a candid camera TV show! Over the three days we stayed, I asked three times for a light bulb to be changed - no can do. Despite the pretentious regal name, the room was very basic and grubby, and in dire need of redecoration. The uncomfortable bed, lumpy and saggy, appeared to have seen a lot of action.

Below average hotel
Can't think of any!
First night there mattress was like a piece of precast concrete, noisy air con and mould in bathroom, OK if you like that sort of thing! Second night shifted us to a room near rear of hotel, mattress lumpy but OK, inner spring this time, quiet air con, clean bathroom but about 3 meters away is the compressor/pump house of the Pattaya international hospital, therefore noise all night, noise also from all night bars on the other side of hotel. Located in Naklua/north Pattaya, which is full of pig ignorant Russians, makes for an unpleasant area. Staff friendly enough but don't care. If your looking for a pleasant quiet mid priced hotel don't go here.
