Staying at the Belmond Napasai was just an amazing experience. The property is open and gives you tons of privacy and an amazing beach experience. The food was perfect, as was the service and the recommendations made by the staff. This stay has definitely inspired us to visit other Belmond properties and return to this one when in Koh Samui again.

Excellent resort, amazing service,5 star,expensive”
Our stay at Napasai was truly amazing,the treatment and service was royal. The staff are very courteous and patient. We had booked for sea view hillside cottage but they upgraded us to sea view cottage (closer to the beach and a more expensive room). But it was not right on the beachfront and view was blocked by the roof of another cottage. So we requested for a room change back to the hillside sea view room (which is a much better view and deal), the staff was patient and courteous showed us 2-3 options and shifted us.Our hillside sea view room had a clear sea view where we enjoyed beautiful views of the sunset!!The big pool with a sea view was another plus.It was overall a lovely experience.The attention to detail in setting up the rooms, the evening bed turn down service, notes on the fruits kept in the room shows the difference in quality and worth the higher cost.They have a good collection of dvds, books and great selection of cuisine (thai, french, continental).The hotel layout, cottages spread across, up and down the hillside and beach are beautiful. The free buggy service is always available incase your room is a bit far from the reception or mind the wonderful walk up /down the hill.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Napasai. Firstly, value for money was excellent. The standard of the rooms and villas are of the highest quality, the service was excellent all round. We really enjoyed the long swimming pool, which was great for lap swimming. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was fantastic. We also looked at purchasing one of their two bedroom villas, and was given a tour. However it was a little out of our price range at a lumpy $1.5mill. Highly recommend this place for anyone who needs to realx , wind down and enjoy some quality time with your loved one.

Best hotel we have stayed in South East Asia!”
We stayed at Napasai by Oriental-Express four night and we only have great things to say about this place. We were greeted by the GM and friendly staffs upon arrival. Our room was better than we expected (better than pictures we have seen)and swimming pool and beach were kept very clean. We traveled with our 9-month old daughter and their staffs were great with her and even offered to look after her while we ate breakfast/lunch. We ate most of our meals at the hotel,and all the dishes we had were great. I will highly recommend this place.

The most relaxing place I’ve ever been in Asia. ”
Even the welcome was very impressive by the management. The hotel is far from the bustling place. Ideal anyone who come really relax to Samui. The accommodation is fully prepared for those who do not want to go out hovever would be a misstake to miss the sights of the island. Outstanding cuisine with perfect service. The price is not cheap but include many of the services you shoud pay for in other places such: Internet, sports, early check in and late check out... I recommend to everyone who comes for recreation purpose.

very nice stay for three days,very quiet hotel with private beach, smile service, private villa, a nict place for couples. but we can not get beach front villa, it was a pitty,if stay in beach villa, it is best relaxation in napasai. enjoyed night seafood dinner on the beach, it was very comfortable and romantic.

Wonderful stay”
It was very nice to stay this hotel not only for relaxing but also for some activities. It gave us very cozy and quiet villa with great beach view so that we could make us relaxed whenever and wherever we were in the site. The size of the swimming pool is big enough to enjoy for adults, and it was also nice there was a small bar counter beside it. Overall, this is beach resort which we imagined. Beach was clean but very shallow especially during the morning time so that we could not swim. We never tried during the afternoon but we don’t think it was a good beach for swimming. It’s for seeing and playing with kids. It also gave a variety of activities such as beach volleyball, sea kayaking darts and so on. I would highlight that the staffs are very nice, helpful and well communicated. We remember Khun Sai’s help and support always with her smile. We had really a good time and cannot forget it.

we stayed for 2nights. stuff are very friendly and helpful. Cost was under the promotion . only bad thing is that they had children party from Samui international's kindergarten . its really loud and adults drinks too much. music are not good for slowly location.

great hotel for a quiet, private getaway. rooms were individual cottages that made us feel a world away from anyone else around. great bathrooms and nice staff. the breakfast was very nice. the pool was beautiful and the resort is right on the beach, but it wasn't suitable for long walks on the beach as the resort is secluded by a small stream on one side and rocks on the other.

We stayed 2 nights only but would have loved to stay longer. Had a beachfront suite, very nice location overlooking the sea. Spend the whole time at the resort, it is so relaxing, especially the infinity pool. Had dinner on the beach both nights, was very good, and so was breakfast.

Really just a chain "luxury" hotel. For whatever reason Orient Express Company wanted to have a property in Samui so they put this place up. The villas are on the side of the hill and by the beach. It's quiet and peaceful

A perfect beach retreat”

Not a leading hotel of the world...why?”
- The beach not nice artificel..you will not be able to swim... -The food not good, the breakfast not good -the service not good, they don't even speak english. -The villa seaview, nice view on the beach All in All I will not come back to any orient express. They would like to reduce the cost, and the quality is not here.
