Poor staff performance
Good location
We were lie about construction work hours, it went on all day and night. Small pool with inattentive staff. Front desk not very accommodation. Would not come back to this place again.

food. staff location. (without construction)
No sleep. Promised a quite room with city view Doing subway works and it was extremely noisy. All night!!! I was in tears if tiredness. The staff were brilliant tho. And did move us to a quite for our second night. They are brilliant. But owners need to invest as room smelt fusty and electrics bathroom and fitting very tired and old.

Poor Service. Poor Value. Never Again.
Memorable in the most negative way. Smelly carpet, cracked bathtub that leaked, constantly noisy being smack dab in front of the 24/7 subway construction outside. The worst part is the poor service we received, especially from the front desk staff who were unfriendly, unprofessional, unaccomodating and full of attitude. We will never stay at the Palace again even post construction and would recommend all to look elsewhere before this hotel gets a chance to put a damper on your vacation as they did ours.
