The resort is located at the end of Long Beach. It is in a quiet area and it feels very private and quiet. However, with a 10 minute walk you will find yourself in the busy area of Long Beach where alot of the restaurants and bars are located. So it is perfect if you want to relax during the day and go out at night. The resorts restaurant is located right by the ocean and the view is great both for breakfast and for watching the sunset. Staff is very helpful and friendly. They rent out motorbikes at the resort which is great if you want to explore the island. We had the ocean view room which had a terrace and a big window overlooking the ocean and we will definitely get the same room again next time. I don't really have anything negative to say. Thanks to all of the staff for an unforgettable stay!

Exceptional”

Beautiful bungalow in a shadow of flowering garden. Living options exceeded my expectations but I think that hotel has management problems: 1. check-in procedure starts from counting and signing the list of room equipment, hey I just traveled thousands of kilometers and don't carry too much about how many slippers in the room. I felt like criminal, afraidin of losing something. 2. Breakfast menu is illogical, ex: bread + egg - 3$, egg + jam - 3$, but no option to have bread (2$ as base) + egg (+1$) + jam(+1$ as addition). Good side - staff in restaurant were really friendly and helpful, and if you want to replace your bacon with jam, that wasn't an issue.

Excellent location. Value for money”

It was a very pleasant and romantic stay. Close to the airport, shops, night market and right on the beach. Very clean. We booked a garden view room, but got a free upgrade to a seaview room. The hotel has a very nice restaurant - just right on the beach. The breakfast and lunch menu wasn't that good.- ,however the dinner was great, as they have a good selection of fresh seafood . Friendly staff and overall good service. Also, the place was very quiet and far from a construction site - which was also very important.

Private beach but not guest friendly service”

From the moment we arrived we had a bad experience with the place and staff. The receptionist was in a bad mood and we were charged extra for our second child even though Agoda said two kids below 6 years are included. The charge did only cover the room so breakfast was only for two adults - and only one food from the menu. We were offered free breakfast for our 2nd child if we paid 300.000 dong for the 1st. That is ridiculous - and not guest friendly. Food is not great and it seems the place is mostly for Russians as they speak Russian to greet you in the restaurant. Private beach is good but you have to walk a bit to get to the supermarket and other shops.

Close to the city”

Hotel was clean and had a lot of space. Great bed, nice extremly huge shower, but no locker:( Breakfast was awful, staff very slow, need to repete my orders several times, everything takes forever, but free sunbeds for hotel guest. Surrounded by quite a few restaurants, just a 30 minutes walk to the city, amazing evening market, with great food. On the main street is located several restaurant with a nice options as well. It you looking for a crowded stay, lot of people walking around and like to spent time with locals, this is a good option for you.

Ok for the price, but don’t expect too much ”

The small resort is located at a more quiet part of Long Beach. Their actual beach is quite small, but the restaurant is built half over the water, so you can sit and enjoy the view. However, we were quite disappointed with the restaurant: Food ok, but staff was unfriendly and forgot orders several times. Besides the restaurant, the place is ok if you really want to be AT the beach. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

A good trip for my family”

Everything was good, but if you travel with your kids this time don't forget use insecticides in room before sleep, mosquitos will haunt your kids all night if you don't.

Peaceful and Relaxing 2 magic words”

If you want to really relax in peace, then you found the right place. Staff very nice, clean, beach front view, excellent food, sea with clear waters, but most of all the Mr. TOM the manager, will do everything in his power to make sure that you enjoy the stay, as well as making you “part of the family”. Highly recommended. I will come back for sure.

Quiet place”

The place is quiet, but when the new mall opens it should become busier. he location is right on the "beach" but "beach" can be a relative term. Locals may find the water satisfactory for swimming(wife swam there), but for someone from Hawaii, it leaves a lot to be desired. Water is brown with a good amount of trash sweeping in from the ocean,(not the hotels fault but maybe the owner could have picked a better location for building The room was nice and clean. Although the water pressure is seriously lacking.One thing I dont like is cleaning ladies cleaning my room. They should offer a sign for the door to say "No cleaning needed". I always feel invaded when staff go in my room. The location is 100vnd from the airport, but 100vnd from any place worthwhile. My advice for those coming to PQ is stay in the general area of "BaiSao Beach". VERY clean waters and white white sands. Because the hotel is more "local". Local standards apply. When locals smoke and throw cigarette butts right at the eating tables and beachfront, the staff doesn't even blink. No way I could let baby walk on the beach, not from trash but from local smokers throwing cigarette butts everywhere.

Bad entry path, rock cuts your leg”

We came to the resort when it was raining, and had to wait in the taxi for half an hour. There was no way to get to the room without getting wet, help from the staff was little. The entry path was dusty dirty full of garbage. When swimming the rock under the water can cut your leg if you are not pay attention.

Middle of a building site”

Extensive building work on hotel extension under way. So noisy from 07:00 and no road/taxi access. On arrival / departure the options of access are either along the beach or to scramble though unlit, unpaveded waste ground. Room clean and tidy, food basic and poor value to subsidise free beach chair/bed non resident use.

Dump”

Our experience was realy realy bad. Had to pay for 8 nights due to reservation, stayed 2 nights. Is was a dump, the Beach was full of garbage, old Sun chairs - and the Wales so Big that theres was no Beach left. The restaurant was almost closed down, furnituere in one big pile, everything was wet! The room was moisry... like everything there. The Road goung down to the resort was dark and wery dirty and not at all inviting. The place should have been close down for reservation this rime of year... we are so sorry that we went. It bechamel very pricy for us, and we kost good days of our Vacation.

a surprisingly good resort”

the resort just by the beach so we dont need to go anywhere else, just stay in resort and relax. Room is clean and cosy, we do have really good sleep there. Staffs are friendly and helpful Definitely i will introduce to all my friends who have idea to go to Phu Quoc !

Für kurzen Aufenthalt ganz gut”

Meine Freundin und ich waren 2 Tage im Freebeach Resort. Es war OK. Sehr nah am Meer wobei der Strand an vielen großen Steinen liegt. Die Zimmer waren auch OK. Man konnte die Badtür nicht verschließen. Am Bad Fenster war kein Vorhang sodass man reinschauen hätte können, wir habens mit Handtücher abgedeckt. Personal in Ordnung. Alles in allem ganz Ok. Aber der Weg zum Hotel ist furchbar. Müllberge gestank und keine vorhandene Straße. Achso das Frühstück ist naja. Omelette ganz okay. Ist halt ein frühstück a la carte

Top Lage ”

Die Lage ist super. Jedoch ist der Strand Abschnitt klein und nicht sehr gepflegt. konzentriert man sich auf den Blick zum Meer ist alles gut. links und rechts sieht es nicht einladend aus. Am letzten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes sind dann sogar die Auflagen für die liegen geliefert worden. Essen wird ein wenig lieblos zubereitet und Personal spricht schlecht englisch.

Besuch im Free Beach Resort”

Saubere und große Zimmer, spartanisch aber völlig ausreichende Einrichtung. Das Free Beach hätte sehr großes Potential eine kleine Hotelanlage mit viel Charm zu werden, jedoch sind die Mitarbeiter völlig überfordert, dies zeichnet sich durch schlechten Service, sehr schlechte Englisch Kentnisse.Die Bar ist zugleich die Rezeption an welcher pures Chaos herrscht, Essensbestellung werden vergessen oder die Wahrscheinlichkeit ist sehr hoch dann das falsche Essen zu bekommen, zudem können wir nur empfehlen die Quitungen zu prüfen, den auch diese sind zum Teil sehr fehlerhaft (Bsp. Essen oder Getränke werden abgerechnet, die man nicht konsumiert hat). Zudem leider sehr unhöfliche Abfertigung bei auschecken.Abschließen möchten wir dennoch erwähnen, dass es ein oder zwei Mitarbeiter gibt die sich durchaus sehr freundlich und ambitioniert sind, aber leider dennoch im völligen Chaos untergehen.

Dit hotel is schoon ,zeer comfortabel en gezellig. Mooie en verzorgde tuin en zeer vriendschappelijk personeel . Wat mij het meest plezierige waren, waren de grote panoramische zee en tuin uitzicht vanuit het balcon.
