Nice Location”
Stayed one night. The hotel is older but well maintained. The pool was not open at the time I was there but the Onsen was nice and the staff was friendly and courteous.

Relaxing Hotel with Everything you Need”
Great, HUGE hotel! Lots of Spa options from massages, FREE onsen, private paid onsens, a large pool (extra pay) and several restraint options. I really liked the breakfast and dinner buffet - great mix of Japanese food with some western options thrown in too. CLose to Aso Train station. The Hotel was a bit worn down with some water leakage in the halls, but it is the rainy season right now. The room smelled a little moldy in the entrance, but again it was VERY wet outside and the AC helped a lot.

Comfy hotel”
It took around 20 minutes walk from the train station. A bit far but not difficult to locat the hotel. Taken the package of Dinner and Breakfast included. Dinner buffet was a suprise with great variety of food from appetizers to desserts. Breakfast was up to standard as well. The room is much bigger comparing to normal Japanese hotel rooms. Clean and comfy. Bathroom is small though. There are 3 hot spring locations avaliable within the hotel area. Its not far fr the Cuddly Dominion (Zoo). Its just 5-10 min walk. Its a good choice to stay with when planning to visit Mt. Aso and Cuddly Dominion.

Facilities a bit old, hotel is trying the best to uphold the standard but needs to work harder. Talking about cost effectiveness, this hotel is still a good choice if you are going to stay at Aso.

Good location in Aso area”
The hotel is quite close to the Aso theme park, so if you plan to visit the theme park and Aso area, it is a good choice for you. However, I highly suggest you should rent a car if you plan to stay there, as it is in a very remotes mountain area.

Excellent customer service and facilities”
The facilities (onsen and restaurant) are great for a relaxing stay. Customer service is excellent. We were travelling with an infant and booked the 2 adults plus 1 child rate. After our stay, the hotel contacted us that infants stay free of charge and refunded us the difference. This is a pleasant surprise as the hotel could have just kept silent on this. Very grateful and happy with the service.

Thanks to a hotel staff, Lee Sun Ae, who provided a few tips helping enjoying the hotel with Korean language. Beer and food after onsen at the bar was very much enjoyable.

Overpriced and poor value for money”
Location is out of Aso and about a 15 minute walk from the station. Check-in and dealing with reception was not easy due to the limited amount of English speakers available. We requested a non-smoking room, but it was quite apparent that someone had been smoking in the room. Air conditioning was barely adequate and did not remove the smell. Spa facilities were dated, but usable. Buffet style breakfast which catered for all tastes and was of a good standard. The standard of service and quality of the hotel was way below the price paid. Recommend that you look elsewhere.

Big hotel with nice indoor and outdoor baths”
The hotel has many blocks and a few open baths for hotel guests, we also like the Japanese dishes of the buffer breakfast, especially the raw local eggs for putting on steamed rice, very much.

The hotel has a late 80's and early 90s feel to it. Overall positive experience. Maybe because we stayed during low season, parts of the hotel including restaurants, rest areas, tertiary onsen baths or pools were closed off.

Hotel standard ”
We stayed for 1 night. The place is great, they have pool, onsen, sauna and the room is big they have tatami space too. My only concern is my pillow, it has smell I think they forgot to change the cover. But overall I recommend it for those travelers in Kumamoto.

Good choice for a stay in Aso”
The resort is quite big, providing its onsens and indoor pool which are nice. It's bit dated, but facilities are well maintained. Room is sizable and well kept. Breakfast is buffet with quite a lot of choices.
