Location is great with bar and restaurant. We love being able to use the gym and swimming pool and such a lovely loaction. Unfortunate that there is no basic cooking supplies such as an electric trying pan. I found the cleaning fumes from the bleach far too potent, the smell of the chemicals aggravated my eyes and nose. ...so my suggestion would be to use less potent chemicals.
Beautiful and friendly staff”
My mum and I had a good stay there. The resort is beautiful and very pleasant, the staff are helpful and friendly. Facilities is good. Suitable for ppls who wanna have a relaxing and peaceful holiday.
the cooking facilities were not working, gave a ring to front office in after office hour. Staffs are helpful and patient. Very outstanding performance. They provide us another room to use the cooking facilities which i am very much appreciated their attitude to customers.
Lovely Swiss resort in Aussie”
The resort is lovely. It has a very swiss feel, given the alpine like chalet. The chalet was comfortable and the food in the restaurant was gorgeous!! :) My kids loved the resort, the pond with the swans, etc.
Very nice location
Good location, 5 mins drive to supermarket, good condition”
Room are space enough, parking next to your lodge, good condition of the villa
Second time we have stayed. Just lovely 😊
Location good , good facilities and surrounded environment ”
The lodge is small for 2 bed rooms for 4 persons . TV place on top of fridge can't even see when sit down.
Fantastic wilderness getaway”
We loved our stay here - the room where we stayed was simple but beautifully appointed and very clean. The bed was really comfy and we wished we could take the pillows with us! the staff were super lovely and helpful and the restaurant food was fabulous. We only wished we had booked more than one night there. Loved the serenity - very relaxing
Great Northern Tasmania jumping off point”
Stayed at the Resort on entry to and again on departure form Tasmania. Great resort, good facilities and a comfortable place to explore the northern part of Tasmania before heading off to the South. Facilities, including the restaurant were terrific. I would gladly stay here again
Our two nights were excellent. We like the fact that it is quick and easy to get to interesting places like vineyards, coffee shops and gorgeous scenery. We would go again. This time we had a smaller cabin than we have had before. It had not table, and we had to watch TV from the bed. But we would go again.
Need to have more staff on check in desk when you know it is going to be a full house. Why on earth would you make people wait almost 30 minutes to check in with one person on the desk? Not a great first impression. I feel the resort is tired and in need of an update. The beds in the villa were very hard, not at all comfortable.
We loved the wildlife and the Swiss village. A quaint place to stay. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer to make use of the paddleboats and putt putt - maybe next time. We had some trouble with our refrigerator and a serviceman attended to it very promptly. Our cabin was equipped with air conditioning that kept us noce and cosy. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Lovely setting ”
The resort itself is picturesque and very pleasant, the staff helpful and friendly and facilities good. The room left a lot to be desired as it was not designed for functionality. Very cramped with not much room between furniture to move. The bathroom appears to have been designed with not much but aesthetics in mind - owners should spend the night!
A small village”
Bad: very poor mobile reception. Good: jumping pillows, golf, a ship wreck which you can climb, bistro, salon, a lookout etc, you would get basically everything here, lots of fun in such an peaceful place.
Comfortable, but a little noisy”
Generally a comfortable stay, with plenty of on-site conveniences. Only a few minor gripes. The heater/AC unit did not work, and needed to be fixed (which they did without hassle). I was given a small 'attached' cabin, connected to a duplex style apartment that evidently had a couple of kids playing on the stairs of the adjacent apartment into the evening. Would have been nice to have a bottle opener in the room.
Pretty ngood value.”
We found our stay to be pleasant and comfortable. If you are staying in the hotel it is more comfortable than one of the bungalows as we tried both and were more happy with the hotel room. Possibly a bit far from Launceston city bit that depends on what you are looking for as it is situated about halfway down the Tamar valley. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and there is a quant village type feeling with a fresh bakery amongst lots of other attractions. Great with the kids.
beautiful surroundings, basic accommodation”
Located in beautiful Tamar Valley. It seemed like there were activities for the kids. The place and the surrounding looked beautiful. Inside, everything was pretty basic but clean and simple. The rooms had unpleasant smell though.
Nice resort in Swiss-style village”
My stay was pleasant, the resort is set in a swiss-style village and has a beautiful surrounding area. There is a wonderful chocolate shop/cafe in the village that makes amazing pancakes, there are a few other nice shops, and it has a good putt-putt golf and 9-hole golf course. Room was large but requires some updating as there were a few cracks in the walls, and the shower is very small but this is just a minor issue.
Relaxing 2 days”
We enjoyed the stay at the Aspect Tamar Valley Resort. The only let down was the meal, which we pre booked, were seated and then the waitress forgot to give our order in, and an hour later we still had now meal. Upon a approaching the manager he said they had been very busy, but again we had booked, surely patrons books their meal should be served first?
