Good location, difficult to check in”
This is not a hotel but a leasing condo. Front desk does not treat check-in process. You need to call a manager to check-in. Location is excellent. the unit has nice view.

Once you have called the manager you are met in reception and showed to the unit where the use of the free WIFI, Smart internet TV, microwave etc are explained. The manager also points out the various restaurants on site and the amenities. The manager is then available 24 hours a day to assist you should the need arise.

Head in the clouds”
Loved this apartment when we woke up we were surrounded by clouds and could not see a thing from the balcony then as the sun came up the clouds lifted and the volcano rose up out of the lake. A great experience for a city boy like me. Views from the balcony are fantastic. The apartment is on the top floor of the tallest building in Tagaytay and the building is set on top of the cliff over looking the lake so you see not only the lake and volcano but also the surrounding mountains and countryside. At night time you can see city lights but not sure if that was Manila or not. The apartment is modern and clean as is the building. On the ground floor there is a cash machine, a Taiwanese cafe and a Pizza Hut. Across the street there are a few Filipino restaurants which appeared very popular with the locals and a short walk either up or down the hill finds more restaurants and a Starbucks. You will never go hungry here as they cater for all tastes and if you do not want to eat out there is also a large supermarket close by selling US brands. Jeepneys stop outside the building which makes it easy to get around. Jeepneys are an adventure in themselves. Both the locals and staff at Wind are friendly and willing to help. Security is also great with guards and cctv and the apartment is private and secure. It felt as if we had the whole floor to ourselves. Overall very positive experience.

Nice to stay, everything maintained ”
This condo unit is great, everything was clean and maintained. Nearby to malls and restaurants. The view of the taal was fantastic, you will feel the cold breeze in the balcony As we stayed on the 22th floor. Toilet is clean and the caretaker gave us free toiletries. Only the bedroom is too bright specially in the morning as no curtains in the glassdoor of the balcony. They should put atleast dark color curtains so the guess can sleep nicely.

My stay at the Aspen of the Wind”
nice location but within the premises not enough places to eat or dine. Luckily there are restaurant from nearby hotels and across the road. Amenities like the swimming pool should be free of use as we are guest in the house. Parking should be free to all the guest or who have check in at the Tower residences.

Stayed with my husband and with my daughter last M”
Stayed with my husband and with my daughter last May 28, 2016 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a good time at Aspen at Wind. The location is quite difficult to find. We were able to locate the place immediately BUT the guards on duty told us that the place is not Aspen. So we had to locate the place for about an hour. So we wasted an hour just to locate the place. We insisted the guards to check at the reception and finally they let us in. The place was quite pricey. Though, we were glad that the place was really nice. Very clean. Everything is being provided from toiletries to kitchenettes. The staff, Letty, was very helpful. We felt so homey at Aspen. We felt like we don't like to leave so soon. My daughter said, Aspen At Wind is our 2nd house. We will definitely go back again. And I will recommend this place to my family and friends. Thanks Jazz for the wonderful stay.

Fabulous apartment and view”
Had a great vacation stop over in Tagaytay at Aspen in Wind. The location was perfect, the top floor in the tallest building in Tagaytay directly overlooking Taal lake and volcano so an amazing view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. Everything you need is either on-site - 7-11, Pizza Hut a European cafe/deli, a Taiwanese cafe, a bank a laundry and even a hardware store! a short walk up the hill you have Starbucks and a supermarket. Jerrys Grill is across the road and a short walk down the hill offers loads of other restaurants. Jeepneys stop just outside the site so it is easy to get out and about if you don't want to walk. We took a motor tricycle to the boat pier to get to the volcano which was great fun. The apartment is great very bright and clean and everything is brand new. We had no problems with the water heater which is easy to adjust as is the air-con and digital microwave. We are from CA but not tech gurus but you don't need a degree in rocket science to operate anything in the apartment and Miss Letty shows you how to operate everything on arrival. If you do like your tech toys this place has a great Smart TV with strong internet and a variety of cable channels such as HBO for movies. We used our Netflix account. It also has international adapters. If you are on the large side you may find it small for two people but we would say we are a normal size US couple and as we travel in Asia often we are not shocked by a 36 Sqm condo. The site has indoor and outdoor pools, darts, pool table, badminton, tennis and basketball courts. There is a small charge to use them but its no big deal. The facilities are there if you want to use them but in Tagaytay you come for the views and the breeze both of which are amazing. We just chilled on the balcony all day. Waking up to be surrounded by mist and watching the clouds lift to reveal the lake and volcano for us was a unique experience.

Not what it appears to be”
The pictures and ammenities look great, but the pictures are deceiving. The unit is very small. The hot water unit in the shower was not adjustable so the hot water was only luke warm. There is a kitchen shown leading you to believe you can cook there. But there is no stove. So you can only make rice, or toast. There is a microwave but is is not adjustable and you can only use 15 or 30 seconds, or 1 minute. Not really useable. I had to call maintenance to even get it to work as it was not working when we first arrived. The refrigerator had food in it left from a previous guest. Other items left in the unit were old and had mold. We threw them away. The TV was not working when we arrived. They tried to program it. The instructions given for operation were poor. We could not get a picture, only sound. I gave up after two days. No written instructions for anything. I am on vacation. I do not want to take a course on how to program the TV and satellite. The A/C worked at first then stopped working. I complained. A maintenance worker came to fix it. The fix lasted about 2 hours then started making loud clicking noises keeping us awake all night. I complained again the next day. After we left the management tried to claim we put ice cubes in the unit. Idiotic claim. There are no taxis in Tagaytay. Be prepared to walk everywhere unless you have your own car. Noise from the road was loud. Do not expect peace and quiet until about 1 AM. No laundry facilities as was claimed. No restaurant, no food store. When I complained about misleading statements in the list of amenities I was told that there are restaurants within walking distance and a 7 Eleven was available for food. No swimming pool is available unless you want to pay 150 pesos per person to swim every time. Pizza hut, within walking distance, was awful. Sky Ranch was nearby but I had to hire a car for 5000 per day to get around town. If you will hire a car do not use WOW Philippines unless you want to be financ
