Aspen Court Taihape was a refreshing surprise. Immaculate and modern yet cosy. Very comfortable stay. Bonus purpose built carpet covered luggage rack for two bags was inspirational. Aspen Court is very well thought out for travellers. I was very impressed.

Perfect Place for a Stopover”
We booked the Aspen Court Taihape for one night mainly because of its location. We'd booked a horse ride at River Valley Stables and figured we'd prefer to stay the night in the area rather than drive to Palmerston North (our next destination), especially after having driven to Taihape from Napier (via Gentle Annie) that morning. So all we were looking for was a place to stay the night. What we got at Aspen Court Taihape was a bonus. Underfloor heating and the jacuzzi tub were unexpected extras.

Lovely hotel with large room and great service”
we passed through taihape on the way to wellington staying only one night which was a shame because the hotel was lovely. it was a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. both were very clean. the service was great with the hotel manager organising access to our room even at 11.30pm at night and even left us milk for coffee the next morning. we will definitely stay again on our next trip to nz, this time for a few days.

the best motel in NZ”
Out of the 14 motels visited in the last 6 weeks Aspen Court is the only one where the free WiFi worked, the room was spacious, the bathroom was modern and shower worked correctly. We were genuinely welcomed and felt at home.

Good stndard for a transit motel with all comforts”
Stayed one night in transit from Queenstown to Auckland. Pleasant motel with good quality chattels. Internet problem with free wi - fi - not reliable. Nobody told us about the trains during the night. Apart from this the standard was very good for a small quiet town. Remember to top up gas before desert road, long drive with no gas stations.

A really great motel to stay ”
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next time we are travelling further north. Helps break up the trip with kids and a nice large space for the family. Only issue, the toilet wasn’t flushing and the cistern needs replacement.

We thought the motel was very clean and very suitable for our needs BUT I had a shower about 8:45 working on a exit by 10am when I came out in my top and undies was one of your cleaning staff there who had come in and was in the process of stripping the bed until she caught sight of me in my undies and hastily said sorry and left. This was a bit disconcerting and was not good enough Could not comment on food as we didn't have any.
