Nice Experience but Front office staff too blunt and impolite otherwise very good hotel to stay ”
They are very strict for check in check out time Rooms cleaning for the next guest takes too long and check in guests are kept waiting for long
Everything was good but the bed rock hard.
Good and friendly. ”
General the hotel is good, staffs are so friendly, the location is a bit far from bts but there is hotel tuk tuk to take us to the street where located close to bts, morning breakfast is boring as everyday the same and not many option to choose.
Overnight stay in Bangkok”
Aspen is a nice hotel with friendly and accommodating reception staffs! It is near Ploenchit station and near nana plaza. good location for tourists. the only concern I had is the traffic around the area! wasted more or less an hours just to get in/out of the area.
As repeat patrons we are very happy to stay here with excellent value for money. Water pressure in the shower could be improved. The executive room is very spacious. Aircon works well. good location and have free tuk-tuk transport. Breakfast was good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. Free parking and the security guard is always helpful. We would stay in this hotel again.
The staff is always excellent. Very reasonable and even late night the tuk tuk is available for being picked up at Ploenchit. Rooms are big too. The only downside is the flow of water onto the bathroom floor from the bath tub
Okay but not good”
We stayed in a suite. The washbasin was chocked and very little water was floating through it. No body bothered to fix it. The staff was rude. I had asked for the cab to Airport, the price they offered was very high and said that they do not allow any other vehicle to pick you up from the reception. Only their own vehicle can do it. Then I had to walk to the road with my luggage and then caught a taxi to the Airport. Rooms were small and smelly. Air conditioning was hard to control as the controller was not working properly.
A bit dated and on a very dirty street. ”
It’s on a very dirty street. Staff were ok. I wanted extra towels one night and was told no. I didn’t get fresh towels at all another day and the room service person was very rude bringing them to me. The bathroom/tub is dirty and old. However if all you want is to be by Nana on the cheap it’s fine.
Good Location, nice staff”
The hotel was in a very good location, on a quiet street, and very close to the BTS. The hotel offers the shuttle service to drive the guests to the main street from the hotel, saving the guests from walking. Good breakfast. The room was nice too, big and comfy. Happy to go back again.
Friendly staff, the room is spacious and clean. Quick respond to our room air condition water leaking even at the middle of the night.
Excellent Services & Best Rates”
Nice Valuable Aspen In Room Services & Good Breakfast
Needed somewhere close to the center”
Close to the location we required; Tuk Tuk to the top of the road was good. Room was a v. good size; dated but not worn or broken. Nice sized separate dressing room Had free parking WiFi was good Big TV and CD player, with desk for work Bed was big and firm Good enough Breakfast choice
Nice hotel with a big room”
It was a nice hotel with big rooms. Breakfast selection is wide and enough to fill up your tummy before you start venture out. One female staff in the cafe is very friendly and doing best to give her best service possible. Though the hotel is deep inside Soi 2, their tuk tuk service compensate this downside. You can find a tasty local food stall by the road which serves delicious Thai food at a really reasonable price. I went there 3 times for their pad thai and Tomyam Gung. Fabulous!!
Nice, clean hotel with good service from the staff. The rooms were quite big as well. Location is not too bad, less than 10 min walk from Nana and other watering holes nearby and also is guest friendly.
Always welcome at Aspen”
I regularly use Aspen as my base when I have to come to BKK. At a stone throw from the BTS it is a very convenient place to stay. There are many hotels in BKK more luxurious than Aspen but it will be a perfect place for business appointment
The hotel is in a excellent area, it is close to night life. hotel as a tuk tuk service that take you to the main street. staff is very helpful and respectful. I like to give a special thanks to Mony and house keeping, they made my enjoyable
Great little hotel with staff who even remembered me from a few years ago”
Check in was smooth and I even got an upgrade to a larger room, nice bed, nice room can't comment on breakfast because I skipped it, very quiet location, didn't hear any outside noise whatsoever, would stay again. Glad I tried it again, usually after an absence of a couple of years I find hotels quality has gone down. Not this time, well maintained hotel
Nice place in a quiet location for this part of town. Due to unforseen circumstances I wanted to check out after 1 night, the gentleman at reception kindly agreed to refund the rest of my pre-booked stay even though it was a non refundable booking. Confirmed via telephone call from agoda within the hour. Many thanks
Some pros and cons”
Pros: - Staff - Big bed - Good price (if not regular price) - Free breakfast is good - Free tuk tuk to main road - Clean - Location for quiet environment Cons - Slow internet connection (download speed often equal and sometime less than 2mbps, upload speed almost always under 1mbps). 10 years ago it was good... - Location: closest 7-11 at 8 minutes walk if you don't take the free tuk-tuk. Before it was possible to cross from Sukhumvit 2 to Nana Tai Alley but now you can't because of construction. - Free tuk-tuk end at 11pm or before Will stay there again if they improve internet speed
I have nothing to complain about the hotel. It's clean, comfortable with big rooms, good food and friendly staff. They also provide you a free tuk tuk to pick you up and drop you off at the main road, otherwise you'd have to walk for a bit to get in the shops and the public transport.
