Lovely hotel, good location and value for money”
After tedious search on internet, decided on Aspen. Booked 2 nights stay and hastily left out request for NON-smoking room. But subsequently forwarded omitted request thru Agoda’s thoughtfully designed portal. On arrival, was pleasantly surprised and relieved that request was faithfully forwarded and received. At check-in, staff at reception was mindful of the non-smoking request, helpful and polite. Fastest check-in I have experienced (large hotels usually take longer) settled in room on the 3rd floor within minutes. NO evidence of cigarette smell in room. Nice clean air! The Superior room was spacious, clean, with a warm cosy feel, just as pictures on the website. Room better equipped than equally priced hotels, e.g. microwave, pantry and dining area, nice mini hi fi. Everything was in good working order except for the safe box. Notified reception in the morning and technician promptly replaced the safe that could not be repaired. Breakfast serving was just right, not excessive, thus leaving appetite to explore and savour Bangkok’s best food for lunch and dinner. There are 2 BTS stations, Nana and Pleon Chit some 500 meters or 10-minute walk from Aspen, however the free regular tuk tuk service to main road cuts walking by half. Despite being so near to the nightlife of Sukhumvit, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. As regular visitors to Bangkok, we found Aspen at Suk Soi 2 ideal as shopping, food and entertainment centers are within easy reach by walking, BTS and/or taxi. Love the location. Extended our stay and enjoyed 3 blissful nights at the Aspen. Found firmness of bed just right. Will certainly consider Aspen on our next visit to Bangkok. Great value for money.

Excellent hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms.”
I enjoyed my 5 nights at the Aspen Suites Hotel. The suite was so comfortable, clean and quiet that I was happy to return to it after a day of meetings in Bangkok. It's proximity to the Sukhumvit line (Sky Train) makes for easy travel around the city. It's proximity to Sukhumvit Road speaks for itself. I really must emphasise that the staff is tremendously friendly and helpful. They greeted me warmly everytime I arrived at the hotel, and wished me well when I departed. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone desiring to stay multiple nights in a comfortable, affordable room where one is assured of a good night's sleep, yet wishing to be relatively close to the city's famous night life.

Spacious & Quiet”
Check out after a 4 day stay in Aspen Suites. Huge room with all amenities. Small kitchen, flat screen TV, Safety Box and computer area. Lan cable system fast enough for a travellor. WiFi is only good on the ground floor. Free breakfast is very good and they cook the eggs to your liking. Thats a bonus from the Bay Maree style. My only gripe about the breakfast is not the hotel's fault. It's a very rude Japanese man who sounds louder than a pig when eating. The swimming pool has been very refreshing if not a little cold because of the lack of exposure to sunlight. However it has got my body temperature down to normal after walking around. The most noteable thing I have noticed is the quietness within the hallway. The only 2 gripes that I have is the lack of water pressure in the shower. Very poor. Also be very careful when having a shower as the bath tub is very slippery. The hotel should supply non slip mats as a safety precaution. The staff are super friendly and courtious. The Shuttle will offer you a free lift up to Sukhumvit road and pick you up for a return ride if you need it. The hotel is located about 500 mtrs away from Sukhumvit road. The room is clean and well laid out. Would I stay here again. Most definately.

A REALLY LOVELY AND FRIENDLY HOTEL”
This is a very nice and extremely friendly hotel. I moved to it at short notice after a disastrous booking at another hotel in Bangkok ( see my other review ). I was impressed by the eagerness of the staff, and in particular the manager, to help, and try to provide the absolute best service that they could. It’s a relatively small hotel, and its atmosphere benefits greatly from this. The rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished, and housekeeping is very good. I will have no hesitancy in using the hotel again, and in recommending it to you and my friends. The breakfast is inclusive and adequate, and they have an a’la carte system to ensure that your eggs are cooked beautifully to your own personal taste, though I would only suggest as a constructive suggestion, that they could perhaps give consideration to providing a slightly wider selection, as I found the selection as a westerner a little limited. But really this is ‘nitpicking’, in the whole picture of Aspen Suites. It is not im

A cosy homely hotel, away from the noisy main road”
It's my first time staying in Sukhumvit area after coming to Bangkok for the 4th time. It's a good bearable distance taking its nearest BTS PloenChit to Chatuchak Market (Mo Chit BTS). My friend and I however, didn't fancy trying to avoid many potholes and uneven walking pavements to the BTS station. At times we disliked having to walk 8-10 mins deep into our hotel after carrying alot of purchases from the BTS. (we didnt feel like hagging with any tuktuk drivers) Having previously stayed in Silom/Surawong area, the area around the Aspen Suites hotel or even the main road is not as exciting. Less for KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King towards the Nana area. We managed to find a great spa in Sukhumvit Soi 1 for a comfortable foot massage. Our first contact with a closest shopping mall/ office building was Ploenchit Centre. The reception is quite okay, but moving into the small cafe (where we had our breakfast) is pretty small.. there are 2 very tiny lifts which go to different floors. Going into our room, we had some difficulty using the room card as we were confused with the card design. We tried swapping in/out with the arrow on the card. But in the end we figured out we have to get the chip on the card into the door. Though there were some instructions on the card, but we thought it should be quite user friendly. When we enter the room and tried placing the card to switch on everything in the room, the card had to be inserted in another direction... Generally we are very satisfied with the room. It has a nice kitchen area, microwave oven etc, but without the pots/ pans. Beds are nice and comfortable blankets. There's a nice big TV LCD screen with a DVD player. The washroom was relatively ok, except the shower temperature isn't that consistent. There was no toothbrushes provided... hairdryer is provided hanging from the wall. Breakfast is considered okay for me but boring for my friend due to the variety. If not wrong there were about 8 hot dishes that included b

Great rooms with large bedroom and bathroom”
We stayed 7 nights at the Aspen Suites and found it to be a great clean boutique hotel with friendly staff. The junior suite which we stayed in was massive, large bed and bedroom, great bathroom, good sized living area and kitchenette. We found the pool to be really cold as it does not get too much sun, but it was refreshing all the same after a hard day of pounding the pavement in Bangkok. It is at the end of a small soi off sukhumvit road but close to hualompong and nana train stations. The breakfast could have a little more variety but the chef will happily cook your eggs to order as you wish. We would consider staying in this hotel again.

Solid Accomodations Right Next to the Action”
this was my second stay at the aspen suites in the past few months and while the agoda rate wasn't as good as the first time it was still a good deal in that neighborhood. the main selling points of this hotel are the relatively big rooms and new furnishings, a lack of hidden charges, and its location. despite being very close to nana plaza and sukhumvit road, aspen suites is quiet too as it is a short walk down a dead-end soi (hotel offers free tuk-tuk shuttle service). while the pool is too small to swim laps, there is a small gym with all the basics - running machine, stationary bike, a few weights and some nautilus-type equipment. staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is basic but fresh.

Nice quiet hotel”
This was my first stay at the Aspen. For a single traveler like me this hotel was great. This hotel in close to the sky train and there is a mall at the end of the street with a small market to help fill up my fridge. I got a great price for this size and type ($60 Superior size room) of room in BKK. The size of the room was perfect for me and when I had a guest it was also nice having a king size bed. The free breakfast was nice but nothing special. It was nice having use of the hotel tuk-tuk shuttle, but I walked most of the time to Sukhumvit Soi 2 since it was only a five minute walk for me. The staff is very helpful, I only had a few minor problems and they were quickly solved to my satisfaction. This hotel is still fairly new and it feels and looks like it like it. I plan on staying here at the Aspen on my next visit to Thailand.

Good quality hotel”
i stayed 2 nights in aspen suites hotel for the end of my trip in thailand. the location is great, in a quiet soi, near the bts and all commodities, and near the big malls (mbk, central world, siam square). the staff was really helpful and professional. the room was clean, spacious with a king size bed, a bath, large screen tv, internet (ethernet), hair-dryer, safety-box and ac. the breakfast is really good with a lot of different food (thai, international) and beverages. free wifi in common parts and 2 computers connected in the lounge part. really good and prices are fair.

Great value”
Aspen Suites Sukhumvit 2 by Compass Hospitality is a good hotel. The rooms are a decent size with kitchenettes suitable for cooking and eating all your meals in the room. The staff is friendly. The hotel restaurant is clean and has several a la carte offerings that are tasty and cheap. The location is a 5-minute walk to Nana Plaza or a small mall with a supermarket in the basement. At night you won't have a problem sleeping because it is very quiet. So what is bad about the hotel? The cardio equipment in the hotel gym either doesn't work or is dangerous (the treadmill). The mattresses on the beds could be better although I slept well on what I had. Room decor needs to be updated. Overall it is a great value which is why I've stayed with them 3 times now.

Aspen Suites, Nana Bangkok”
This is my third stay at Aspen Suites, and it is still a highly recommended hotel for anyone to stay at. The hotel has a gym and pool, free breakfast, free internet. The rooms are modern, with a nice flat screen TV and CD player/audio system. The staff there is also very helpful and friendly. The only minor con I can say, is the hotel is a few minutes walk away from the main road of Sukhumvit, but honestly that is a very minor complaint - most of the day, there is a tuk-tuk service that will take you to the main road, and the hotel is already located nearby two of the BTS skytrain systems. All in all, another very positive experience for me.

Good for a stay for families.”
Sukhumvit is much at the center of the Bangkok and has a sky train line itself by the name Sukhumvit Line. Although some 10 mins walk to the main road, the location of the facility is peaceful and good for families (they provide free tuk tuk ride to the main road 7am to 11pm daily). There's an Egyptian restaurant opposite to the Hotel entrance and much of a help to the Indian foodies as we all are familiar with and prefer Arabic foods too. We stayed in an Executive Room and that was too spacious, very well designed and almost an apart hotel room without utensils (upon request). Bathrooms need more care. Slippers were not provided in Executive Room!! Keep a map of the Bangkok handy for travel. It's easy and busy both but really enjoyable. We enjoyed street food at Chatuchak Market, must mention and did some super bargain shopping there. Only hire metered taxis and pay by meter. Private car lifts are good help for full day trips at an agreed pay for families and they take good care too. Several of them are available outside the Aspen Suites near the entrance.

Aspen Suites Cudos”
My stay in late March, 2010 was my second at the Aspen Suites. The rooms are spacious with a large tv and dvd player. The king size bed is very comfortable. The delicious buffet breakfast has both western and asian food with made to order eggs. I have stayed in both the standard and deluxe rooms. They have the same floor plan but for me the standard room is more than sufficent in size. The hotel is located on Sukhumvit Soi 2 and is just a short walk to the BTS skytrain and the Nana entertainment complex.

Adelphi Suites, Sukhumvit 8”
We arrived at Aspen Suites at 11.30am. Waited till 12.30pm and room still not ready. Went to lunch and came back at 1.30pm. We were told room was unavailable and we would be moved to Adelphi Suites. Thats OK as just around corner and better accommodation. After being put in a lovely one bedroom suite had a phonecall from Aspen Suites saying we would be charged a night extra for the next 2 nights. I complained and said we wernt prepared to move back again. They finally agreed not to charge us. Adelphi Suites has a new restaurant downstairs and much better than previously and after settling initial problems had a lovely stay there.

Very nice modern hotel”
The Aspen is a very nice little hotel. The lobby looks good and I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They are very bright and modern. My Superior Studio had a nice faux hardwood floor, a large bed, nice furniture and a flat-screen tv. The kitchen had a full size fridge and stove (not that you're likely to cook in Bangkok). The bathroom was equally impressive. The hotel is in a good, busy neighborhood though it's about an 8 minute walk to Soi Sukhumvit and another 5 to the Skytrain. I would say that's the only knock on this hotel.

Diamond in the Rough”
I cautiously booked 2 of my 4 night vacation with Aspen Suites not knowing what to expect. This gave me an out in the event that I was not satisfied with the accommodations, but to my surprise after the first night I was so impressed that I booked 2 more nights. Highly recommended, price is right, next to Soi 4 accessible by short cut. I'm going to stay there again when I'm back in Bangkok.

aspen suites”
Having stayed at this hotel on several occasions, I can say that every time I have been to Aspen Suites, I have been very satisfied with the quality of the hotel for it's price range. The front desk people are always very courteous and helpful. The standard room that I stayed in had a large refrigerator, excellent for storing groceries and drinks, as well as even a stove to cook food. The breakfasts at the hotel are reasonably decent, although I have never tried the restaurant at any other time. But that is probably because the convenient location of the hotel means that I prefer to head to one of the nearby sois to buy food, whether it be the extremely cheap (but good) street food or any of the sit-down restaurants and chains in the area. The hotel also provides free internet, although it is not wireless.

My third stay at Aspen Suites”
My third visit to Aspen Suites, and all good. Very comfortable place to stay. Quiet & sleep-friendly, no passing traffic or local bars. Room facilities very good, including kitchenette, and kept clean throughout. Staff friendly. Had some room service, and food was well prepared & tasty. Aspen Tuktuk was in for repair, so they hired a temporary replacement. You could hear it one end of soi 2 to the other!! The service is a feature - advertises every 15 minutes, but normally on demand (with collection from Sukhumvit Road if you phone) The drivers are very pleasant guys. Prices for Aspen Suites do vary a bit, but mostly I think this place is good value.

Highly recommended”
I highly recommend this extraordinary good service that starts already at the entrance of Aspen Suites! A warm 'Good day' made me and my wife feel like being Home. The lady at the Reception Desk briefed me shortly about all the benefits and I realized that I was good located: all is in walking distance. I was surprised when I entered those spacious rooms: it smelled so good and all was clean. I like details and I found them here at Aspen Suites. I have been travelling the world and be assured that I this is a nice stay with your family or beloved one and try out the breakfast in the morning: a huge variety of fresh things! The staff is doing a great job here: hardworking and always a smile on the face! The ratio quality/price is excellent, no complaint about this
