Beautiful wood interior, great location right in the middle of Wanaka”

Right in the center of Wanaka, only a few minutes walk to the lake and restaurants, with a huge supermarket right beside the motel. Beautiful wood interior, but you must be aware of the downside as they can create wood cracking sound during sunrise when temperature gets higher, so don't be alarmed by that. The beddings are comfortable, wifi is fast and shower is strong. Overall this is a great value and convenient place to stay in Wanaka

Perfect as always! Staff was incredible, the room was so clean! Even with staff shortages they managed to have a smile on their faces! Lovely receptionists and cleaners. The heaters were perfect and we were never cold!

Best accommodation in Wanaka”

Very unassuming, this apartment was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful high roof log cabins with all the amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful, guiding us to restaurants for our tasting (which we also loved). Definitely to come back.

Simple but lovely ”

We stayed for 3 nights over beerfest weekend. The room was a good size and had simple but thoughtful additions (like a microwave, cutlery etc). We loved the sliding door to our wee sunny courtyard and the big shower. It felt exceptional value for money and we would stay again for sure.

Dog friendly, great location ”

Right next to the lake, dog friendly, and everything you need - highly recommend. Negatives - not super clean in forgotten areas (someone else’s hairbrush under the bed) and parking is first in first serve with more cars than spaces so bit hit and miss. Was also very hot in summer with no fan.

Central to town”

Very nice motel, center to town, walking distance to Paradiso and all restaurants. Rooms have everything you want in the kitchen, Bathroom has one soap dispenser for everything, if you are looking for separate shampoo conditioner soap, bring your own. Its just run down / old, everything else is great.

Fit for purpose”

This motel is pretty basic and quite dated but clean and certainly sufficient for me on an overnight business trip. Given the lower price I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place nearby the lake.

We booked last minute for three rooms for one night. Was nearly £100 per room for the night. Although rooms were clean I do not consider them worth the money paid. The motel needs a complete makeover. Lots of pine cladding .. poor furnishings and very dated. Would not want to spend too much time in the room. Had a microwave ..fridge and kitchen sink. Also tea/coffee making facilities. Superbly located for bars/restaurants but reminded me of accommodation stayed in 20years ago! Poor value for price paid

Great location but a very tired motel. Rooms were very dark and in desperate need for updating. Walls were very thin, not all the lights were working and there were old dust covered cobwebs on the ceiling
