In a quiet courtyard in the 9th arrondissement, this small B&B-styled property provides neat and tidy rooms within walking distance of the Louvre. Around the corner from the Grand Boulevard metro stop, the Aston Hotel represents a good deal on accommodation in a safe and tranquil environment. The shops of Boulevard Haussmann are just up the road, and so too is Opera Garnier, while the Louvre can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. The Seine and Pont Neuf are just a little bit further. Accommodations here are compact, clean, and functional, and a continental breakfast buffet is served on-site. The hotel is just on the edge of the 2nd arrondissement where traditional arched galleries offer cafes, clothes boutiques, and brasseries by the score.

Nice location in the centre of bars and theatres”
Great little hotel in the middle of Opera area. Comfortable bed and really enjoyed our stay. Had a great deal from Agoda and paid up front on credit card. The only negative for us was being charged hotel tax on top of the booking and being asked if we used any tea or coffee in the room. We said yes and were charged for the 3 coffee's and 1 tea also.... !
location is good, room is small but clean”
nice location, close to the subway and a lot of restaurants there. romm is a little small, but i think the hotels in paris may be similar. room is clean. you can tell this hotel has some ages by its left. however, i think it is a nice place to stay in paris.
very good option for budget travelers”
The charming building in a convenient location dates from the 19th century, and it is in very good shape. Our standard room was compact but comfortable - it featured a small closet, mini-bar, safety-deposit box, complimentary coffee and tea, nice bathroom amenities, and flat-screen TV with international programming. We requested early check-in and the gentleman at reception was able to fulfill our wish - he seemed very happy to go the extra mile to help. We stayed only a single night and did not have a chance to try the breakfast because our flight departed very early. Because we were on the first floor, we used the stairs instead of the tiny elevator (it is not easy to install lifts in constructions of this period). We were satisfied with the price that we paid. Most importantly, all staff members were truly service-oriented and courteous. We felt very very welcome. Hopefully we'll return to Paris - and will definitely try to book this hotel again!
Really enjoyed this hotel - if in Paris again wouldn't stay anywhere else. Room and bathroom small but comfortable, well serviced every day and pleasant staff. Location was great, just 20 minutes walk to the Louvre, masses of cafes and restaurants nearby, theatres and metro. Didn't have breakfast included in room rate but just over the road a place where you could get coffee and pastries - $6 for 2 people
a nice hotel”
it was about 15 min walk from opera which i think it is acceptable. the general condition of the hotel is good. convenient stores are nearby. i will stay at this hotel again
Good location, easy on the budget”
Hotel room is small, as is common in Paris. A bit hard to find at first due to somewhat hidden location. Staff needs to be reminded to clean up the room and re-stock toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc.). Wallpaper needs to be replaced or re-installed. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the racket from the street below. You get what you pay for, I suppose. But the rate is great for the location: close to the Grands Opera Station and the nightlife along Bd. Poissoniere, walking distance to the Louvre and Galleries Lafayette. If you have a bit mire cash to spend, look for a newly-renovated hotel instead.
Comfortable room in handy location”
Quick and easy check in, with lots to do just around the corner. Close proximity to metro station makes the whole of Paris easy to access. Extended my stay and did not have to change rooms. Late checkout (12pm) also a bonus
small but confortable”
This is a small hotel with confortable room. Price is acceptable. There are bakery and carrefour nearby. you don't need to worry about the food and drink. Carrrefour opens till 11pm. Good for visitors
Located in the heart of Paris”
This hotel is located in the heart of Paris, so I could go many places easily. Also, there are very good restaurants & bars near the hotel. The room is clean but, it is quite small.
near to hard rock Paris”
First time to stay here, its rather difficult to find this hotel because inside the cluster. But location is great, near to Hard Rock Kafe Paris also just a few walk to mrt station so we can go everywhere
Convenient location with a lot eatery nearby. It’s near to metro station, 10-15 mins walking distance to Galleries Lafayette. Room is small with tiny walkway, but overall the hotel is ok.
They call themselves 3 star..”
Staffs (yes staffS) were ridiculous-- when asked if the hotel provides a toothbrush of whether it's in the room, one would say "I dont know whats in the room, if its there its there" and the other would say "Only a four star hotel would provide that. We're 3 stars". I mean, what kind of service is that? I've stayed in other 3 star hotels and this is my first horrific experince with something that maybe should be 2 stars. The room was very very overplayed in the pictures. There are cracks and stains on the walls. If you're looking at the photos now and thinking oh they're okay, imagine the real thing to be worn down, dim lit, and small. My room had no lightbulb on the ceiling. I had to rely on the window and three tiny wall lamps. Good thing it's summer and the sun sets late. The pillows are horribly flimsy and I've seen better pillows in a hostel. There was a bug on my towel and I had to leave it outside of my room. For this price I would pay a bit more to stay in a hotel x1000 times better than this one. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
Can be superb, BUT”
Be careful when you choose the room! even if you need single room - do not choose this option as the rooms are tiny with no space to open the luggage and no place to charge your phone, other than in the toilet/bathroom. The location is awesome, the breakfast is very good, though does not offer any kind of vegetables. The stuff is nice and helpful. This could be a real 4 star hotel if the owners will give it just a little beat of TLC.
Thank you Irit for your comment we are doing all in order to satisfy our clients. we hope you have had a pleasant journey. Toda raba Joseph
I got the different room.”
This hotel is located in the heart of Paris. Eventhough I booked the double room for myself, they gave me the single room. The room was too small and there was no closet in my room. My room was not the same one that I booked through AGODA. You can find better places since there are full of hotels.
Tiny rooms but in a decent spot”
Tucked away in a tiny alley this hotel is in a convenient spot. Rooms are awfully tiny and lacked power points. Wifi did work well in the rooms. Acceptable for a night or two if your just want somewhere to put your head.
not come back”
the room is too small, it fits the bed (square is about 7m2) The elevator dimension is about 70cmx70cm so that 2 persons stand very difficulty. Aston must be the hostel not the hotel
Nice and quite location nearby Opera”
Small room under the roof but enough to store all luggages. Every furnitures available. Bathroom too small for tall people. Well located nearby many typical french restaurants and also a nice italian restaurant Osteria Dal Gobo. Breakfast good.
quiet surroundings, great location”
very quiet location as it was up an alley way, supermarket opposite, Printemps, La Fayette, L'opera were within 10 minutes walking, room was uncomfortably tiny, but had lovely big window & a French balcony
I just love Paris, will be returning soon”
I chose the hotel because the interior seemed to be nice and romantic, and the pictures looked good on the internet pages. However, I would not rate the hotel as a three star but rather a two star hotel for my room had not undergone any major renevations yet. But my stay was just near perfect, so I did not mind the minor details that I would have wanted to correct.
