Excellent property”
We were a group of four women sharing a two-bedroom suite that had a living room, fully-equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms, as well as two men sharing a one bedroom with a fully equipped kitchen. We were attending a convention at another hotel that was seven minutes away. Conveniently located we were able to cook all of our meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner saving us a lot of money since meals at hotels are usually very expensive, averaging about $35 a meal. Too, we were able to hold all of our evening meetings in one room as well as invite guests to dine with us. Several of our us were able to enjoy the jacuzzi and pool. All in all, a wonderful experience. Staff was super nice and accommodating.

Have stayed in Maui before (Kihei) thought I preferred that area. Booked this trip last minute and wasn’t confident about Kaanapali area (thought it was too touristy last time) or Kaanapali Shores. Both exceeded all my expectations and this will be my first choice for future Maui vacations! Stayed in a 2 bedroom Penthouse suite. The view was breathtaking. Sunsets and whales from the lanai. Stunning landscaping. Fell asleep to sound of waves, woke to songbirds. Not too big a complex where you can easily pop down to the pool, restaurant, parking. Groceries and small strip mall across the street. Great place to meet other guests from around the globe. No loud or crazy partying. Far enough from the crowds at the main hotel area around Whaler’s Village, yet walking distance to other hotels/restaurants. Staff were accommodating and helpful on several occasions. Yes rooms are dated, in Polynesian style, but are very clean and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Great location ”
We just recently returned home from our 3 night stay at the Aston Kaanapoli. We really enjoyed our time there, our room 414 was conveniently located close to the elevator which in turn was close to the pool/bar. The room had all the amenities that we needed for our stay, even laundry detergent. Staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The food truck park next door is a must! This resort was better than I'd imagined. Not only was the view to the ocean just beautiful, the grounds were lush and green, and so well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pools were so relaxing and enjoyable to lay by all day. The beachfront location was perfect!

Beautiful sunsets! We found the service excellent here, everyone was very friendly. Never had trouble getting a spot by the pool or beach. Room was spacious, enjoyed the balcony views and the full kitchen came in handy! If you're very particular, some might think the rooms need updating but we had no problems at all, the bed was also very comfortable.

The staff here were amazing. Anything we needed at anytime was brought to us. The resort has two great pools and hot tubs that we enjoyed every evening. We learned to Scuba dive in the pool and this was a free service. The kids loved this so much that we went out and did two Scuba dives in the ocean with the same instructor. The restaurant food and drinks and the on site little shops are great. The resort is located in a perfect location for beaches, dining, groceries, and shopping. I would recommend this resort for anyone.

Great, cheap alternative to the other more expensive resorts in Kaanapali. ”
Great pool and restaurant. And very good value for what you get. Beach here is washed away but within 5-10 mins are amazing beaches! Favourite was Oneloa beach. Very private and less people with beautiful blue water. Great grocery store right across the street to stock up on food for your condo. Lots of food options within walking distance. Would highly recommend forgamilys and couples too. Can’t wait to return!

Great Time”
I was at Aston Kaanapali Shores Resort from April 4-10 with my family (9 adults + 1 baby), and we had a wonderful time. The staff were super nice, the pools were beautiful, and overall location was great for what we had planned for our trip. Only downfall was daily amenity fees and parking fees, which definitely added up between the two rooms we had booked. however, I think these fees were disclosed and are consistent with all the other hotels in the area. Had a great time - would definitely recommend!
