I fully enjoyed my vacation at the Gili island for staying at Aston Sunset Beach Resort. I went to Gili looking for a peaceful experience, and staying at this hotel was the right decision. The location of the hotel which is quite far from the busy area of Gili Trawangan makes the place quiet and peaceful. It is not too far though, it only takes 15 minutes of riding a bike to the busy area. This hotel has the best sunset viewpoint with a view of mount Agung in Bali, The scenery of the sunset at the beach in front of the hotel was so breathtaking. The room is clean and comfortable and the facilities are great with a pool at the center of the hotel. As for the breakfast, there is a variety of delicious food, including western and Indonesian. The restaurant is located right on the beachfront so while I was having my breakfast, I could also enjoy the peaceful beach scenery and the breeze of the wind. Lastly, the service of this hotel is beyond great, the staffs are super nice, friendly, and helpful, and they always made sure that I could enjoy my stay at the hotel. Finally, I had the best experience staying at this hotel, and this is the hotel that I will surely come back again to stay in when I visit Gili Trawangan island in the future.

Loved everything about it. Booked 2 nights and extended for 7. Was perfect except we had to move to the pool from for the last 2 nights of our stay. I'd highly recommend the garden rooms over the pool rooms though as they're much bigger and quieter as they're at the back of the hotel grounds. Bathroom in garden room was more than twice as big as the "upgraded" pool room and the overall room was just nicer. Staff friendly. Outdoor movies on every night. For us, this side of the island is better than the super busy side.

i’ve stayed here for 2 night and it was amazing. in front of the hotel we can watch sunset, and take 10 minutes of cycling we can watch sunrise! of the the breakfast is really good! and they have ayce buffet also that taste so good! they have facilities such movie night, etc. woud recommend you guys to stay here

Wonderful stay on the quiet side of Gili T”
We really enjoyed our stay in Aston. The room was wonderful especially the bathroom! The aircon worked well and the bed was comfy. The staff was always really friendly and helpful and fullfilled every wish as long it was possible. Special thanks to Komang at the reception who always had an open ear and provided a great service. The breakfast buffet on the beach was also very delicious and had various food offerings and even made fresh fruit juice. The pool was big and clean (mix out of chlor and salt water). In the evening you can watch the sunset and enjoy two movies (also new ones) directly at the beach starting at 7pm. If you arrive at the harbour or if you want to go to the other side u need to walk between 30 to 40min. The beach at aston is nice too, but there are some corals in the sea. All in all it was a great stay and I would defenetly come back!

Fun days in Aston Sunset Beach”
We stay in Aston Sunset Beach Gili Trawangan from Dec 25 - 29, 2020. The room is clean ans spacious, staff are great and helpful, the breakfast is standard (almost low) but the dinner with fresh grill fish is awesome. I like the beach movies, the biking experience, and the sound of waves here. The pool is just in front of our room so it's great. There is a convenient store in walking distance close at 8pm so it's very helpful for snacking. Dispite it's a remote place, I love this place so much during the pandemic. I wish it's not too crowded during the normal season as well. So, see you again at this 2021 year end..

Friendliest staff ever!”
Wow! We got upgraded to the nicest villa ever, complete with pool, garden, beautiful bath, carved 4 poster. It was amazing. But even if you don't get a lucky upgrade, this place has the nicest people ever! Gili T remains quiet but the staff genuinely cared about every part of our experience. Excellent breakfast! We ate out, but the food was just as good at the hotel. And we kind of enjoyed the movie on the beach we have to admit. The staff was happy to arrange transport to and from the airport. This hotel was wonderful.

How to get there: It's quite away from the pier. If you think of walking, good for you as it is quite a walk. The best way is to take the horse cart but to some it may seem animal abuse. To each to their own. Food: For a Malaysian, I won't say its the best. The menu caters more for European, American or Australian. The only thing I would give five stars is the chocolate lava cake. Staff: They are top notch kindest and helpful people. Deserves to be called out. Room: It has a spacious room and bathroom. Environment: Very suitable for honeymooners, family with small kids and family gatherings. Facilities: There is daily 2 movies shown at the beach on a big screen. Grab a bean bag and join the crowd with cocktails and buffet dinner. The in house spa is awesome as well. After the extensive body scrub treatment and hair treatment as well, definitely came off there as a different person. If you plan to have drinking parties, this location is not suitable for you.

The hotel was very nice, we got our honeymoon welcome decorations in the room! There’s a freeflow drinks and snacks at the lobby. Their staff also very nice. But after covid they dont offer bike for free anymore. You have to rent.

A lot of + with this hotel, with some - but + outweight by much. We are a group family, booked 6 rooms altogether. We got a line of row for ourself. We went there during moonson, so weather was bad.. mostly raining everytime, but it's all good while the hotel has everything already. Cleanliness are good, waiters/servers are good, some facilities ate rather old but acceptable. Pool are good.. beach are good, water was clean but we were a bit annoyed with a horse peeing next to us swimming. Place is good if you want to have a more quiet ambience og Gili T.. access is bad, and it is at the other side of the port, which takes 150k idr to go there from port/busy places. Roads are flooded by water at that time, but it supposed to be better if it is not during moonson. First time i tried the sunset side of Gili T, but unfortunately it was all cloudy..

They allowed us early check in and responsive our room problem. The hotel served free flow water. The hotel is far from Harbour. we rent the bike, bought some snack in the mini market, swimming, take a picture in sunset point and having our dinner in the beach. They have movie show in the beach every evening.

Aston Sunset Honeymoon”
We decided to stay at Aston Sunset Beach Resort after staying 7 nights at the Bhuvana Villa to socialize a bit more. We had a deluxe suite without a pool villa. We stayed for 3 days and the facilities were clean, the location was calmer than the main strip of Gili T, and the staff was attentive. Our safe was not working when we first checked in and we did have to ask twice but they were attentive about fixing it as the batteries has gone out. The pool was clean on arrival but the second day had quite a bit of debris as you could tell it had not been cleaned. We assumed they would clean it but by our third day they finally had someone cleaning the pool and playing catchup. The swim up bar was priced similar to bars/restaurants around them. Their drinks are made with a concentrate that did not set well with my stomach at all so I ended up drinking beer the entire time we were there. The BBQ was ok. Overpriced for nearby BBQ's. Worth trying once. The breakfast was busy. They warn you on your breakfast voucher to go early. 930-10am is their busiest time. You will get everything you want with minimal wait between 730-845 so I'd suggest going earlier than later. They give you bicycles to checkout and use. I recommend the fat tire bicycles as there are some deep parts of the sand/dirt paths you'll be able to glide over with much more ease if you are riding on the fat tire bicycles. The rooms come with a small mini-fridge. Good for getting some BinTang or wine and storing in cooler temperatures. If you're coming from Bali I recommend grabbing a few bottles of wine for your time on Gili T as almost everything is shipped in and can be expensive for alcohol. They supply you with bottles water in the room and you can request more bottled water from the front desk but there's free water at the front desk for hydration when you're walking through the main lobby. They will charge you for water on the beach or at the swim up bar as a heads up! After spending 3 days at the Asto

Hotel with the best sunset scenery in Gili Trawangan ”
I stayed at Aston Sunset Beach for 3 nights. Their hospitality is absolutely EXCELLENT! All staff are superb kind and friendly, they even taught me how to ride a bicycle. If you want to enjoy sunset, this place is a great choice since they have the best sunset scenery in Gili Trawangan, yet the price is affordable. Definitely I will come back here someday.

A Great Place to be away from it all!”
A great 4-star resort to stay in the Gili Trawangan; Away from it all – good for relaxation in the sun-kissed beach with clear blue skies. Free open-air movies nightly. Breakfast was great with a good spread. Staff very friendly especially those in front office. Unfortunately, did not see a good sunset whilst there due to the cloudy weather in the evenings. A secluded resort & quite a distance from the habour [where the main shops & activities are]. However, you can easily take a bicycle [compliments from the resort] & reach the habour within half an hour. Alternatively, you can take a horse cart [150K rupiah, one way] to the harbor.

Located on the quiet west cost of gili trawangan with beautiful sunset, the resrurant of hotel is located at the beach with spacious dining hall and tables, chairs, beds on the beach for view of sunset. When weather is good you can see clearly the vocanal agung in Bali island. Facility in the hotel is contemporary with all necessary supplies, breakfast is buffet and colorful, which is unlike many other hotels on the islands gili. Free bicycles available in the hotel for guests, and it's convenient and good experience to ride around and into the island.

The resort is a good distance away from the centre of town, the pool is gorgeous, rooms are comfortable and clean. The service is amazing, everyone is lovely. We are at the restaurant which is on the beach, you can watch the sunset while drinking a cocktail. We treated ourselves with dinner right on the beach, which was a slurge. The breakfast is really good. I would highly recommend this place if you're wanting to chill, relax and enjoy yourself. We are definitely coming back. Thanks Aston Sunset Beach Resort. Great Hotel with Spectacular View”
A few things to talk about Aston: 1) Hotel - The hotel itself looks quite new so expect everything to be clean and polished. The hotel's overall design is quite modern and comfortable compared to the other hotels in the island. 2) Location - Takes about 20 mins of cycling to get to the main street where most shops/restaurants are located so there's a good and bad side to it. Bad - Not convenient as you will have to travel for awhile to get to the shops, bars and restaurants. Good - Very quiet with minimal traffic around the hotel compared to the main street. The view is spectacular during sunset too. Something you won't get to see at the busy part of the island. Also, 3 mins walk to the swings at Ombak Sunset Villa - arguably Gili Trawangan's most famous photo spot during sunset.
