We had such a wonderful family holiday at Astoria Current, Boracay and cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff made our stay truly exceptional. A special mention goes to the restaurant team – Sir Ollie, Marilyn, Gina, and Danica – who went above and beyond every time we dined there. They made us feel so welcome and well looked after, and their warm service really stood out. The facilities are fantastic for families. Our kids absolutely loved the pools and could have spent all day there! The lifeguards were excellent, especially Reyna, who not only kept a close eye on the children for safety but also went out of her way to find pool toys for them – such a thoughtful touch that made the kids’ experience even more fun. For the adults, the gym was a great addition, and I personally made good use of it during our stay. The spa and massage staff also deserve praise – their treatments were excellent and added a relaxing balance to our trip. The location couldn’t have been better. Being right on the beach at Station 3 meant we had the best of both worlds – close enough to enjoy the vibrant Boracay energy, yet in a quieter spot that was perfect for our family. I traveled with my family a few days ago, and we can't wait to share our feedback about the hotel. We arrived overnight without any sleep and had to wait a bit for our room since we got there before check-in time. While we waited at the hotel restaurant, Citrine, we met a staff member named Jhon Louise. He took great care of us despite the busy breakfast rush, providing us with a warm welcome. He had no idea how exhausted we were from traveling, but his kindness made a big difference. We ended up having lunch while waiting for our room, which was ready sooner than expected. We truly appreciated the early check-in! From check-in to check-out, Jhon Louise was always there to assist us, greeting us whenever he saw us and even saying goodbye on our last day. Our stay was wonderful overall. Our rooms were clean every day, and breakfast was a delight. We also enjoyed familiar faces each morning, like Jenifer Tibio and Danica Baldivio, who welcomed and accommodated us. There was also a staff member whose name I forgot (I apologize!) who left a lasting impression with his line, “Coffee therapy pa po, mum/sir.” And let’s not forget the lady who made us laugh with her extraordinary Calamansi Juice! You all are amazing! You made our stay memorable. As the one who planned and recommended the hotel, I was worried about whether my family would like it, but you all saved the day. We loved that it had its own pool, which became our go-to spot, while the main pool remains a great option for families with kids. We also want to thank the lovely front desk lady who assisted us during check-in—she was incredibly helpful, professional, approachable, and accommodating (and I regret not catching her name!). All three of them gave our holiday the perfect start. This time, we stayed at the new Annex building where the main reception is located. We loved that it had its own pool, which became our go-to spot, while the main pool remains a great option for families with kids. Our room was fantastic—always clean, equipped with a SMART TV, complimentary bottled water, and comfy slippers that we definitely put to good use. Astoria Current will always be our top choice when visiting Boracay. We truly hope the exceptional standards they’ve set remain consistent—or even better—with time.
