The staff were extra welcoming and friendly from the very first moment. They made me feel like home as the name suggests. The accommodation is located very at a quiet scenic aera very close to the floating market and sime nice tempeles. There's free breakfast and coffee which is awesome. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Ideal to Lay Back and Relax”
Just the right place to stay, to enjoy life by the river in Amphawa. It was a good decision to stay there. However, it is sad that the water pressure in the bathroom needs fixing, as well as the internet. Quite a number of things were not stated clearly, due to communication problem. Pity. This place is near to Floating Market. So, a lot of things could be settled there. And songthaew ride is just 10 baht away to MaeKlong Train Market.

Nice and clean home stay. But older folks just take note, the rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor. No lift or elevator. Need to climb steps. On the 3rd floor, unable to detect wifi. Wifi can only be detected on the ground floor and maybe 2nd floor. Owner need to install a wifi repeater on the 3rd floor.

Everything good. The only negative trait is that one person of the staff (the one we met in the evening) was really really rude to us. We arrived back at the hotel not later than 10.00 pm and she’d shut the door. When I asked for the wifi password, she just started blurting numbers out and when I told her that the password she’d given me didn’t work, she just shrugged. The rest of the staff was nice but that lady made us feel unwanted. Maybe she doesn’t like foreigners

This is a truly living like the locals would. Dont expect the same guest house standards that you are used to. Very very tired run-down riverside accommodation, very helpful staff with limited english so bring goggle translate. You will definitely experience the local way of life.

Abandoned, dirty, with a lot of humidity on the walls, a bad smell, cockroaches in the bathroom, we have even found a snake right at the door of our room. if you are not conscientious, and you like reptiles and insects, ester is your hotel because it is well located near the night market, and the bed is comfortable.

We were booked to stay for 2 nights but left after 2 hours our room was filthy - see photos When I showed the photos to the owners they just laughed There are various other reasons not to stay 1/ car park is a 100 metres away and then you have to carry your luggage up very dangerous rickety stairs 2/ walls are paper thin so everyone can hear you In the hotels favour it is quaint and right on the river

We expected much nicer rooms than advertised. The rooms we were given were on the ground floor and offered virtually no natural light. They are musky and damp and the bathrooms are small and unpleasant. The shared living space on the canal is beautiful but the manager was unfriendly and unwelcoming. We would therefore not recommend this hotel to other travelers. I’m sad to have to leave this review. We had a great walk around the canals and experienced the forgotten beauty of Thailand and the locals in this magical water world!!
