Lovely hotel, pricey area”
Area is a bit pricey compared to some, though it might be quite good for Phuket (restaurants about B250-B500 for a meal, though there were some cheaper Thai restaurants in Thalang town). Taxi to Surin Beach about B250, but free shuttle at 10am and 14.00. Pool and resort as a whole was stunning. Staff friendly & helpful, though one day we were told bar & restaurant closed at 11pm, went for dinner at 9pm and it was already closed. Room was amazing, comfy and clean with lovely views of both pool & lagoon.

Good Villa style hotel”
We were upgraded to another building with bigger room and environment. It is beside the pool. Very satisfied with it. Good value for money. The location is close to my relatives home, that major reason we book this location. It is in Thalang area, and is not far from airport. It is not closed to Phuket town and most beach. If you would like to go to beach, that need some transportation.

Exceptional”
Really would recommend At Panta to friends and family as the staff here are really really so kind and helpful. They made my stay so enjoyable! Room was big and clean, as was the whole property. Food at the Ma Doo Bua restaurant was delicious as well. I loved suntanning and working out by the pool as well. I just wish there was a gym! :)

Lovely villa and swimming pool”
I and my husnabd stayed for 1 night at At Panta,we were given afree upgrade to poolside villa because the deluuxe room which we booked had a very strong musty wood smell. The villa was lovely though. They have 1 restaurant there, the food is not bad.Better to buy from outside as it is abit pricey.A very big swimming pool.Overall it is very thai style vills. It was alright for a short getaway.Have to be armed with a mosquito repellent at all times,as there are alot of mozzies.Value for money.

Great staff and relaxing stay”
Fantastic stay At Panta - this was my 2nd visit. Lovely Villa, relaxing and peaceful during the day. Brilliant, accommodating staff who were happy to help and fantastic massage in the villa. Breakfast really caters for Asian guests, so not ideal for all. Was disappointed when I checked out the lady did not want me to pay by VISA, was rude and shouted at us. An upsetting moment in what was a beautiful relaxing stay - good for price.

Lovely hotel, but isolated”
We only stayed here one night on our way back to Bangkok and chose this place because of it's proximity to the airport and relatively cheap price compared to other places in the area. Overall, our stay was pleasant. The room was comfortable, though the sliding doors as a main way in were a bit awkward. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel was not really within walking distance of anything, including restaurants. This kind of forced us to eat at the hotel restaurant which was ok, not fantastic, and mildly overpriced for the quality.

Chilled out location, great room”
This hotel is good for couples or family wanting a relaxing break - singles may find it too quiet / too far from amenities and nightlfe. For us though it was great, and the free room upgrade to a villa by the pool was very welcomed (bigger room, own cabana, veranda was much better than a room in the Hotel block) The pool is quiet and decent size, although the swim up bar was closed. good value for money.

beautiful surroundings”
our stay at At Panta was only for 2 days. the accommodation was thai style little wooden houses based on a little lake and overlooking the pool. all looked fantastic however it rained for the duration. i felt very in contact with nature as surrounding by greenery, however this increased the number of insects. breakfast was very basic, and again, the bugs seemed to play a central role in this as the plates, and any food that was not covered up was covered in insects. beer was very expensive in the hotel. staff were very friendly and helpful location of this hotel was in the middle of no where, with little in the surrounding area

Good hotel....location not ideal”
hotel was a bit out of the way, although hotel did provide a free shuttle service to surin beach.had a room directly opposite the pool bar...which would of been great for happy hour by the pool. this never happened...due to the weather and lack of guests possibly. they also promised free bar snacks...this never happened during my stay. staff seemed to be few and far between. however, a few of the lady staff members were excellent hosts...always happy...always willing to help...nothing was too much trouble for them. if i could move this hotel closer to patong or other tourist attractions, i would rate this hotel higher.

Stunning a hotel a little out of the way”
Rooms were amazing; huge, very comfy beds, lovely bathrobes, views out on to pool at front and lagoon at back. Staff were very helpful, though the restaurant & bars did close much earlier than we were told (we were a party of 7 with almost no-one else in resort during low season). About B350 for a taxi into Surin Beach area but free shuttle at 10am and 14.00

different but nice!”
this was our second stay at at panta in the last three years. it is a lovely property with traditional thai style homes (villas) and a wonderful pool. it is far from anything so you should really rent a car but my wife and i enjoy driving around phuket rather than camping at the beach all day. breakfast is so so but we enjoy the solitude this property offers.

Lovely hotel with smiley services ... Great !”
A relax hotel with friendly services and all the staff are polite. Never ask for any extra charges for telephone charges to local agent and also good services with helping us prepare our dinner.

Very nice, stylish hotel”
It is a very nice hotel. It is an inland hotel, nice if you dont need a see. It is ok for seeing the town nearby or taking a trip around the island. It is best if you just want a quitet, relaxing place for a few days. It is in a very quiet location and a hotel itself is a very beautiful complex.

Nice layout, bad choice low-season, rent a car.”
our family took several rooms to attend some “inland” planned activity. transportation was an issue. we stayed there two nights and hoped to take advantage of their “shuttle” to the beach. after arriving, we discovered the shuttle was in the form of a local bus. (they have open-air buses on that part of the island, no tuk-tuks.) it still would have been okay but it was only available to us twice a day, limited schedule. since it’s a little bit away from the tourist main locations, taxies had to be called for everything. regardless of how short the drive was, the taxies took advantage of their need and we were overpriced on a regular basis. during low season it’s depressing, pool fountains weren’t even turned on to assist with a lively mood. it was simply one of those places that should close during the slow seasons. the architectural atmosphere is pleasant, with a thai theme of wooden traditional construction but that also lends to the units smelling musty and the doors not sealing completely. we kept the bug spray going. the food was adequate but overpriced, during our three-week vacation; it has been our most expensive meal to-date. across the street there is a wonderful thai buffet, a truly local experience. this was the highlight of our trip. the staff at the buffet was helpful and after a few initial stares of us being tourists, the local patrons quickly exchanged smiles. the food was fresh and delicious. on a positive note, the reception staff at the hotel was pleasant and helpful.

Traditional Thai style hotel”
Upon checking in there was only a couple staff to greet at front desk. Nice welcome drink, but it was very sweet. I booked a standard room, and received the option to upgrade to a poolside room. Poolside room seemed nicer as it was a more traditional room. Stayed 1 night in poolside room, which was small but cozy. Air con was quite old and needed sometime to cool the room down. Overall stay was good and very reasonable for price.

Just OK”
we got the room for a night at a pretty good rate. however, even at the rate we got it for, it wasn't that cheap. i expect a resort or hotel to cover the basics at any price. cleanliness and providing the basic toiletries for example. overall, the stay was adequate, but i was not impressed with the attention to detail for the small things like having soap in the bathroom. there's not a lot around the resort for food or activities, but it's not too far away either. a few minutes by car will get you to surin beach area and more food options.

Nice Hotel but run down a bit”
we stayed at a lakeside villa at At Panta for 2 days during our training camp at Thanyapura. we liked the arrangement and conception of the hotel area with the park and the small bungalows. But we soon realized that the hotels best days are gone. everything is run down a bit, the management seems not to take care enough. facilities didnt work properly. one day we had no water in the shower. the pool was green water filled and there was a sign 'out of order'. Except from the reception the staff, nobody seemed really caring. Internet has to be payed. the breakfast is just so so. the 2nd morning we counted 4 Chinese tourist group buses outside. that are the main guests now. We will not stay again.
