Good value for money, well located.”
Bed sheets not very good and its a bit hidden. Besides that nothing to complain. Good choice while in BK.

Disappointed”
I have been to many hostels and motels in north east of Vietnam with ethnic groups and they are definitely better than this place a lots. The reception seems not exist. It's like a house with a dark and messy living room (with a lot of dirty dishes) changed to be reception area. We even didn't need to show our passports. When we checked out there was no one but a young girl who didn't know anything and we just gave the key to her. Can't say that it's convenient because there are just 2 mattress, a broken closet, an old and broken chair, floor is broken too and always makes sound when we step on, no toilet paper and the woman there didn't want to give us any paper, the washstand and mirror are next to the door in the room, not in the bathroom and yeah, the washstand is broken too and watering all the time on the floor. Anyway it's located in a quiet area and near Khaosan road (but in a dirty and small alley). The man in the restaurant next to this alley is very fun and friendly. I agree that the restaurant is really good. I will come back to that restaurant again but not that hotel. Wait, the first picture of this hotel on agoda is not the place you will stay, it's just another place (a small restaurant next to the restaurant with funny man) with the same name near there. The real At Phranakorn Inns is not as in the pictures.

quiet room in nice area with ”
the best local restaurant in front of '@ phranakorn inn'! near khoa san road (for the tourists) and old city, chinatown, river, main trainstations.
we had a quiet and private time! only saw 1 other hotel guest and never heard a thing! felt like we were the only guests(?). our room was spacious, but not particularly 'clean looking'. typical kitsch thai interior. the staff member lives in the same building and offered us to 'babysit' our luggage til we return from other trip: mean we will go back again. people complaining have definitely not experienced much from south east asian guesthouses!! this place has a reasonably good value for it's price... there is a pushy guy working for the restaurant in front (open 2:30pm-1am). just go there and eat! he is right: it is one of bangkok's best streetfood restaurants... watch out though that he doesn't charge you more for what you have to pay: he tends to appropiate tips!

some good and some bad”
good value for money, clean and near to Khaosan and Rambuttri
overall we liked our stay at at phranakorn inn..the good-- near to rambuttri and khaosan, good value for money and clean and comfortable.. the bad- hard to find as it is in an aisle within an aisle and the aisle smells like rotten fish, the room at the 3rd floor has no hot water and the room atvthe 2nd floor has mosquitoes (bring your own insect repellant) and the staff as almost non existent...anyway it is near a 7-11 and quiet so all in all i liked my stay..i might try other inns but at phranakorn is my fallback

Good for the price!”
Cheap price, frendly staff, good location
Cant got wrong with spending 20$ for this hotel. Luttle bit hard to find but they are signs who lead you in the backhalley where the entrence is. Just press the buzzer and the frendly lady will come open the doir and check you in. Dont forget to have your booking number. The room was clean and big.the bed wich is pretty comfy is 2 matress stack on top of each other and came with sheets a little blanket and bath towels. No food to buy but little coffe shop , pub and a 7 11 right out the door. Location is good near khao san rd about 8 min walk but without the crazýess and the noise of it. I would definetly go back.

good inn!”
a,b,c,
There were typical problems for a budget hotel, there was a part of the window missing and no screen so mosquitos came into the room and bit Me until I put clothes in the missing part to stop them! Also there was a leak in the sprayer hose by the toilet which caused a very annoying sound of water going down the drain, as well as costing the Inn extra money for their water bill, which will undoubtably be passed on to Us travelers eventually! When I told a staff member, She did offer to call for a repair Person on the spot, but I insisted that They should wait until I vacated The room, so I would not be disturbed by Them, so She agreed to that.
