Awesome”
The Athens Odeon Hotel is located at the heart of bustling Athens. Very close to Omonia metro station and 10mins walk to Monastiraki Flea Market. It is very close to shopping malls. restaurants, fast food joint, ATM machines, Hop On-Hop Off Bus and many many more. One thing I love so much about Athens is about the people! The people are super duper sweet, courteous, well mannered, helpful and considerate!!! Of coz, there are protestors and the demonstrators on the streets but they dont bother you! and they dont harm you!!! I will definitely return to Athens again....

For a budget/low key type hotel very good for short stay. Very friendly and helpful staff”
I chose to stay here for my last 2 nights in Athens and it provided all the basic amenities which I needed without causing a dent in the pocket. Cosy ambience although a bit dated. Then again their corridor lights are on sensor which is great, loved their old style collapsible lift with modern mechanics. Each room key is a magnetic one which you have to place on its control to turn on the power in the room. I thought this was cool. It's a little away from the centre which is the Syntagma side with the Parliament, good eateries running alongside hotels on Mitropoleos St and Ermou St for shopping but not too far from Monastiraki where you find good food and good Athenian souvenir shopping with lots of night vibe. However, it's close to Omonia/Psyrri what is considered a less desirable neighbourhood. If you're not daunted by the graffiti and the industrial looking buildings around then it's great for a short stay.

The hotel was in a central location. The room we stay in was cramped but sufficient for a 2 nighta ”
The staff were very kind and curtious and helpful. The room was tiny and cramped. The bathroom was extremely tiny 5 foot x. 5 foot. The shower was 3foot x 3foot.

Room ACU Out of Order”
The ACU is not working in all the days of my stay. I got bitten by bed bugs. The staff are not friendly at all except that guy who welcomed my arrival past 3AM. The female receptionist sounds like I owe her an apology for my two days no show as she said explain to me why your flight was cancelled.

A good little hotel for a quick stay. ”
A basic hotel with neat and comfortable amenities. The staff are all lovely and incredibly helpful. The area it is in is not the most glamourous but you are walking distance from the metro and ubers and cabs are quite familiar with the area.

Terrible Hotel!!!!”
The odeon hotel is not what it seems. We stayed there for three nights and had some of the worst service we have ever had at a hotel. The rooms are nothing like the one advertised on the hotels website, the room is drab, with bright pink blankets, mouldy on the walls, broken bathroom door and a stained grey bed cover. When we questioned the hotel staff for a better room mentioning that the photos depicted something slightly nicer, he said 'I don't know which photos you have seen and no we don't have a better room.' We decided to stay and put up with it. The next morning we were late (less than 10min) to breakfast and called reception to ask if we could perhaps get coffee or cereal and she said yes. When we got there the staff were so rude and refused to actually acknowledge us standing in the middle of the mezzanine. Eventually one of them waved her hands in the air and gave the impression they wouldn't serve us after the 10 o'clock breakfast finish time. As we were leaving we noticed one of the staff stuffing her face and wrapping up all the left over food in a napkin to take home. On top of this our room wasn't cleaned one day and we called down to reception to ask for clean towns, only to be responded with 'you have to come down and get them.' The hotel is also located in a very dodgy part of town which we were uncomfortable walking around. The only saving grace was one very nice receptionist who helped us get a taxi when leaving. All in all it was such a terrible experience for Athens and we highly recommend that you give the Odeon hotel a miss!

Worst hotel in athens”
Do not visit this hotel, it is highly overpriced and not a true 3 star hotel. Everything is just at it worst possible condition in the room. From yucky beds cover pillows from 30 years ago, to heater not working peoperly. The furtiture and covers are not just really old and used but also dirty. Mattresses absolutely a no no. Staff are ok. Bathrooms hot water not happening. There is NO FRIDGE, while its advertised that there is!!! What 3 star hotel doesnt have a fridge ? Absolutely ridiculous! Area is one of the worst cabs cant even pull out of the hotel. The least of deal you can get for one person is 40 a night but its not even worth 10. Better spend 10-20 more and get a decent accomodation.

Love it..... Wanna go back!!!”
Extremely friendly Staff...
The staff was great. They helped me with everything... The room was always clean and beautiful. I was located on the 7th floor and the moment i opened my balcony door i was excited about the view of Acropolis that i had in front of me. They also helped me by arranging a tour for three islands. The prices were more than reasonable for what i needed. Definitely would stay here again.
