From the moment of arrival, you are aware that this is a very special place. Above all, the management and staff. They go beyond any level of service we have experienced in any 5star hotel in the world. Charming, thoughtful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The position, high above Camps Bay, provides breath taking views, as well as quiet seclusion. The rooms are spacious and beautifully fitted out in every way. The best beds you will ever sleep on. Immaculate Mercedes fleet to ferry you wherever you want to go at very reasonable cost. The evening drinks and canapés get together is a brilliant idea, and means you get to know fellow guests. Only minor niggle is no coffee making facilities in some rooms. Seems an oversight? When we return to Cape Town next year, this will be our first port of call. Spent our last days on our honeymooon at Atlanticview and it was magical days. The service is excellent, location perfect and the room (the Rock room) was the best! Big and spacious, nice bed and the view was amazing!! We stayed at the hotel most of the time on the sunbeds, enjoyed the delicious breakfast and lunch, took in the views and relaxed by the pool. Highly recommend this hotel, we just want to go back! Nice little touch that they serve wine and horderves for all the guests at 19:00, great way to be social with other fun guests from all over the world and to enjoy the sunset over Camps Bay.

The hotel is right at the back of Camps Bay and has elevated views of the whole bay, of table mountain and looking down the coast. The staff where tremendous as was the suite I stayed in.

This is our second time at Atlanticview, and still as lovely as we remembered it. It’s not on the main drag in Camps Bay, but only a few minutes in a taxi - close enough to the action when you want it, but calm and serene when you don’t! The staff were really helpful booking activities and restaurants, and generally being excited to hear about day! Thank you AV !

Atlantiview Cape Town Boutique hotel was one of the most beautiful, peaceful experiences ever. The staff is wonderful and the view is to die for. The hotel was so refreshing that I was so sad to leave. It’s clean, professional, intimate and relaxing. I like to try new places, but I have to come back to only this place because they make you feel like you’re family while you’re there. Can’t wait to come back! Price worth every dollar. If anyone dislikes this place they have to be crazy.

This is a well located and nicely furnished hotel. Unfortunately, that's about it. The reception was not welcoming in the slightest and the place has little atmosphere. The breakfast waiter was pleasant however.

Your review is very out of the ordinary compared to others on this medium so I did a little investigating to find out what the issues were. Actually your issues had nothing to do with us really. You arrived at 19:30 during a city wide power failure. You were rude to our African security guard who in the dark simply asked if you were guests in the hotel before letting you in. You were rude about this at reception+would not give a credit card for incidentals. A standard request in any hotel anywhere in the world. We are a private boutique hotel not a Westin with hundreds of rooms+an open front door to the street all day/night. Security is of paramount importance to our guests and staff. Who are you to question this? It was raining today. You said at check out you'd like to come again but wrote something untruthful+of no help to other travelers. No, you may not stay here again.

Dear 1 Night stay. We have tea, coffee and home made shortbread biscuits available 24 hrs. Our breakfasts are not limited at all. Perhaps the menu was difficult to read and you didn't see if there is anything not on the menu that you would like please tell us and we will make it for you. We really don't know what you expect from a one night stay as you haven't made it clear. Perhaps you should chose a large cold hotel where you would be anonymous and no one would look after you personally.
