What a lovely place!”
Such an awesome place to stay. This is one of my most favourite backpackers in New Zealand! I've stayed here 3 times and I always feel super welcomed thanks to the lovely owner Sheira, wonderful people who's living here and 3 friendly cats. The owner talks to every single guest to make sure they are enjoying their stay which makes me comfortable. Cozy lounge, the kitchen has everything you need, free tea & coffee and free breakfast. And beautiful paintings on every wall are just amazing. Highly recommend!

Perfect location for after or before take a ferry to move to other island. This hostel staff are really friendly and attentive. If you like music, you would love this place as there are more than 100 of CDs are placed. Also you are free to play the piano or pool. You can ues a range of common spices for your dishes. after than you can have a cup of coffee or tea as well which is free. Shouldn't forget that they provide towels you don't need to use own yours and laundry it.. There are cafes, bar and restaurants are located near by the backpacker and you are able to park a car just right in front of the backpacker or shops. Don't miss a chance to stay in such a lovely place in Picton.

Excellent stay”
Great location, it's just 1 minute drive away from the Interislander ferry terminal. The paintings on the all of the walls are beautiful. The staff lady is very kind and her hospitality is amazing. The rooms and the lounge are very cozy and comfy. There are 3 cats and very adorable! I'll definitely stay here when I take a ferry next time!

If I could U would give the guys from Atlantis 6 stars on their super friendly staff and the very unique character of the place, really comfy! If you want a cheap but very pleasant stay and maby the occasional surprise cookie or free dessert after dinner (if you are early enough to still get a piece😉), then look no further.

+ Probably the most cosy hostel I have ever been to, the fireplace is always lit, free breakfast and dessert in the afternoon :) The owner is so sweet. - The bed was quite hard and some other guest got some nasty bites during the night, Kitchen is small for such big place. But I would definitely stay here again.

The room is really tiny. There is no space for much except the 2 single beds! No hanger for clothes available etc. However, the lady in charge was rather humorous and the location central. Free breakfast and dessert are also provided.

The owners are constantly working to improve your stay . They provide breakfast, coffee, tea etc. The big dorm is noisy , especially if the street window is open but the 4 bed dorms are fine.

Comfy and quiet for female in dorm (4beds)”
Room, kitchen and bathroom are clean. Stayed 1 night in female dorm. Was lucky to be sharing the whole room with another female traveller only. Kitchen is pretty equipped. Can't comment on the free breakfast as I checked out early in the morning to catch the intercity bus from picton information site which is really close by in less than 5mins walk.
