One of the best options in Nana!”
This was my second visit to Atlas. This time, they put me in the second building, across the street. It was noisier than the first, with live music from Zanzibar every night (awesome vocalist on timeless hits from the 70’s and 80’s) but it’s a great value for $30 or less per night. Above all, Soi 7/1 lets out onto Sukhumvit, directly underneath the Nana BTS station. That makes access to so much of Bangkok incredibly easy, convenient and cheap. It’s a short walk to Nana Plaza, great restaurants, street food, bars and shopping malls. The hotel and room itself is nothing fancy. In fact, it’s a very old hotel with a modern veneer; and rooms are rather small. However, it’s clean and comfortable; and staff are mostly friendly. The bath is large, bed is good quality, and there’s a tv with cable, a fridge stocked with beverages for purchase, water boiler, extra pillows, hair dryer, safe, large windows and good ac. Atlas is one of the best options and ideal for the solo traveler.

Perfect Solo Traveller Hotel”
Location is unbeatable at this hotel. A clean, comfortable bedroom with a clean, functional bathroom is all I want when I’m traveling solo and this hotel was perfect. The staff members were all very polite and helpful. In-room bar fridge and safe were a nice touch for the price too. Obviously it has air-conditioning and WiFi as standard. Even though the hotel is in the heart of busy Sukhumvit right next to Nana sky train station you can’t hear any noise from Sukhumvit road so you can get still get a peaceful sleep. I’ll definitely stay there again when I’m back in Bangkok.

I love Atlas Bangkok Hotel”
I love staying here in this hotel. We stay here for 6 days and everything in this hotel was great. Our stay was worth the price. They always clean our room even though we dont put the tag clean our room. The staffs are always smiling specially the girl with a long hair (sorry i forgot her name) was not able to say goodbye to her because she was on Off duty the day we left the hotel. :( Second, the hotel is very near the BTS. Very accessible to to all tourist spots and malls. There are near subway, mcdonalds and 711 and family mart and other local restaurants. So in short, if i go back to thailand, for sure i will reconsider staying at this hotel again. Kop khub krub, Atlas Hotel. :)

Good value for money”
This hotel was SO much better than Star Inn next door! First of all, when I arrived at 6:30am and explained that, although I booked for the night, I will be departing at 4pm on the same day I've arrived (I just wanted a place to rest for a few hours and take a shower before the next leg of my trip), the receptionist kindly allowed me to have a room right then and there. Normally, hotels won't let you check in until at least 1pm,often 2pm. This made a huge difference,as I was travelling all night and was able to sleep until 11am (nothing to do in Bangkok before 11am anyway), hence didn't waste my day in Bangkok. The room was decent size, bed comfortable enough and bathroom quite spacious. Very clean, had windows (unlike Star Inn next door), fridge and looked inviting. As it sits smack in the middle of "red light' street, I assume it could be a bit noisy at times, but the whole Sukhumvit is like that, even in much pricier hotels. I definitely recommend this place, as it is great value for money, excellent location and easy to find. Close to everything.

Discreet, small scale - a good option”
A one-night stay on the eve of my return to Australia. Booked earlier the same day I checked-in (coming from Buri Ram). Brilliant location virtually at the base of Nana BTS, Soi 7/1 is directly opposite the station, we're talking a minute or two walking time - that's efficient travel. Walked straight passed the hotel (on the left) and discovered it was in a rather lively soi with the usual array of Bangkok night life attractions. Don't be put off, there was no disturbance in the room from outside noise. It's a small hotel but I rather liked this, just the single lift servicing the floors. I was given Room 606 which is the top floor (I think). It was clean and there was a well-stocked fridge and free tea and coffee making facilities. The TV worked well, the bed was very comfortable including rather good pillows. There was a good view of - what else - Nana BTS and Sukhumvit Rd. What I particularly liked was the room had it's own split system air con that worked very effectively.

Good one at the most reasonable rate.”
Good One ; especially considering the rate at which I got it booked. I would consider staying here again if I stay in SUKHUMVIT area ; STONE-THROW distance from BTS NANA. Staff is fine - though did not need to interact much as I stayed only overnight. All days early morning to late evening I was out. But they cleaned the room every day, though I did not leave much to be cleaned. My room - 605 - was not at all noisy as reviewed by some other members. The outside view overlooked the BTS NANA STATION and other surrounding areas. Only one thing they may keep at Reception is the International 3 PIN PLUG as the room had only 2 PIN SOCKET, so I had to buy one from just outside the Hotel for THB 50. No big deal though. Anyway, All The Best. Thanks again. Regards.

Excellent location, cheap but at a price”
I stayed at A7 Hostel (opposite building) from Atlas Bangkok Hotel from 29 Oct - 31 Oct. The location is very accessible; 1 min walk away from Nana station. Along the Atlas Bangkok Hotel there is a "clean" massage parlor that provides excellent massage services and facilities! There are a few roadside stall along the hotel stretch (Mushroom soup, boat noodles, meat balls and fruits stall). The hotel room, however is a disappointment. Spotted a cockroach in the toilet, and staff took around 15 minutes to clear it. Sound proofing is very bad, you can hear a lot of noise one floor above you, along the corridor and outside the hotel room. On top of that, there is a telephone at the corridor that rings several times every single night. There is a lot of disturbance. Bed is also hard and uncomfortable, and towel is stained. For the amount of money I am paying, I am very satisfied having a room of my own and residing in an accessible location. However, having a cockroach in the room is not acceptable. There were no service recovery done (switching to another room etc); the staff simply told me it's settled. I will not stay at this hotel in the future to Bangkok.

Great location, great value in Nana area”
Atlas was a great little hostel in a great location, right by the Nana BTS stop. Asok is also short walking distance. Got a private room/bath with hostel prices. The front desk and cleaning staff were incredibly friendly, was locked out but got me in the room no problem with a smile.

why no english speaking news channels on the tv?”
for me this hotel wins as an acceptable priced, clean hotel in a (for me) perfect location. it is literally 30 meters walk from the front door of the hotel to the foot of the stairs into nana bts sky train station on the main sukhumvit road. it is located in a small narrow soi 7/1 which has about a few quite reasonable restaurants and a pub (last on the right) the pickled liver. (nice non-with a few british/irish beers.) also a few other medium priced hotels. the soi 7/1 is also home to the famous eden club. the main hotel with reception is on the left side as you enter the soi. six rooms on each floor and has an elevator. opposite the main hotel is the annex (superior rooms - but not significantly so) which does not have a reception. an electronic key card opens the door and there are 4 rooms on each floor. there is an elevator. rooms are on the small side but sufficient. well stocked small fridge mini bar. the rooms are very dated and in need of refurbishment. there is a live band club near the hotel which closes quite late. so it is slightly noisier in the rooms nearer the soi. staff including cleaners are efficient and courteous. 15 minute walk to the famous soi 4 - nana. 5 minute walk to german beer garden in soi 7. 10 minute walk to foodland supermarket (24 hour cheap meals) and gullivers sports bar on soi 5. *** but why no english speaking news channels on the tv? *** i note opposite star inn hotel and restaurant are closed.

Great location but small rooms”
small busy soi 7/1 off sukhumvit. 30 meters from nana bts station. two parts to this hotel - on either side of the street. i stayed on the opposite side to the reception (near star hotel) and on the 5th floor it was very quiet. spotless clean small room with good modern bathroom. good air con. variable quality internet wi-fi free in room. so close to my haunts beer garden soi 7 and soi 4 nana entertainments. at these discounted agoda prices - it is my perfect base. i struggle to find any fault with it.

Clean and Convenient for Nana BTS”
I usually stay in So I 11 but wanted a cheap alternative close to the Skytrain and nearby dentist. Soi 7/1 is a small side road filled with small bars and massage. Noisy at night ( until 04:00 sometimes) and perhaps better suited for single males. Atlas reception was across road from my block. Room is fairly basic with walk in shower, yea and coffee, mini bar/ fridge. Older tv. Main attraction was very clean, spare towels, comfy bed and efficient AC. It was ok for the price, but would shop around next time. Agoda rate cheaper than the hotels!

Budget hotel with great location”
The hotel's biggest draw is probably its location - literally just 50 meters from Nana BTS - a central Sky Train station from which it's really convenient to go to most tourist places. But only stay here if you plan to take the train most of the time because anything on the road is subject to horrible traffic jam at almost any hour. It's good not to have high expectations of this hotel; it's a budget hotel after all. Everything works but not much more than that. Be prepared to deal with spider webs on ceilings (but the beds and bathroom are clean - again, not sparkling but acceptable) and really loud music playing late into the night. Maybe if you request a room that faces away from the alley it will be less noisy. The hotel also shares an alley with a couple of 'BJ' salons, but safety doesn't seem to be an issue. Most of the time it's pretty quiet with just that one club blasting music till 2-3am. There's Sukhumvit Soi 11 just 2 alleys up the road where you'll find lots of food, massages (both clean and not so), bars, supermarkets and everything else. In all, it's a good hotel and I'm happy we stayed here. For young travelers who don't mind a little noise in exchange for a fantastic location and good room rates, this is probably as good as it gets. p.s., cat lovers will be delighted to know that there's a 'resident' cat who always hangs out at the entrance. He's really friendly and will let you rub his belly.

This is a great little hotel. The staff are smart and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for a solo traveler, within walking distance of so many essential things and literally right on the BTS station, connecting you to so much else in Bangkok as well. Oh, and also important: the price is right!
