Charming hosts at well-located guest house”
We had a delightful 3 night break ‘Au Cœur de Bordeaux’ - truly in the heart of the city. The guest house is run very efficiently by Denis and Brigitte, and Denis was extremely welcoming and helpful, assisting with taxis, restaurants and advice on planning our time and visits during our short stay. Although less than 5 minutes walk from the cathedral and main shopping streets, the accommodation is quiet, thanks to the effective double glazing. Air-conditioning in our room meant that night-time temperature could be controlled when the windows to the Juliet balcony were left closed. The comfortable, attractive room had a modern en-suite shower room attached. We enjoyed breakfasts provided in the ground-floor dining room between 08h00 and 10h00, timing that was very convenient for our requirements. Bordeaux itself has undergone huge transformation in recent years, making it an elegant, vibrant and friendly centre for a city break. Hosts, accommodation and location highly recommended.

Charming B&B in the heart of Bordeaux”
This B&B is really beautiful and I truly recommend it. It is located near the centre of Bordeaux. We got a lovely room on the ground floor. Denis is very kind and nice. He made us feel at home. The beakfast is excellent.

Only one room on street level while the rest are upstairs accessible by steep staircase so be forewarned in case you have luggage or difficulty in navigating stairs. In which case, ask for a room on street level. Very nice hotel and staff & owner.

The staff was very attentive and friendly”
The stay was very lovely as the staff was very attentive and friendly, with good command of English. The location was near to all major attractions, approx 15 mins by walking. When we arrived, the staff gave us complete explanations as to what to visit & where can we eat, with detailed explanations as to how to get to those places as well. The room is very spacious for 3 people and very clean, with good comfortable bed.

Enjoyed the stay, recommended for over night stay in Bordeaux. It was the first day of our trip, missed the train to Bordeaux therefore arrived late, Owner was not around, however, a senior Gentlemen (pardon me, i didnt catch your name) handed the keys over to us. Though he dont speak English, he tried his best to assist my husband with the parking arrangement, we didnt have enough coins for the machine, he did all he could to solve the prob for us. Very grateful, thank you.
