I made a last booking and paid, when I got to the property, it was closed and no longer trading. Called their mother company and sent emails with no luck and no refunds

Place is Closed Down but took my money”

When I got to the venue, I found the place locked. All lines were not answered. Until I called previous Duty Manager that told me the place had shut down. I wrote to the Group Company and still no feedback but my money was taken and booking confirmed

Great Auberge and super staff”

This is a wonderful auberge with large and very comfortable well appointed rooms and a lovely pool. The service is excellent with wonderful attentive and extremely obliging staff. Had a great time.

Poor front desk management & poor continental breakfast”

For a 5 star graded establishment the service provided is very poor. For e.g. (a) There is no late night/early morning front desk service - on departure the person had to fetched from staff quarters. (b) There are no phones in the rooms for one to contact front desk in the case of an emergency or general requirement (c) There was no variety in the continental breakfast provided (only 1 full cream plain yogurt - type; 1 fruit type, etc.; only white/brown bread & no rye; whole wheat, etc). Makes one wonder how Auberge Hollandaise Guesthouse was considered best 2015 hotel as advertised at their front desk.

My booking wasn't in in the system and was asked to move to another hotel but couldn't as it was 20 minutes away so I got a room eventually but the TV and kettle didn't work, so were replaced, there was no hairdryer but when asked I got one and when I eventually took a shower, realised it leaked water onto the bathroom floor. The WIFI signal is so weak, it keeps losing connection so I used my phone's data eventually. When I asked if breakfast was included in my rate the next morning I was told "no". I would've made an exception if I was the manager of the establishment, to make up for all the fails. This establishment won an award in 2016, but seems nothing has happened since then and maintenance is not a priority.

It was comfortable and relaxing.Their pool was sparkling clean the whole time I was at the hotel it was used to the fullest. the security is adequate.

Only issue I have is next door the pool pump sounds like a jet engine and its on all the time

No WiFi during entire stay. Breakfast needs to be ordered. No buffet. Spacious rooms, clean but bed and pillows uncomfortable

Very Disappointed ”

There were water restrictions from 9pm to 4am, which was such an inconvenience. On Saturday night we were stuck outside the gate for about 30mins because there was no one to open for us, apparently the security guard had gone MIA. We called the hotel number about 15 times and hooted before anyone came to open. After all of that we didn't even get an apology. The place is also not that clean. Definitely not 5 star and not value for money.

Wir wurden nett empfangen. Die Einrichtung macht einen guten Eindruck. Allerdings war unser Zimmer etwas schmuddelig. Wir hatten dies beanstandet, doch auch noch nochmaliger Reinigung, waren einige bemängelte Sachen immer noch dreckig. Das hat leider das Gesamterlebnis negativ beeinflusst.
