Good location. But you must leave the room at 11am that's annoying ”
I find it very inconvenient if you must leave the room from 11h to 15h every day. That means you can not sleep until noon and it might be annoying for people who sleep late. The bed wasn't very clean, I got some allergy on my skin. The floor is very clean though. Breakfast with juice and coffee is good.
near to metro is the only good thing
no kitchen, no water, no microwave, for short stay is ok
The rooms are really small and don't have any commodities inside!!”
The rooms are really small and don't have any commodities inside!! Not even something to hang the cloths!! The common bathrooms are really horrible!! They're totally not suitable for more people in the same moment!! We were there for 3 nights and couldn't sleeps comfortably because the people there make noise all the time!! It's worse then a student house!!
Pros: near to metro line 8 ledru rollin station, near to restaus and stores, free breakfast. Cons: hot and cold shower is not good at room 101. No bidet. Steep stair. 1 socket only in 2 room far from bed.
Hostel is clean , staffs are good . They don't let you use the lift even if have a heavy luggage .”
Clean hotel , good location , staffs are helpful . They won't let you use lift even if you have room on 4th floor and take a very bag . Stair case is too narrow . No plates or cups for use in the kitchen .
save your money”
* curfew for internet access. it’s also a hassle to log on * you cannot go back to your room from 11am-3pm. access restricted to the room you paid for * when you leave for errands or even to the shop across the street, you need to drop off your key at the counter. you also need to take with you the receipt they gave you when paid. you need to keep it with you at all times * toilets with no sink to wash your hands * shared showers are like a mile away from your room. you can wash your hands in the showers room but you need to go back to your room for hand soap and towel * no elevator. 4th floor? tough luck * smokers right outside where you eat. people at the counter don’t care. one of the worst places i’ve ever stayed
this is a shit hole that I will never visit again in my life time”
They're under construction, so you don't allow to stay in the hostel too long during day time and all the facilities are roughly done. So the soundproof is not going to be so well obviously. In my experience, I can always hear people shouting and running all the time. For the wifi, you have to reconnect it every hour, and sometimes you don't even get it again. Oh, you're not allowed to take a shower after 11 so it's not so convenient for people to stay outside all day long. Anyway, I wished I could book other accommodation than this one no matter how much more expensive gonna be.
I wish i could give zero”
The worst ever, once i entered the room, i picked up my phone and started to search for nearby hotels at 1 am, I couldn’t stand even one night, ended up with spending few hours with bed bugs and showers next to my head then shorten my stay to other hotel, guys simply avoid!
Good local but charge on everything”
No WiFi in the room
Good location, budget hostel
Extremely budget hostel”
3 sets of showers and 1 toilet per floor, warm water, good pressure. Relatively clean. Spacious rooms. Fortunately only had to share with 1 other, rooms have their own sink which I was grateful for. Sockets only on 1 side. Breakfast was mediocre but free, so can't complain. Lovely bakery around the corner. Great location, easy access to several metro lines and buses.
Location is good, 5 minuets go to metro by walk, the big problem is that the quilt a great taste, and there is no quilt, I haven’t used the quilt all night, the room is close to the street, there is a coffee bar downstairs, it is noisy at night. The advantage is that the room and toilet is not crowded.
Lacking some fundamentals, but great for a short stay”
I've stayed in some hostels for a month at a time. I wouldn't really recommend this for that. This place is a good for a night or a few nights. It lacks basic ammenities, such as: - the lights in the shower stalls weren't working when I was there. there was enough daylight from the windows that I could get by - there were no hooks in the hostel room, for hanging your towel or shirt or anything - the shelves in the hostel room were dirty. - the Safes for security keeping in the hostel rooms were non-functioning. But they have similar small lockers at the front reception - the staff could be randomly kind and helpful and randomly rude and bit*chy depending on the day. I found that frustrating when I first got there. -the location is amazing. there is a fruit and vegetable market nearby, open-market on the street-- kind of blocking the business of the cafes etc, haha. fresh food there is much better than your one-piece-of-bread breakfast. Lots of cafes, bars restaurants too.
A thorough Review”
I would recommend this hostel because it’s cheap and in a good location. Just like any other budget hostel, you have your good points and you have your bad points. I’m going to complain about those now. PROS: -There are subway stations Everywhere in Paris. This location is right next to the Picasso museum (not so great) and a lot of bars and restaurants. (buy a one week metro pass for 27 euros and take any train / bus!) -While the breakfast is a joke, just a coffee/tea/juice box and a small baguette, there are about 50 fruit/vegetable stands up and down this street right next door. Apparently not a single traveler at breakfast noticed this and jumped on the chance, though - there is a locker at the front desk for tiny valuables/passports - only two beds in a mixed dorm--- great deal and price - there is sink/faucet in each room (at least in the two bed dorm). Very helpful - there are two bathrooms in the lobby CONS: - my room was immediately next to the shower room. The pipes/
Good enough for budget travelers”
Breakfast was nice. Place is clean. Friendly staff. However no wifi in the room while wifi in the common area is limited to certain hours. No elevators so had to carry my heavy luggage to the 5th floor where my room is.
A good choice in Paris”
As we all know, the accommodation in Paris is not pleasant, so it's really good to find such a hostel not far away from the MTR, surrounded by shops, and attended by nice receptionists. The room is satisfactory for the washing in every room even I just booked a bed, and it's actually duplex, by that I mean my bed is on the second floor by a staircase in the room, very cute.
30 old years”
The place was fine but if u go on their website, u can see "allowed under 30 old". So I call them because I rented ( paied) before to see this. They told me "we can refund u so it's ok for this time but beware the next time".
No room access or wifi in the middle of the day”
This hostel is one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Probably because they lock it down for 4 hours between 11am-3pm everyday to clean it. During this time, you are not allowed to be in your room, even if you have a private. You can't run up to your room to grab something, or drop anything off because your key will be deactivated. You also can't sit downstairs to use the wifi because the wifi is turned off during this time as well. I've stayed in a lot of hostels and I've never experienced this before, it was very inconvenient. Also, as a couple, we booked a private room. We were unpleasantly surprised to find bunkbeds. We had to both climb on the top bunk at night because there was nowhere to sit and the lower bunk was too short to sit upright. I'm not usually one to go out of my way to write bad reviews but I wish I would've read more of the fine print about of this hostel before booking. It was a great deal and the location is pretty good. There is also a really cool wine bar down the street that we loved. However, I would not re-book here next time I'm in Paris.
