budget friendly accommodation with stellar staff”
My friend and I were looking for a budget friendly accommodation in Nyaung Shwe as we explore the famous Inle lake destination. This hotel is 1-2 star hotel (with that being said, if you are looking for a fancy ambience, fancy food, fancy room then you gotta be booking with Best Western). This hotel provides the basic amenities: clean, comfortable beds, decent room and bathroom, decent breakfast (omelet, fruits, coffee, toast). This hotel charging for this amount, I personally think it's fair and just. I would like to special mention all the wonderful staff who took care of us during our stay. You were all wonderful for 1. The fast check in procedure 2. Arranging our day tour in Inle Lake (the boat guy is really wonderful and kind; i forget to ask for his name!!) 3. For booking our bus tickets to Yangon 4. For arranging our shuttle service to the bus station. One thing i had issues in the room is their a/c-- it won't turn on. We realized that at 4:30am.

Great location, excellent service”
We arrived at Aung Mingalar at 2 or 3am, and despite not having requested an early check-in before coming, we were shown to our rooms immediately. Our room was much larger than expected with a huge bathroom and hot water, which we found very welcoming after the 8-hour bus ride from Yangon. The location of the hotel is great - it's a little further in an a 7-minute walk from the main stretch of road with the central market, just enough to have absolute silence in the night.

Wonderful stay! ”
Staff was amazing, breakfast was delicious, WiFi was good, room was comfy/practical, bathroom was big and hot water was on point. What more could you want? The ladies at breakfast were always pleasant and smiling. Location was just outside the main town center of Nyaung Shwe. All staff was helpful and willing to accommodate. Would definitely stay again! Pleasant place to stay for short trip”
I spent 3 nights at the hotel. It was good value for money. I was there for Christmas and surprised how chilly it was first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I was shivering in the breakfast room bcoz I hadn't taken a jacket or jumper with me, so one morning I wrapped myself in the bed blanket. My 1st day there I hired a bike for half a day, very cheap (less than 1,000 Kyat) and went as far as Maing Thauk (11km) from hotel, good location for some great pix of huts on stilts and long boats. I was saddle sore by the end of the day, due to bumpy roads. Next day I hired a mountain bike with great suspension (but cost US$10) but was much more comfortable. That day I went as far a Nan Pan Market (22km from hotel)again on east side of lake. There, there's a 5 day market (ie every 5th day) and I was lucky to coincide with market day. Otherwise not a great deal to see on east side of lake. I think there is more to see on west side of lake. On 3 day I took a boat trip for 15,000 Kyat from Mr A Tun Travel Agency near to Smiling Moon restaurant. For great food I recomend Golden Kite restaurant, Live Dim Sum restaurant, Golden Kite restuarant, and Sunflower (1 street away from sole set of traffic lights) where u can buy 3 course meal for £1.50 or 3,000 Kyat. One down side with the room, there was no kettle to make hot drinks, although I paid same price for excellent hotel in Bagan with kettle in room. Rooms also a bit dark, bcoz they block out some of the windows with coloured paper. Otherwise very pleasant place to stay for short trip.

we get to the hoel very early in the morning about 5 o'clock. They arrange us to our room to rest withou pay anymore. So we can have a good rest. We feel very appreicate. Stay in Aung Mingalar like resort hotel.

Good stay with bad surprise in the end ”
we arrived at 4 AM with the nightbus from Bagan and it was possible to move into the room instantly without paying extra money!!! really nice ! they organized our one day boat trip at inle lake and also the bus to Yangon. the stuff was really helpful. 15-20 min walking distance to the canal where the boats are leaving. the hotel is compared to the other hotels in the town boundary but definitely in walking distance to everything at Inle lake. rooms were clean! no AC and a little bit humid. (towels and bed linen) The morning we were leaving we recognized at the bus to Yangon that some of our belongings were missing. we are not 100% sure that they were stolen at Aung mangalar but there are not really other possibilities. in every Backpack of our 3 backpacks 1-2 things were missing. (perfume, Apple earphones, dolce&gabbana eyeglasses case without glasses but with contact lenses in it- so nothing really important but however annoying :-(

Amazing and large breakfast and a big room with little outside area ”
We had a great stay here! We wanted to get some rest after our trekking so we booked this hotel because of little outside terrace to sit. It was very private also and the room was big, good shower. But the best thing was the breakfast, we got eggs, pancake, toast, butter & jam, fruit, local snack, and sometimes even avocado. It was really good! Especially for the price that you pay. Thanks for the lovely time at aung mingular. The only negative part is that the neighbors have an aggressive dog that barks very loud every time you walk by. But that’s not the hotels fault.

Nice Stay”
Wifi didn't work so well... Besides that, everything was fantastic! Nice staff, beautiful room... Some kids played guitar everynight next to oor room. The third night we decided to join them. Great experience. Wonderful place! Love Inle Lake!

Wonderful hotel to stay in”
This hotel was recommended to me by friends and I am so glad. We were welcomed at 4.30am, able to check into our rooms, enjoyed breakfast. The staff were friendly, warm and very helpful. The rooms were lovely, spacious, clean and I slept very well. Wifi was overall good. They arranged a good day with boat driver on the Lake and good transfer back to the bus. The hotel is on the far edge of town, from the river, but not too far tio walk, very peaceful and quiet, Would happily stay again and highly recommended.

Aging property but still has charm”
as with most properties in Inle Lake and Myanmar in general, the hotel is showing its age but they've managed to maintain it as best they can. staff was very friendly and tried hard to be helpful.

Reasonable Price”
You can enjoy my trip with very kind staff, reasonable price and clean room. Breakfast was also good(it was changed every day) Egg, Bread, jam and butter, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. I totally recommend to here for who visit Inle.

Nice hotel, helpful staff”
The hotel has nice greenery and the rooms are neat and clean. It's a basic hotel, but very good value for money. Especially because of the staff. They all were extraordinarily sweet, polite and went out of their way to help us. When we arrived at 4am we got a free early check-in since the room was free, they got us a breakfast box when we headed out on a tour the next day at 5:30am, did our laundry for a fair price, let us print out some documents - whatever we needed, they tried to accomodate us and made us feel very welcome.

Wonderful place to stay and visit Lake Inle”
This hotel is fantastic. We stayed for two nights in a large room with an en suite bathroom. The room was clean, comfy and far the best value for money of any place we’ve stayed in Myanmar. Breakfast is served between 6-9am every morning and is delicious: fresh fruit, toast and eggs, coffee and even pancakes! It’s a short walk into town (approximately 5-10 minutes) and there are good places to eat nearby (try Bonanza Restaurant) as well as the hotel itself. We’d highly recommend this place and would happily stay again!

Perfect stay”
The hotel was much fancier than we were expecting. It is run by a very friendly family, has beautiful gardens and is in very good condition. The location is quiet and tranquil, about a ten minute walk from the main market (well worth a visit). The room was well maintained and very clean. There is good WiFi, but like all places in Myanmar, mobile data is better than fixed line internet. Staff here are wonderful, we checked in early the day we arrived and checked out late the day we left with a small fee. The breakfast was huge and comprehensive, fruit, coffee, juice, toast, eggs, pancakes.. we loved our stay here and would recommend this place to everyone.

We arrived 6am, thinking of just dropping off our luggage and go around the town, we understand hotel check ins are always 2pm onwards. Surprisingly the room was ready! Its very spacious and very clean. Refreshed, we drop by the reception to ask about some tour bookings, and the guy said we can have breakfast first before going for the tour (very basic but surely no complains). So we actually had 2 breakfasts over one night booking :) Location is not really in the middle town, about 1km away, walkable for sure.

Room was looking fantastic”
we stayed here only one night. we amazed by the outer and inner look of the room as it looked as a temple. it was value for money, breakfast also good. Staff was very good. only minor thing was we didn't receive bottled water as we received from all other hotels we stayed in Myanmar. and no tooth brushes and pastes. other than that, we are very satisfied.

Excellent value for money”
Our little family of 5 people booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. We had a warm welcome from the staff, the breakfast was good and big enough, with freshly squeezed juice and different fruits each day, and the location perfect, a little away from the centre, in a quiet area closer to the local life. The rooms are big, cosy, clean, the beds are a little hard though, the little terrasse in front of each room and the central garden are very pleasant. The staff is very attentive to details and helpful.

Everything is ok, just the place is a little deserted. Our bus came to Inle too early(our mistake), about 3 a.m so a little not convenient, we rang the doorbell and called reception many times but nobody answered or opened the gate. we had to wait for 2 hours and the weather is a little freeze. Expect this, others are good so I am still satisfied.
