Good value for money”
Room was clean and everything worked well. It was also quiet despite the Thingyan season. However the hotel seems to have modified an old temple into hotel rooms which might not suit all travelers. Breakfast was basic and mediocre.

We arrived very early from Hsipaw and they let us check into our room, which was amazing to be able to catch up on some sleep! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was basic but tasty. The room was very spacious and clean.

budget friendly accommodation with stellar staff”
My friend and I were looking for a budget friendly accommodation in Nyaung Shwe as we explore the famous Inle lake destination. This hotel is 1-2 star hotel (with that being said, if you are looking for a fancy ambience, fancy food, fancy room then you gotta be booking with Best Western). This hotel provides the basic amenities: clean, comfortable beds, decent room and bathroom, decent breakfast (omelet, fruits, coffee, toast). This hotel charging for this amount, I personally think it's fair and just. I would like to special mention all the wonderful staff who took care of us during our stay. You were all wonderful for 1. The fast check in procedure 2. Arranging our day tour in Inle Lake (the boat guy is really wonderful and kind; i forget to ask for his name!!) 3. For booking our bus tickets to Yangon 4. For arranging our shuttle service to the bus station. One thing i had issues in the room is their a/c-- it won't turn on. We realized that at 4:30am.

I fell sick during my stay there and the staff took so good care of me! They were very helpful and friendly! The rooms are big. A bit far away from the city center.

Good”
Large room but the beds are not very comfortable. However it is clean and has a good location. The breakfast is simple but good. We arrived early and were invited to check in early and have coffee, however at checkout we asked if we could do later because we had a bus the night, the clerk said that we could checkout until 2:00 p.m. and that if we did at 5:00 p.m. we would pay half So we checked in at 14 o'clock and went to lunch, we returned to wait for the shuttle at reception was when she charged us for the checkout later that we had done it within the free schedule, she insisted and it was hectic and it was an unpleasant situation after a lot We explained that she had said that until 2 pm it was free she accepted but it was annoying. Even so, it was a good place.

Great location, excellent service”
We arrived at Aung Mingalar at 2 or 3am, and despite not having requested an early check-in before coming, we were shown to our rooms immediately. Our room was much larger than expected with a huge bathroom and hot water, which we found very welcoming after the 8-hour bus ride from Yangon. The location of the hotel is great - it's a little further in an a 7-minute walk from the main stretch of road with the central market, just enough to have absolute silence in the night.

lovely guesthouse”
we stayed here 4 nights. rooms were spacious, clean but quite dated. Breakfast was very good (toast- jam/butter, eggs of choice, fresh fruit shake & tea/coffee) Staff very friendly. & was located very conveniently near to everything. We rented bicycles around the corner as they didn't offer this at the guesthouse!

Nice rooms, a bit pricey ”
+ I did like the location. Nearby you have lots of local and western restaurants. (I recommend "HTI" restaurant) + the rooms are in bungalows with small terrace, which is very nice and convenient. - a bit pricey but that is bagan - breakfast is horrible (sorry myanmar) like everywhere in myanmar. You get a lot well but it's noodle, rice and eggs. European people don't eat eggs, it's an American thing. Get some fruits, yoghurt and musli :) - staff is helpful but they seemed a bit annoyed.

Nice hotel, helpful staff”
The hotel has nice greenery and the rooms are neat and clean. It's a basic hotel, but very good value for money. Especially because of the staff. They all were extraordinarily sweet, polite and went out of their way to help us. When we arrived at 4am we got a free early check-in since the room was free, they got us a breakfast box when we headed out on a tour the next day at 5:30am, did our laundry for a fair price, let us print out some documents - whatever we needed, they tried to accomodate us and made us feel very welcome.

Very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.”
We arrived 6am, thinking of just dropping off our luggage and go around the town, we understand hotel check ins are always 2pm onwards. Surprisingly the room was ready! Its very spacious and very clean. Refreshed, we drop by the reception to ask about some tour bookings, and the guy said we can have breakfast first before going for the tour (very basic but surely no complains). So we actually had 2 breakfasts over one night booking :) Location is not really in the middle town, about 1km away, walkable for sure.

Aging property but still has charm”
as with most properties in Inle Lake and Myanmar in general, the hotel is showing its age but they've managed to maintain it as best they can. staff was very friendly and tried hard to be helpful.

Wouldn't recommend to my friends”
I was disappointed. I booked this hotel as it had good reviews, but the room I stayed was disappointing. The hotel and rooms need a facelift. Hard beds, the rooms smell musty and the floor creaks with every movement. The rooms are facing a street, so passing cars and honkings might wake you up. Cobwebs can be seen sometimes between hotel decorations - makes one wonder when was the last time they had a spring cleaning. I requested for room cleaning as I stayed two nights, but they didn't even change the sheets! On the flip side, fruits given during breakfast was good.
