    Simply Perfect
    Location, cleanliness, staff friendliness
Our stay was simply perfect. We are a family of four including 2 teenagers and we stayed in the sea-view suites. I want to especially thank Aycan the manager for accommodating all our requests in a timely and professional manner, Zafar at the reception who did a fantastic job from the very start to the very end, Laila from the housekeeping who did a great job in keeping our room clean and fresh, and last but not least Yasmin the chef who prepared our breakfast every day with a smile and great attitude. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The location is just the best, the area isn't noisy at all and feels safe all the time day & night. The rooms are clean and fresh with unbeatable view. Daily open buffet breakfast is simple but delicious, variable and healthy, fruits, different kinds of cheese, vegetables, eggs, sausage, pastries and bread, cereal, yogurt, juices, and hot drinks: tea, coffee, milk, apple tea (so yummy). The breakfast area is on the top roof (with a wonderful sea-view) in the main building (Sur Hotel) where they have their 24/7 reception. The suite was very small but they come with a twin/queen bed and a sofa bed plus we managed to add a rollaway bed. It also comes with a kitchenette including a mini fridge. We requested a microwave and were provided with one. The reception staff speak very good English and they provided us with all necessary information about transportation, best places to shop, touristic places and companies that arranges tours..etc. The hotel doesn't have a sign, so you must look for "Sur Hotel", this can be a challenge and we had the taxi driver talk with the hotel staff to find the exact location. It's a walking distance to the Blue Mosque & Aya Sophia and public transportation. We would definitely stay there again and again.

    Nice view
    Good location
Very close to all the tourist sites in the old city. It’s not really a hotel as such; it’s more like a service apartment. It does not have any sign to indicate it’s the hotel/ service apartment so the taxi driver had a hard time to find the place. The view from window is very nice; we could see the sea from the window. The breakfast was self-service. Fresh cut fruit and other Turkish/ western food to choose from. Not huge selection but not bad as there was no extra charge. The cons were: There was only one staff who can speak English, and he looks after this apartment and the hotel next door. Whenever we asked questions, the staff had to call him over for translating. It’s noisy- we stayed on the 3rd floor for the 1st night. The room was right below where the staff kitchen was. We can hear the staff conversation and the noise they put cutlery in the kitchen. The 2nd night we stayed right next to the kitchen and it got worse. No lift and the stairs were narrow. When people were waiting for checking in, the staff carried their luggage in front of the room. The luggage took the entire stairs and made it difficult to go down stairs.

    amazing view and clean.
    the view of maramara sea
initially it was a bit hard to find the hotel .. however the reception was was helpfull and welcoming... its made nicely in the form of apartments and facing to maramara sea .. the break fast was goood and one time i got a chance to cook my self which was a ncie experience. the manager chengezhan was a very sweet person and always ready to help and support. the view from the terrace where the break fast is served was amazing . however the train pass near from the htoel which some times create a little wakeup call .. :) but overall it was wonderfull.

    friendly and helpful
conveneiently located near Agia Sophia and Blue Mosque
Nice room with a beautiful view. The train didn't really bother us because it didn't run late at night. The staff were super helpful.( I had some problems with my visa and they went out of their way to help me) The breakfast was lovely. Good sized bathroom and shower with lots of hot water. The friendly staff replenishing the food, coffee, tea to make sure we had enough to eat was really accomodating. The bed was very comfortable. It had satellite TV but it was a bit difficult to navigate. I would recommend it!

    Lovely hotel!!!
    The location
staff are so friendly and incredibly helpful, the blue mosque and hagia sophia are only 5mins away. clean, modern and the rooms are a good size!! it is close to the railway line, which can be noisey at night. the only thing to remember is to take a shuttle to your hotel as the taxis rip you off !!
