Great place for families with young children”
One word review: Location Walking distance (even with kids!) from all the major attractions. Offers some great views of Wat Arun esp from it's Breakfast place (along the river side). Staff is super helpful & place is clean, modern & has all whats needed. Lots of restaurants around (some featured on food shows in Netflix!).

Nice Bed and Breakfast”
This is a nice boutique bed and breakfast, not a 4-star hotel. It lacks any hotel amenities such as restaurant, gym and swimming pool,. The room is very small, but clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and right on the river, 10 minutes walk to Grand Palace and Wat Pho. The breakfast is delicious.

Room without the view”
If you're going to stay there for the river view, don't book below the 3rd floor.

Good location, close to Wat Pho, Grand Palace”
Good view just few step to Chao praya river The room quite small but clean. Good service. Some of river view room can see river partially because there is tall building upfront.

Horrible experience - they just wanted our money”
Not very helpful, they charged extra to clean sheets - never heard of this in a hotel! Also charged extra for water bottles they said were complimentary

Quaint, wonderful find”
The Aurum had been recommended by friends. The owner grew up in the home and so knows the area intimately. Great restaurants and sights nearby - from wats and temples to flower markets and five star hotels on the river. We took a Klong tour arranged by them. Bed was comfy, brekky on the river. Highly recommend this boutique hotel for a stay away from the usual city hub

Comfortable, no river view”
Very comfortable stay at Aurum, but no view of river because a building has been built in the past year obstructing the view, which was a bit disappointing. The staff very very friendly and helpful. Can walk everywhere, good local food nearby. Would definitely stay again.

First stop for honeymoon”
We spent 1 full day (2 nights) at aurum for our first stop in Bangkok for our honeymoon. The location is great right next to wat po and the grand palace!! (And across the river from wat aurun) rooms were nice size and the breakfast is a full breakfast!

Great location close to Grand Palace”
The stay at Aurum river Place was excellent. I loved being close to the Chao Praya river. It is so easy to catch the river boats to go to the various different markets and locations along the river. Being so close to the Grand Palace also made it nice to walk to directly.

Great Riverfront Boutique Small Hotel”
Great location right on the river and across the street from Wat Pho. Easy walking distance to the Grand Palace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only downside is it can be a little noisy with all the boats going up and down the river but the view is worth it. We stayed on the 4th floor which was great!

Excellent”
This hotel was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was good. The hotel is very close to the Grand Palace and across the river from Wat Arun, but we could not see it from the hotel with a side river view. We were surprised that many of the stores and restaurants in the area close after dark.

Aurum is a gem”
I really enjoyed my stay here. The breakfasts were delicious. I enjoyed sitting on the patio, watching the boats go by, enjoying the view of Wat Arun, eating delicious soup, while sipping my morning coffee and munching on fresh melon. The room was clean and comfortable. There were many yummy restaurants within a few-minute walk of the hotel, along with many of tourist attractions (Wat Pho, Wat Arun), great shops, and fun rooftop bars!

Great location & reasonable price”
The hotel is small but chic also the staff quiet friendly. The hotel is located near tourist attractions such as The Grand Palace, Wat Po, Wat Arun, etc (± 5 minutes walk) also near 7-11 and money exchange. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The only downside were it is quite hard to find the hotel when you were coming for the first time because it is located in the corner of an alley. Overall it was an amazing stay for us.

Traditional european style”
Beside an English breakfast were not many offers; the rooms are clean and have nice international hotel furnitures. The rooms with river view are really nice; But we didn't find very much of any typical Thai atmosphere. When I once asked for chilies they offered a CHINESE SWEET chili-sauce. Also the staff was not really helpful for a Tuc Tuc or other questions; The surrounding is poor, but we felt day and night absolutely secure and the people outside were always helpful, square and fair. Temples and the flower-market (especially in the evening!) are close.
