Good location for travellers ”

quiet, comfortable hotel for travellers to albury. a bonus is a continental breakfast included in price. friendly owners. we ate at the restaurant one night.

Exceptional”

Was taken aback when the front desk gentlemen told me that my booking was not confirmed even though I showed him the confirmation and payment. He had to make many phone calls out to confirm my booking. In the end, a lady called back and was rather nice and ensured we got the room as per booked. The gentleman should have been well trained at least as he caused us to go on a panic. Otherwise, the rooms were great, facilities is good. parking is easy.

Quiet room, double glazed windows on road side. Breakfast okay. Pool needed cleaning and weather had warmed up enough to use it that weekend. Hard to park in front of room unless back early.

I was very happy with my stay. The staff were friendly and efficient and the price was very good value for the quality of the facilities provided.

Motel rooms are dated and need upgrading. Furnishings old, bathroom shower tiles were painted and peeling. Crockery in room was mismatched. Fridges needed replacing doors would not close and ice built up in freezer compartment. Bed was comfortable. Room size was suitable.

pleasant stay”

Good location. Staff very obliging. Our group had sports competition start at 7am so breakfast was supplied at 6am. This was very much appreciated. Rooms are in need of facelift but are clean, beds reasonably comfortable, have free wifi, and swimming pool. I'd happily stay here again.

Definitely not 4* more like 1*. The family room smelt of stale cigarettes, the linen on the bed I was sleeping in stank of cigarettes, disgusting and the outer blankets being filthy. The bed looks and felt 20 years old not comfy at all, the whole decor is extremely outdated and feels dirty. Spend a little bit extra and stay elsewhere, it definitely did not leave a good impression with my family,

Well located but very disappointed.”

The first room they gave us hadn't been made up, there was food that was going off in the bin....and in 40 degree heat it was putrid. The a/c wasn't on and when we turned in on it didn't cool the room. There was no soap at all in the room, the toilet leaked and when flushed sounded like it was going to explode. For $ this room was simply not what we expected, or what was advertised. We won't stay there again.

Wouldn’t waste my money! The floor in our room hadn’t been cleaned in ages as our feet were black! Bed was horrid and the service pretty lousy.

I know you get what you pay for, and I was expecting dated furnishings and perhaps a soggy bed. But at least clean. I could tell surfaces had not been cleaned, could see the fingerprint smears and dust, and did not at all trust the cups and glasses. Location was great and price was good, but sanitary- I think not.

Last-min booking, glad to have a bed”

Room stayed bright all night, with lighting outside. Kids couldn't sleep. Otherwise, basic amenities were fine. Restaurant was closed (I.e. no breakast).

FRAUDS! MISREPRESENTED! ”

Don’t waste your money! Completely misrepresented! The pool was ‘closed’ and completely green! The restaurant was closed, so the included breakfast, was cornflakes in zip lock bags! And 2 pieces of stale bread… left on the doorstep at 7pm AT NIGHT! The wifi didn’t work… the toilet set was broken! They stated that they have house keeping, yet a sign saying ‘wash your own dishes’ but no dishwashing liquid or sponge provided. The dishes were absolutely putrid! There was black mold in the shower…the lady in the next room said the hot water wasn’t working properly… not sure on that?.. we left in the middle of the night, I didn’t want to even get in the bed… Don’t look at the website photos… believe me.. that’s not what you are getting!!! And staff are RUDE!

Good stop over ”

It’s a great place to stay as a stop. Close to Victorian border and easy to get into town by car. If you have trouble getting up stairs it’s a good idea to request a ground level room.

Disappointing ”

Initial check in, staff member very non interactive, non engaging, appeared as I was an inconvenience. No welcome speech,or instructions, had too ask about the free breakfast included? No milk in fridge, or bottled water, rooms very dated and facing west with heat 35c, AC too small for room. Couldn't wait too wake and get out at 0630am. Highly not recommended!

Quit dissapointed! Room very dirty , a lot of dust on the table, didnt vaccum the carpet, the kettle, dishes not clean. The air condition not cold , the ceiling fan almost broken, make a bad sound and swing like gonna falling down soon. That terible! Its such a nightmare for us that choosed to stayed here. And reception, not nice, no service mind. Not say anything just ask name and gave me a room key. For the security in this place i gave 1 star as well, i stayed in the room that door chain is broken. The car patk very dark no light.
