Close to Belvedere Castle and surrounded by a beautiful park, Austria Trend Hotel Beim Theresianum Wien feels more like a country retreat than a downtown hotel. The nearby subway and quaint tram connection mean quick and cheap transport around Vienna, including all of the tourist attractions and museums. Large and comfortable rooms have modern furnishings in warm colors and include satellite TV and internet access. Some rooms have small, traditional terraces, perfect for enjoying open-air breakfasts or enjoying the large breakfast buffet served in the traditional restaurant.

Just stay the night”
Clean, comfortable and nice room. Too bad we reached late and check out early next day. Didn't really enjoyed the room~
Clean , courteous staff, near metro”
Courteous staff, clean comfortable beds, near metro and 10 mins walk to main railway station.
The hotel is nice, room was tidy and clean, staff was helpful and polite, recommended !
Excellent location. ”
Location is excellent as it's quite near the Vienna central station. If you know how to walk in the underground, you can even exit from the train station that's very near the hotel. Got aircon. Got lift. Shower water pressure is excellent. Wifi is ok, but sometimes can't connect Internet even though i was connected to wifi. But when connected, it was ok.
Friendly hotel close to Schloss Belvedere”
We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Beim Theresianum. Managed by the Austria Trend, the hotel is good for business, leisure, city break and romance as well. The only trouble is that check in time is after 3pm.
The hotel is very close to a U-BAHN station / OBB / Bus Station, hence, its very accessible to city and to suburbs. Hotel is clean, rooms are big in size. Bathroom is comfortable with bathtub. Our room is facing the street, hence, it is a little noisy with moving cars. There are two supermarkets located across the street.
We chose this hotel because it was the centre of the attactions we wanted to visit. We had a rented car so we had to pay for parking in the hotel garage. Public transport was quite convenient though not at the doorstep. There are a few reasonably priced restaurants on the same street - Japanese, Italian.
Good Hotel, Good size room. Good first impression with the sizable clean lobby. When checked out , The clerk asked how was the room?(Most hotel clerk do not ask this question). I told her that the soap dispenser was empty above the wash basin, this was the only deficiency.
good experience to stay in this hotel”
good location with clean room and also bathroom. Staff very nice and helpful.
Booked this hotel for the location itself, 8 minutes walking distance to Wien Hbf. Room are clean and good breakfast.
good stay if you want to stay near the main Central station, otherwise you have to take metro to other places of interest. very good and clean room with breakfast.
Expensive parking fee”
19 euros per night Located quite far from the city but big room
The hotel is only 5-7 minutes walk from Vienna main train station. Across the road from the hotel are three supermarkets. There are also cafes and eateries along the same block. It would however be perfect if the hotel provides complimentary tea/coffee in the room like most hotels in Europe.
lacking in many basic amenities such as shaving kit and ironing board, which has to be specially requested from the reception. room was dusty. The only good thing was the location, very near the train station and only a 5min train ride to the old town
great hotel in a convenient location ”
pros - staff were really friendly and helpful, food in the restaurant was delicious, room was spacious and clean. Conveniently located a short walk from the train station and about 15 minutes from the old town. Cons - the pillows were way too soft/thin.
The hotel is located close to the Main Train Station, approx. 15mins away. The train station is huge so it depends on where you arrived at. Close to a few grocery shops so its good if you needed some drinks and snacks. The hotel condition was good and very clean, the staff were very nice and friendly. Room size was sufficient and bathroom was decent. Would definitely stay again!!!
My stay was pleasant though nothing special”
My stay here was just ok, nothing special quite unremarkable even. Breakfast was Ok too, nothing special. The toiletries lack some amenities that I needed like lotion and conditioner (but that too was ok) The room lackluster, bed was rather tiny even for a cute Asian like me. They are quite strict with the 11AM check out (which I understand); though I felt really bad when I felt like I scolded when I requested for a 12NN which up till now I can't forget being a hotelier myself. I was made to promise to check out at 12NN. That was why when I was going around for some last minute shopping, all I could do was watch the time (like Cinderella) so I could be back in the hotel before clock strikes 12NN. that's all. I'd say look for alternative accommodations when/if you can.
Decent budget hotel”
I stayed in this hotel about 4 days in the end of July 2013. Just a week before I arrived at Vienna, I had some problems with my passport and I had to delay the arrival. So I emailed the hotel, and they replied my email within an hour. And for me, the best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff. They replied the email with courtesy and didn't charge me for changing staying date. They still responsive when I asked so many things about the hotel location, public transport that I could use, etc. When I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was really friendly. It was one of the fastest check in I ever had. About the room, the size is kinda small and they didn't clean the room everyday. But it was really clean when I entering the room for the first time. The wall and the floor is kinda thin, so when someone passing the corridor, sometimes you could hear them. The hotel only had 1 lift (I think) and it's really small, only about 5-6 people could get in to lift at once. This is bothering me because coincidence, I need to go downstairs and checked out at the same time with a pack of tour.
Overall a pleasant stay. Public transport was a breeze, with the U1 line within a short 2 to 3 mins walk. The hotel is 3 stops from Wien Melding. There are three supermarkets across the hotel. Supermarkets however close early, maybe 7pm or so. Otherwise, there are eateries nearby, and are very reasonable price. I count 1 mexican, 1 italian and 1 viennese eatery within 3 mins walk. The room was small, but very clean. Only dissatisfaction was the lack of a kettle, not available on request too. Either catch the hot water from breakfast area during breakfast time, or go to the reception during other times. I was unable to check in at 2.15pm even though proper check-in time was 3pm. I understand the hotel policy but would appreciate a little more flexibility.
A hotel with good location and value for money.”
It is a hotel with good location (quite close to metro and city centre) ; the room is clean and confortable; the price for breakfast and the room is value for money. However, it should be noted that no hot water was provided in the hotel and it will be big problem if you have a baby who needs milk.
