Not Paris residence...This is the Avalon Hotel”
No big complaints about the hotel. Good location next to Gare Du nord - easy walk. Clean hotel, no aircon, good wifi - had to leave to early so didn't try the breakfast. Only problem is trying to find the hotel. It doesn't exist. You will be booked a room in the Avalon Hotel - which is at 131 Magenta (133 is the apparent location on paris Residence - that address is boarded up and closed). So tell your taxi driver to go to Avalon and if you're walking look for Avalon Hotel.

It is convienient as it is close to gare du nord. Usually the prices are good, I’ve stayed here a handful of times and each room has been different in size.. this most recent time it was incredibly small, but I only needed a place to sleep, so it was fine. The staff has always been great. If your room comes with breakfast it’s a plus. Otherwise, 12 euro is a lot.

Just came with my boyfriend for a few days traveling through and this hotel was perfect! The prices were reasonable and in the most convenient area. I have to say I’m really impressed with the hotel. Right in the heart of Paris. Everything you need, supermarkets and shopping, and main train stations are within walking distance. The staff here are really friendly, the building is quiet and clean. The building is half residential and half hotel. Which makes it feel more welcoming and like a home. We didn’t choose the breakfast option only because there are so many bakeries and cafes near, but it would’ve been convenient. The staff upgraded us a courtesy:) and we had a great balcony view as well.. overall recommend.

About 10 min walking from Gare Du Nord. Also there is a metro station nearby. One metro stop to Monmarte. Lots of halal food near Gare Du Nord. The young receptionist was very good. Helpful and attentive. Kudos to him.

I have a very lovely experience with this hotel. I must say that this hotel is worth the money, clean, good location and above all the stay make the difference.... Hotel receptionist is very friendly, Accommodating and helpful for tourist. The room we stay is big For us 3. I love this hotel... very good for relaxing and location is good. The hotel is just behind the metro station, a grocery is located 5 mins walk. Accessible to a hospital

Typical Paris in tiny rooms (had to leave the bathroom door open to use the toilet ) but otherwise the recently renovated room was fine. IKEA-type interior.

5 minutes walked from the Gare Du Nord Station”
Everything was fine. The minor thing was the hotel room was located beside the busy street. Hence you have to listened the noisy sound all the time.

Deceiving ”
No functional wifi in our room on the 4th floor (seems like it was only available in the lobby), we had to connect to the free wifi network from the 2-stars hotel nearby. No electrical outlet in the bathroom. Not worth the 3 stars indicated.

Very convenient & comfortable studio!”
Short but good stay between arriving on Eurostar & flying out of CDG, great location/set-up for this purpose. Only said poor re food above as didn't take up breakfast option as €10 ea seemed a bit steep, went to local supermarket & made use of studio kitchen instead!

We asked for shower cream on our 2nd day and they gave us a small bar of soap. On our 3rd day we asked again but we didn’t get any. And the front desk had the cheek to say that it is the hotel policy to only provide shampoo and shower cream on the 1st day. What ? So did we only pay for 1 day?

Trop de bruits. Mauvaise isolation sonore Regroupements de famille à long terme avec va et vient incessants la nuit. C’est une maison familiale pas un hôtel.

Nous sommes pourtant surpris par votre commentaire, notre établissement étant contraire aux séjours long terme. L’hôtel proposant plusieurs chambres Triples et Quadruples, il est bien sur sujet à la visite de familles, même nombreuses, et nous comprenons qu'elles puissent être un peu bruyantes, mais nous doutons que le bruit ait continué pendant toute la nuit et espérons que cela n'ait donc pas trop troublé votre sommeil. Hôtel bien situé proche de la Gare du Nord, en arrivant le personnel vous accueille tres agréablement et vous donne la chambre comme vous désirez voir surclassée. J'ai bien dormi le lit excellent, jolie chambre tres propre, rien à redire. Petit déjeuner dans salle agréable et le choix assez varié. J'y reviendrai sans soucis car le petit plus ils rénove tout.
