Better book the hotel via Avani official website, book through Agoda might land you to the private property owner instead. When we have issue with the house (room), owner become not responsive.

DISAPPOINTING VACATION”
Disappointing Vacation 1. If you want to book Avani Sepang Goldcoast, I’ll suggest do not used AGODA (maybe you will book with private owner of the villa) 2. The villa that I stayed is poorly maintained, dusty floors. 3. The phone did not work, so I had to use the handphone to call the hotel for any business/complain. 4. There is a broken door. 5. TV remote that does not work 6. Sliding door also does not work. 7. Some of the lights also out….. 8. Hairdryer also malfunction 9. When complained, the hotel informs we need to call the owner. Unfortunately the OWNER did not answer the phone.

Highly not recommended to take this owner unit, avani sepang management is not responsible on your stay. We had trouble with the air conditioning which it couldnt be switched on, then informed Avani management to look into it but management declared that they won’t take responsibility as it was an owner unit. We waited inside the room for some time but no one came. Contacted owner, Mrs.Lee but she refused to take responsibility too as she said she is on CNY break. This was the worst Avani experience. Room condition was horrendous which its tv was not functioning (no channel), house phone didnt have line (how to call during emergency?), couldn’t access to wifi (not allowed for owner unit to have access), room condition with a lot of defects etc. Called Duty Manager, Mr.Govi for a buggy service during check out but it only arrived an hour later. Our first stay in avani sepang was on july 2021, avani unit, all ok. But didn’t know, owner unit (agoda home) was this bad. Not recommended at all. Hopefully others will not encounter such terrible holiday experience by paying a hefty price for such unsatisfactory unit.

The worst experience ever”
The earliest check-in time according to the host and hotel is at 3pm. End up only check in at 5.30pm. Reason being the previous customer only check out at 4pm (even though the latest check out time is at 12noon). Excuse, the customer overslept. Enter the room at 5.30pm, the room was not cleaned. Dirty plates was still on the table. Put the plate outside, but only collected the plate next day afternoon. The hotel claimed that the room was cleaned and sanitised before each customer, and even sealed the room for 24 hours (how is this possible if the previous customer only check out 1.30 hours before out check in?). Complained to the hotel staff, but push the blame to the host. Told the staff that we will complain online, and the staff could say it's fine because they will delete the comment online. Using the swimming pool. The staff only works on 2 shifts. For first half of teh day could only book between 8 to 12, and for after slots, can only book after 12. if the slots are full, you have to walk all the way from the room to the pool just to make the reservation. Oh, and none of the hotel phone are working. can't call to make reservation. can't call the buggy services. My suggestion is, with the amount that you pay? Totally not worth it. Pick other hotel. Go to PD, or anywhere. with the amount that you paid, others are much better.

For a resort which relies on buggy system to move around, it could use some improvement in terms of the buggy frequency. The room itself is dusty and under maintained. Telephone was not working so we had to use our mobile phone to call the reception for a buggy. The bathtub was faulty and couldn’t collect any water so we couldn’t soak in the tub. Some lights were not functioning. Tv was not working. 2nd bathroom heater not functioning well. Not sure if the room was cleaned regularly as the windows and bedsheets were dusty and dirty. Overall we were disappointed with our stay but we made do as it was only 1 night

Service phone in the room all broken cannot use.. One of the toilet water heater not function.. Aircond not so cold.. Suggest traveller to direct book the room with hotel, they din't care much for direct owner room
