Great location. Near a supermarket. Several eateries. Rooms felt like it was more of a motel kind of feel rather than a resort. Rooms wise were relatively alright. However cupboard hinges were already spoilt when we went into the room. Provided shuttle buses to the theme parks. The shower always seems to leak out into the main bathroom area making everywhere wet. But if you aint fussy and need a place to stay you could stay here. Its convenient for alot of things.

Get what you pay for”
The hotel or the “resort” as they call it is far from the latter. Pictures definitely make it seem nicer than it really is, but again you get what you pay for. $51 per night should have been my first red flag, but figured they just may be hurting for business with everything going on. You can literally hear EVERYTHING! Walls are very thin and not the greatest clientele staying there. Was woken up several different times throughout the night, mainly because some douche bag wanted to peel tires in the parking lot at multiple different times throughout the night and early morning. Then would keep locking the truck to make the horn beep many times. Tried to mention it to the manager that morning as I was checking out, but was just told leave my room keys in the box and they’d send me an email with the confirmation. Well needless to say that never happened and didn’t really seem to ask or care how my stay went. Just drop the keys and leave. I’d say the only good thing about this “resort” is the location on International Drive being within walking distance of restaurants and attractions and they manager that checked us in was super polite and friendly. Definitely won’t be staying here again unfortunately.

Seems like a fairly popular resort or it might have been the season I went (summer) because it took a while to check in, very long line. I got one of the more expensive rooms as I had a quality in mind that I wanted. I was very disappointed! Felt like I wasted my money! The room was dirty with old furniture, it felt like an old cheap motel! I wouldn’t call this a resort I would call it a motel. The only thing this place has going for it is the location (which might b why ppl book it). Everything is close by. If u want luxury comfy rooms don’t waste ur money here, if the room doesn’t matter and u want location, well go ahead.

The Avanti Resort is located minutes from Universal and other attractions popular with visitors to Orlando. Numerous restaurants, bars, drug stores, bodegas, and coffee shops are within walking distance of Avanti. The resort offers shuttle service to many of the attractions. You can park your car at the resort when you arrive and shuttle or walk for the rest of your stay. We had a king suite. It was roomy. The interior was a little spartan. There was a plastic table with two chairs, an l-shaped couch, and a coffee service area. The bed was outstanding. The cleaning staff did a great job. We had a minor bug issue that was resolved the first day. We asked for and received extra coffee and towels. I received an email from American Express stating a large charge had been made on my card. I contacted the front desk and spoke with a manager. She said someone at the resort had mistakenly charged another guests room and charges to my account. She cancelled the charge and generously waived the incidental fees for my stay. The swimming pool, volleyball area, shuffleboard, and workout room were more than adequate. The $7.73 Bud Light at the pool bar was my first and last bottle of beer. I walked down the street and bought a six-pack for about the same cost. They might want to take a look at the pricing structure. We normally have a Margarita at the pool late in the afternoon. I made my own! The Avanti Resort is a good middle of the road choice for a family visiting Orlando. I told the manager when I checked out I would recommend it and I would return. It's not a Disney property and I was pleased with what I got relative to the cost of the stay. Yes, I recommend the Avanti Resort.

Exceptional”
Excellent location and a gorgeously big room and a great toilet. Some reviews would have mentioned that the hotel looks like a modified motel, but while that's the case, the interior is excellent for families looking for a comfortable, almost luxurious, stay. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and the free shuttle to the major theme parks is an absolute plus. If you ever want to stay in Orlando, this is the hotel to go to--and there's great food options right outside.

Excellent”
The resort part of the hotel is great. There is a big, warm pool and hot spa and plenty of seating/sun lounges. There is also a bar, restraunt and gym. The lobby is nice with plenty of seating, a cafe and a business area with seating and computers. They kindly stored our bags for the day between checkout and our flight. The room was a bit of a disappointment. The shower was mouldy. The interstate is at the back of the hotel so there was quite a bit of road noise. Take note that you will have to pay a resort fee at the hotel on top of the fee charged by Agoda.

RESORT FEE WILL BE CHARGED UPON CHECK IN/DIRTY ROOMS”
First, please know that if you book through any 3rd party, Agoda included, they will charge you a resort fee. The Agoda receipt will say that you will pay nothing else upon check in- not true. I was charged $13. Second, the hotel is beautiful. The first room they gave us in building 2 was gorgeous, completely renovated. But there was hair on the bed, counters weren't wiped down and pubic hair next to the toilet. My mother's room appeared clean, but AC was broken. They returned our resort fee and changed us to another room. This room was older, had a rattling humidifier, fridge was missing a leg so it wobbled forward every time you opened the door. No bulb in the small lamp, and the sheets had black stains. The bathroom had hair, and there was a crusted urine stain on the toilet seat. We called housekeeping again, they came immediately, changed our sheets,and I wiped everything down with my clorox wipes that I used to travel. The Maids were super nice and sympathetic. Why didn't we just check out right then? We were exhausted, traveling with small children, hadn't eaten in 4 hours, and had already changed rooms. As long as my sheets were clean, the rest didn't matter. My mom's room was missing a microwave and her sink backed up the next day. The positives? Location was awesome, staff was so nice, and amenities were beautiful. Head of housekeeping wrote me back after I answered the survey and apologized... but what good will that do me? They could have offered a partial refund and I might consider staying there again. As for now, not recommending this place. Others may have had a positive experience, and I may be one of the few that had issues. Take your chances!

I was skeptical.....but it Exceeded My Expectations! ”
Stayed for 6 nights during a volleyball tournament. Admittedly, when we pulled up I was worried because the outside of the building looked pretty old. But I assure you, they have taken every opportunity to update the area that they could in a way that makes you forgive and forget about the "old bones" of the building. The lobby is modern and cool (with a Starbuck barista included), the pool area was awesome and the rooms were clean and newly updated. The pool area has plenty of seating and the bar and music are great (consider staying open until midnight maybe) The things that were outstanding: 1)the restaurant at the pool area was amazing, the staff was always happy, welcoming and singing :) and the food was some of the best I've had anywhere. 2) the rooms were cleaned every day and cleaned well 3) the location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. 4) All of the staff was friendly and well trained. This hotel refit has been done right. You will not be disappointed!
