Comfortable Hotel”

Location was perfect to visit wife's family - but is a long way from most places for a general traveler. Room was very spacious. I had booked a smaller room for first night but was upgraded to larger room for whole of our stay.

Aircon got problems. Not cold at all. Every room they put a fan. No window.. makes the room quite warm. No hot water for shower. Not very happy about that. But good thing was can find food around just walking distance.

My travel partner and I loved the hotel in itself, the only downside would be the restaurant isn't available and the location of the hotel itself isn't walkable distance to any good restaurants.

We've stayed at Avatar hotel for nearly 10 occasions and it has always satisfied us. Located brilliantly in developing area of Tan Phu district, it allows you (together with a hired bike/taxi) to explore the vibrant area, food, nightlife, shopping(Parkson Flemmington is nearby). As we stayed at Tet holiday, it's very memorable time to us. Looking forward to the next time staying at such nice cosy hotel.

Overall stars - 3.5 of 5 Hotel staff - 4 of 5 polite courteous Restaurant staff - did not use, under renovation Room service staff - did not use Housekeeping staff - 4 of 5 clean room Room - 3.5 of 5 Bed comfortable rating - 3 of 5 a little hard Room size – medium Restaurant / breakfast - did not use, under renovation WIFI - Free, ok connectivity Location - Tan Binh district (15 mins from airport, 15 mins to new Aeon mall) Attractions / Sights - Most sights would be within US$8 taxi ride I'd say. Free shuttle - no Spa - Nil Room Tip / Comments - No window room are perfect if you do not want noise.

Clean, reasonable size rooms with cheap rate and within walking distant to grocery stores/restaurants and my relatives' places!
