Budget Stay in Siargao”
Aventino’s Pizzeria and Room Rental Guest House specializes in Italian dishes—pizza and pasta— and is famous in Siargao. The only problem here is the maintenance of the rooms. My accommodation was not ready when I arrived at 2:00pm, the check-in time. The room was swarming with mosquitoes and ants, and the washroom was filthy. I reported the issue, but they did not do anything about it. However, the crew is courteous, polite, and all-the-time smiling whenever I have questions about Siargao. They even gave me an idea of the standard prices of the tourist spots so the locals won’t overprice me. This is the best place to stay if you’re going to be out the whole day and just go back to sleep.

Perfect for thrift trip”
Cheapest airconditioned room we've ever stayed so far. You can invest more on your activities in Siargao and relax at night in their quiet place. The room can even accommodate more than 2people. The toilet in our room was not working though. Overall, it's a good stay if you're on a budget, and the location is very near to their local market. Staff are friendly and pizza was very good too! 👍👍👍

The owner of the Aventinos is very helpful and the staff were accommodating. Thank you so much. Your place is really highly recommendable. Easy to find, easy to go along the beach for swimming & even the market is just few meters from the place. Their Pizza tastes delicious too!

Just OK”
Booked this hotel during my solo trip to Siargao. When I opened the room, it had a certain smell, must have been due to a leak on the roof or somewhere in the toilet. I think they need to have the septic tank checked. The room was very basic, no TV, 2 beds and it was spacious. I only needed a place to sleep and put my stuff so it worked for me despite the setbacks mentioned earlier. Located right in the center of town. They also have a pizza place which was good. What I loved about this place was that the owner helped me get a ride back to the airport when I checked out because my original ride did not arrive on time.

We booked a room in this guest house for our last night, knowing that we won't really stay until the next morning since we're leaving by 10 to load our car in the RoRo ship back to Surigao since loading is at 11. Despite it's affordable price it is clean and spacious. But don't expect a hot and cold wide shower room with this worth. It's only good for backpackers or travelers on a budget. Hence, our reason for staying here was just to take a shower have something to rest for awhile after having our rainy island hopping.

The place is located in front of the catholic church which is accessible to all kinds of transportation and in the heart of the area. The staff was very accommodating.

Good for the price ”
Although it's not on the main road exactly it's still near enough to hear the motorbikes going past but you get used to them. It's attached to a pizza shop and they certainly make very good pizzas with good hygiene practices.

Clogged Toilet Bowl and Huge Windows with No Locks”
We were supposed to stay here for 5 days but the place is so unbearable that we chose to pack-up and leave the very next day. First issue was their huge windows that have no locks. You can open these huge windows from the outside. Despite of this, they continue to have a poster inside the room that "management is not liable for any loss or damage to your property". This is definitely bellow standard for any hotel regardless of how low-end they are since they are not able to provide basic, basic security for our belonging. The staff moved us to another room. In this room, it's the toilet bowl that has a problem. It was also quite difficult to find a manager/supervisor to answer our concerns because he is always out. When we demand from the staff that we see a supervisor, their simple response is: "he is busy". Wow! Too busy to face a complaint from a paying customer! Finally when we got to meet the brother of the owner, and told him about the clogged toilet bowl, his reply was, "it has been like that for the longest time". The toilet bowl has been clogged for the longest time and still they didn't do anything about it. The brother of the owner offered to move us back to the room with the windows that have no locks and can be opened from outside. He said he will just put some nails on the window frame so that it couldn't be opened. But by this time, our confidence in the hotel has totally been eroded, and chose to leave altogether.

arrived at the hotel, they did not expect us as guests at all. despite fully paid in advance, no room is available. they sent us to another hotel at their expense. had there been no available rooms in the island, we got no where else to stay, it would have been worse.
