Clean for its money, with good breakfast. Unfortunately, impossible to sleep because of the outside noise. Its on the road, the ambulances and the tram pass right outside until late at night and thw old window doesnt help at all. If you sleep only few hours at nights, its ok!

GUYS IF YOU CAN STAY AWAY FROM AVENUE HOSTEL!MY BED HAD BED BUGS AND I HAD A VERY VERY VERY BAD INFECTION.MATTRESSES AND CURTAINS HAVE LOTS OF BUGS.READ THE REVIEWS AND YOU LL SEE THAT I M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD THIS PROBLEM.GUYS I HAVE SOMETHING SERIOUS ON MY SKIN SO...THINK ABOUT IT !!!

The room was too small for 6 beds. The beds do not match with the photos that shown in the website. The breakfast time could start early. It starts at 8am so I had to miss it for morning train.

Despite the entrance, hostel was very nice especially Samy and Petra helped us a lot. Its very friendly and facilities are easy to use and available all times. Only minus would be our room was a bit cold at nights but than we visited at the coldest times :) I would stay here again If I come back to Budapest. Great location 👌 No need to use transportation.

Bad experience first time stay in hostel in Budapest . We are so disappointed ☹️. we stay in dorm room 4 beds some of our roomate (a couple👫🏼) they came at the late night (around almost 2 am) and they were drinking and having sex. we couldn’t fall asleep , it was so bad to be in that situation. and in the middle of the night they throw up in the room many times. it was terrible night.

One of the best choice for budget travel ”
As you know, it is cheap. But the location is actually perfect. It's center of the city so you can easily go to any of your destination in the city. The room is shared by 12 people in my case. Sometimes, I felt little bit noisy, but basically it was acceptable. Anyway it's really cheap so I totally recommend it for budget Travelers.
